Good place, good prices. This is the place you want to go to if you need a big machine, or have none at all.

Ohhhh my Goodness!!! I'm blown away with how cool this place is!!!! It's like every mother's dream…read morelaundromat!!! Long story short, my 18-year-old moved into her own place nearby five months ago... And has had some dirty laundry that needed to be washed since then! The cool mom I am has done some of her clothes a few times but today when she asked if I'd come hang out, I had enough of seeing these bags of blankets and laundry that have been sitting around for months now needing to get washed. Her apartment I has a dinky, dungeon like laundry room that has a whole 2 washer and driers for the whole dang building...and they can't do laundry after 10 PM because of the noise machines! Plus it's $2.75 for the washer and $2.75 for the drier (and they are the standard TINY washer and driers!) As we were loading up 8 loads of laundry to be done, I started to prep her mentally about how some laundry mats can feel a bit sketchy. She said there was a brand new laundromat close by. Perfect! Close is good because we will be there for hours! When I opened the door to start hauling in the piles, my jaw dropped. What??? Washers that hold 6 loads at a time??!!! And it was only $7.75?!!! (My thoughts- Sweet!!! We are going to get this done in record time!!!) I had the kids start to sort and load the machines while I went to figure out if I was going to need to run and get quarters (hey, it's been 20 years since being to one of these things) I looked at the machines and noticed I could download load an app that syncs with the machines and easily pay for it quickly and skip running to the nearby bank and hope they would let me buy a thousand quarters to get this job done. (Omg! Have I mentioned this place is cool?!!) after getting the washer is going to, I started to look around and saw they had two washers that held 9 LOADS OF LAUNDRY each- 9 loads at one time!!! Being the awed mom mode I was in, I went to hunt down the current user of those 2 treasures 9 load machines to ask how much they cost to run a load. The smart lad told me the manager of the cool happened to be "over there" and how he was so awesome every time he came in to do laundry. So I marched myself over to tell him how blown away I was with his laundromat ask for some where do you learn just how much laundry soap to use. Super cool guy! AND he then he gave us each a really super sturdy laundry bag to keep! Then he introduced us to his wife to boot. She started telling me that they were working on a referral program. Which would make doing laundry they are even more affordable! She also told me that they are doing a special of free dryers on Wednesdays through August! It seriously couldn't have been a better experience! And we got everything done super fast!

When you wash you are getting dregs of 1000s of other peoples detergent scents. I use fragrance free products and my laundry reeks as if I used heavily scented stuff. The lack of cleaning out detergent build up means mold and other foulness can be present. Not enough folding tables, no soap in the restroom. Homeless and messed up folks sleeping on the floor. Sad to see it go so far downhill.

It's a waste of money because if I needed to dry my clothes for just another 5 mins or so, I would have to put in at least $2 for 30 min. The rest of the 25 min, which I paid for, would just be wasted. It's either that or I would have to settle for damp clothes. I really wish they would change it so you can dry your clothes by the quarter.

I'm by no means a laundromat connoisseur, I just need a place to wash my clothes that isn't too…read moreexpensive or gross. I deeply regret not vacating the second I saw the prices. By the time I needed to use the bathroom, rather urgently since I'm pregnant, it was too late to pack up and leave. Clothes were locked up for the next 20 minutes. For $3.75. In the tiniest washer I'd ever seen. On $1 off Wednesday. But I digress. Despite being turned to vacant, the bathroom will not open. At this point I was barked at by the owner that bathrooms for only for customers. When I explained that I am indeed a customer, he led me to an iPad affixed to the wall, where I was led through a long, pointless, and buggy questionnaire to confirm the veracity of my claim, presumably while my womb filled with excess urine. "the bathroom door will be unlocked for 10 seconds" proclaims the screen, as I waddle as quickly as I can to the door, 8 feet away and around the sink, which was filled with what I can only assume were the results of those not fortunate enough to successfully make the journey. I swing the door open, only to be assaulted by what I can only assume is what 10,000 diapers smell like. There was paper strewn about, and visible urine and feces... you know what? This is gross. Let's skip this part. I let out whatever sort of sound people make in that situation, and quickly closed the door. I started for the exit, not stopping as the owner yelled inquiries at me as to what my problem was. The bathroom at the thrift store next door was quite nice. I returned momentarily to wait for my husband's scrubs to complete their cycle, plenty of time to appreciate the state of the floors. Perhaps I'm being unfair. I might have caught them before the day they sweep each month. Who's to say? The rest of my visit was relatively uneventful. I left having spent 5x more than I would have for drop off wash and fold at a Grand Avenue laundry, which made me feel pretty fancy. Still, the snack machines were empty. One star.
