Just as they watched a paying customer inside I know whom ever was activating camera could see what was going on through glass windows right outside their door ( a good 10 minutes) however as I sat in my car with that man's truck parked at an angle behind my vehicle (30) I saw no officer drive by to see if woman was ok.

It's relatively clean in here, with an attendant here most of the time. And of course it smells like laundry. They have an ATM, and coin machines that sometimes give you laundry tokens, quarters or a combination of the two. There's also some vending machines with small snacks. The restroom is locked so you have to ask for it to be opened. Plenty of room and folding space. There is a small parking lot on the side and some street parking as well. It's close to home and convenient so will continue to return to wash things that don't fit in my top loader at home.

We came with work laptops expecting to stay a while and were done much sooner than expected. The washing machines we chose accepted credit cards and took under 30 minutes for a full cycle. Next stop: dryers - also much faster than expected, under 35 minutes to finish. These machines also accepted credit cards. Plenty of clean folding tables at a decent height. The only thing we needed change for was the soap dispenser, which had a few decent choices. While we were there we only noticed one machine out-of-order, and there were plenty more to utilize, even on a busy Sunday morning trip.

Some of the machines appear newer too. There were two men walking around greeting people and sweeping the whole time I was here. I watched both of them hold doors for people as they went out and came in with their clothing. A woman came in with a very large rug and one of them helped her load it into the appropriate machine. They have extractors here, which I wish I would have used before putting my comforter in the dryer, but I wasn't sure about it. ‍ when I asked after it had gone through one cycle if I should pull it out of the dryer and put it in the extractor, the gentleman told me he thought at this point, it probably just needed more time. And proceeded to load the dryer with a dollar of not my money. While waiting for it he continued to check on me "one more?" :) It was very sweet. I don't think I've ever been spoken to at a laundromat before. This was a great experience. I will be back here when I have larger things to do.

Came over and cleaned out the lint trap without me asking. Bathroom was very clean. The signs were visible and very helpful. The parking lot was a little sketchy. Lots of traffic in that area. Cars speeding into the lot and out. Saw two almost accidents. I was putting my bag into my trunk and a teen/young adult was lingering around my car. I had the driver door open while putting stuff in my trunk. Luckily, I had my purse on my person. Due to that I probably won't go back there.

Total strangers were greeting me and asking how I was. Not only that, but the people who work here are super sweet too! I had half a dozen 13 gallon trash bags full of clothes and was slowly bringing them in. One of the employees held the door for me and then grabbed the other two bags I had left next to my car. The price for washing and drying seems to be typical of most laundromats. There are tons of machines to chose from. They have top-loading and front-loading commercial washing machines. The smallest washer starts at $2.00. The most expensive machine is GIGANTIC and costs $17.50. I went with the second largest machine, which costs $9.50 for a regular wash and $11.50 if I want to do "Super Cycle." I was able to fit about 4 of my large trash bags in each machine (only filling it half way) and then transferred those loads to the big dryers that cost $3.50 base fee and 25c for every 2 additional minutes. I find it most economical to start with the large dryer for 50 minutes and then finish anything that's still damp in the stacked dryers for $1.00. I have got to say that the best part about this whole place is that they have incredibly convenient hours. They are open from 6am to Midnight Monday through Saturday and are open from 5am to Midnight on Sunday. I've been lucky enough to come during the day when hardly anyone is there, so I get a ton of clothing washed in practically no time at all. Having a token machine on premise helps a great deal too. I don't usually carry quarters (which the machines take), so being able to turn my money into tokens (which the machines also take) was incredibly helpful and made me feel a bit safer since there isn't cash on hand.

Unless I want to do several continuous loads, that means using huge laundromat washers Suds has two massive washers. One was apparently out of order. The coin receptor on the other jams so badly, it may as well have been labeled out of order as well. Even the attendant gives up on it and refunds my money with an apology and a suggestion to use the next largest washer drum. The machine was already fully loaded with items and detergent, if course, so this made for an amusing - and very messy - swap. Tons of powder soap end up on the floor in front of both original and smaller machine. The attendant had stated he'd return the amount he and I had gotten through jamming into the first machine as well as give me a single-size soap packet to make up for what I put into the mess. In returning with the cash and seeing my large containers of detergent, he notes this and says he guesses I don't need the soap after all. Heads up: Customer service isn't about whether the guest has enough to cover your mistakes as a business - it's about taking responsible for bumps in your operation and their consequences. I jokingly muse that I could drop a note in the suggestion box, and the attendant dryly responds - Steve would never fix it. Or upgrade to coinless operations to make life much easier for his guests. Well, that's comforting. It's okay, there are plenty of laundromats that not only would, they have long provided that service. Oh, and while waiting on my washer, I spotted another guest having to unload a dryer to move his items to the next one over - because the coin receptor on it was jamming as well. Nice. Irony that in leaving this spot, I drop in on a lovely, clean laundromat down the way that I'll definitely be visiting next time I have blankets to wash. So thanks for that!
