Spring cleaning in means switching everything winter in a home for spring. Unless I want to do several continuous loads, that means using huge laundromat washers Suds has two massive washers. One was apparently out of order. The coin receptor on the other jams so badly, it may as well have been labeled out of order as well. Even the attendant gives up on it and refunds my money with an apology and a suggestion to use the next largest washer drum. The machine was already fully loaded with items and detergent, if course, so this made for an amusing - and very messy - swap. Tons of powder soap end up on the floor in front of both original and smaller machine. The attendant had stated he'd return the amount he and I had gotten through jamming into the first machine as well as give me a single-size soap packet to make up for what I put into the mess. In returning with the cash and seeing my large containers of detergent, he notes this and says he guesses I don't need the soap after all. Heads up: Customer service isn't about whether the guest has enough to cover your mistakes as a business - it's about taking responsible for bumps in your operation and their consequences. I jokingly muse that I could drop a note in the suggestion box, and the attendant dryly responds - Steve would never fix it. Or upgrade to coinless operations to make life much easier for his guests. Well, that's comforting. It's okay, there are plenty of laundromats that not only would, they have long provided that service. Oh, and while waiting on my washer, I spotted another guest having to unload a dryer to move his items to the next one over - because the coin receptor on it was jamming as well. Nice. The cost to wash in the large size machine that's one step down from the giant machine is about 10.50$ to wash with hot and add aditional rinse and all the other options. The time it took to wash was about 33 minutes. The laundromat is clean having an on staff person who seems to be cleaning the floors and areas constantly. There is a hand wash stations that people use to wash and soak your clothing and they have clean folding tables. There is also a snack room that has a good selection of vending machines as well as a crypto atm and a regular atm. There are those little machins you use to see back in the days that you put coins in and it give you a capsle with some silly junk toy and a claw machine While you wait you can also get your lotto products from an on-site lotto machine as well as there is a table with 6 chairs that have usb ports and power ports so you can work or charge while you wait. The location has laundry supplies if you forget yours as well as a change machine. There is also a whole pet washing station that's in a section attached to the laundromat. I peeked in and the setup looked very nice and was very clean it seemed to have everything to wash your pet but again I'm not sure how good it is since I just noticed it today. The location has ample parking and a good quantity of the rolling baskets. There are also a large amount of dryers of various size. The place accepts credit cards on all the machines as well as you can dow load the tumble fresh app online and load your cash on there and use tap payment or also monitor your washer or dryer and have it send you notifications when your load is done or even just monitor it. This place is very state of the art compared to the laundromats I have been to in the past.

Much worse than the last time I was here. All the floors are dirty. There are dryer sheets and bits of garbage all over the floor. The waiting room looks like a party was held in it. ( that is July and August 2019). The folk that use this big laundromat work 2-3 jobs and represent all nationalities. After a long exhausting day, they come here with HUGE loads of laundry from their families, small children in tow. WHY subject them to this stifling 91 degree plus laundromat where within minutes sweat comes pouring down your face!! When you wash you are getting dregs of 1000s of other peoples detergent scents. I use fragrance free products and my laundry reeks as if I used heavily scented stuff. The lack of cleaning out detergent build up means mold and other foulness can be present. Not enough folding tables, no soap in the restroom. Homeless and messed up folks sleeping on the floor. Sad to see it go so far downhill.
