I looked on Yelp on where I could go that would take credit cards, since I don't log around cash and even if I did, the cost of a load of laundry these days costs $3.00 or more which would mean a lot of quarters! The laundromat at my condo thankfully switched to the use of credit card a year ago, and I can't imagine going back to coins. Sad to see how people treat places provided to them for their basic needs. There was a man digging out of the trash in front for food to eat, I found that unsettling and sad. So I looked on Yelp and found this laundry mat that said it takes card payments. It was a relief for me because I didn't have to drive to the bank to take out money. When I got there, I tried 4 different washing machines and all 4 did not work... I decided to just take cash out the ATM which charged me $3. I don't see a point of having machines that take card payments when they don't work. Other than that the place was clean and they have one bathroom for people to use.

Too many machines take credit cards only. Even the two change machines are not working. I just suggested to another customer he walk the block to the TCF to get change to do laundry. One of the change machines has been out of order for at least three weeks the last time we were here. There is water all over the floor near one of the washers; this has been a constant problem for years. There is no soap in the Ladies room and no paper towel in the Men's room. This used to be the laundry we preferred because of the $1 discount on most machines on Monday and Wednesday. From now on we will drive the extra few miles for a more reliable laundry.

First off when did laundromats become so expensive???!!!! I may end up sounding old for this,…read morebut.... back when I was a kid it was $1.25 for a regular size machine, and maybe $3 for a jumbo. Drying was $1 and it was an hour. (Deep Breath) Now that I've gotten that off my chest, the total cost of today's visit was $17.75. I used two Mega Load washers (for comforters, rugs, and bulky items) at $7 each. They also have a few machines that are even bigger at $10, which in hindsight may have worked for all my items. They also have smaller machines (regular size) at $4.50 a load. All machines take quarters, but a few also take credit cards. Same goes for the dryers! There have three sizes, at the following prices, but be warned you only get 35min - (L)$4.25, (M)$3.00, (S)$1.75. Each additional 5mins is $0.25. With the exception of 2 items everything was dry in 40mins or less. Unfortunately, once the cycle ended the machine wouldn't allow me to do just an extra 5mins (only the 35min run) While there, I didn't see any staff, but there are several security cameras so I'm sure someone's watching in a different area. Maybe the wizard! The space is clean and has ample seating, and folding tables. They have a restroom, but I didn't check it out. They have a TV, but I dont know if there's a remote to change the channel. They have several Change/Coin machines (which dispenses quarters and tokens). Be sure to use up the tokens first. There are vending machines for drinks, snacks, and single use detergent (or just go to a store less than 1minute away). Only thing I didn't notice was a laundry/ utility sink and paper towels. While waiting on your laundry, there's a second hand store, Family Dollar and CVS in the strip, and less than a block away is Dairy Queen and Walgreens.
