Best laundry place ever ... I've had many many therapeutic laundry nights here ... many many mind conversations in my own head ahhhh

So long as I have frequented this business, last wash has always been at 8:30pm. The machines will not start or take payment after 8:30pm. This is obviously in place so that employees can go home on time at 10pm (the posted closing time) I tend to have a large amount of laundry that I like to get done all at once with little to no extra wait time. So I tend to plan my trips to The Laundry Company right around last wash, this worked so well for me until today. Tonight I arrived at 8:25pm. Unloaded my laundry from the car, brought it inside and began spreading it between 4 large load machines right inside the door. During this process I made eye contact with an employee who clearly saw me loading the washers. She said nothing until I finished loading and was about to pay for each machine. Then suddenly "We're closed, we're way closed!" I asked her to clarify what time they closed and she said 8pm. "Ok, when did that start?" "As long as I've been working here" she said. Well that's news to me! "Where does it say you close at 8pm?" "There's a sign on the door" "No, there's not" at this point she goes to the door and grabs the 'sign' from it. IT WAS A POST IT NOTE!! WHO LOOKS FOR A POST IT NOTE TO MAKE SURE A BUSINESS IS OPEN BEFORE ENTERING THE BRIGHTLY LIT BUILDING WITH AN ALSO BRIGHTLY LIT NEON OPEN SIGN??? I give an extra star for cleanliness and free dry. Do better to communicate changes with your clientele. read more

I have been coming to this place for years. Recently the service here has been HORRIBLE! Not only is almost every single washer and dryer out of service the workers here just shrug their shoulders when you ask them questions or act like they don't know what they're doing. I love this laundromat! It was clean and the lady that worked there was helpful and friendly! She was very nice especially after my pillow batting unfortunately made a huge mess all over the floor and in the washing machine! There is a huge table to fold your clothes on. Also, the dryers are FREE! Yes, FREE! I also appreciate how big it is I don't feel like I am constantly bumping into other people. At least half of the 24 dryers are non op most of the time. It's dirty ass hell lately and the woman working here at the time was gone for 45 minutes despite having a sign out that said she'd be a "few" minutes so people lined up waiting to buy product, complain etc and she was nowhere to be found for 45 mins despite knocking on employee doors and ringing the bell and calling on the phone. This place has gone downhill since she was hired and the dryer situation is deplorable. Don't claim you can "dry for free" when you're dryers rarely work! I used to drive from Orangevale to here because it was nice but i will be finding a new laundromat. The attendant also wouldn't give me the owners phone number to make a complaint so guess i have to do it online. read more

There was no one available when my washing machine said "fill error" multiple times throughout the entire cycle . When she finally did return , she simply said the only thing she could do was to notify the manager but would not tell me when he would be in so I could speak directly to him . Let's just start off by saying the place was a mess and there was dog hair every where especially when you walked in. Nothing was swept up at all and it was hot in the building. Half of the washers did not work and some of the dryers did not work either. I should have followed my instinct and left but I already drove some ways to get there. I ended up only washing 2 loads out of the 4 I had brought with me to was. it was 6.50 to wash each load which is expensive my normal laundry mat which is spin cycle only charges 3.75 per wash for the same size machine. I was charged an additional 3.50 per load so the total was $10 per washer. If you are going to wash at this location make sure you have $10 on your card for each load you have. They do not refund your money back for the additional fee even though the lady I spoke with yesterday said they are going to and she called the owner while I was there. Myself and two other customers were lied to about the additional fee. The dryers over heat and leave a burning smell in your clothes. Hopefully things get better for this laundry mat asap!! And just to help for the future you guys should work with this company called pay range it doesn't over charge your customers when using your washing machines or dryers. read more

Have to be doing my laundry at a mat because I am having my house remodeled. Of course it all had to happens during the pandemic! So we found the best laundromat in our neighborhood to visit. So the place is super clean. I have been there a few times and twice there was an awesome woman who was hustling big time to do laundry, keep the place clean and provide great customer service. The benefits of this place include free dryers, frequent washer card and clean and sanitary environment and a great loading area. I did see a lot of cleaning and the place seems clean. My dryer broke so I brought my freshly washed clothes here to dry them. When I got home I realized they all reached of gasoline. I wasn't going to leave this review because I thought it sounded crazy then I talked to a neighbor who went there and she said all of her clothes smell like gasoline and I read a review here but said the same thing. I was told I was not welcome anymore without what I feel is any true explanation. If feelings were hurt to the other person somehow, now there won't be any resolution. I was halfway through washing my clothes when all of a sudden, the attendant told me I couldn't start the wash of my 2nd load, she stopped the washer that was already going and I asked her if the laundromat was closing early. She then threatened to call a security guard to me and gave me a refund. But that doesn't cover the soap I just wasted...I was asking why and she said she just didn't want me in the laundromat when she was there. I've talked to this particular attended maybe 4 times and I've never been disrespectful-I've always said my "ma'am", "please" and "thank yous". Go elsewhere because this could be the start of something... One star for cleanliness and another for having card swipers on the washers. read more

It's only clean in the morning,and when they are getting ready to close.I still come to the parking lot because my son is taking classes a few doors down,but I no longer wash here. The Laundry Company has employees that are very friendly and keep the place pretty clean. The owner of the company is here a lot and is also pleasant to talk to. They do have a restroom that cleaner than a lot of laundromats. They have two monitors and if it's okay with others yo watch something different, all you have to do is ask. Free or Not #@!$ NO dryers available, dryers in back are humongous but you can only fill them 1\4 of the way or they dont work period!! I filled it half and was told I over filled it? NO carts available everyone fights over whos next. My daughter had to use the restroom. Restroom key was bent when attendant gave it to her I returned the key not having used the facilities she semi acused her of benting it there for NO RESTROOMS this place has really fell apart. This was my first time coming in here and this definitely won't be my last. The customer service at this place blew me out of the waters. I love it! Christina is awesome. I'm from the Elk Grove area, but I always coming to Falling prices and my washer broke so my boyfriend and I decided to try this place out. We don't regret a thing. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone. The price doesn't get any better! We came in at 8:30 in the morning and the place was pretty empty. Better for us right? It's not good for business when somebody comes in trying to discuss local school fundraisers and the actual owner of the company shuts them down without even hearing what we have to say... Needless to say- we will not be coming back to the Laundry co to do my laundry or any business! So I've been going to this place often on for a few months. I've tried to be very reasonable in my requests of matching brawn underwear numerous times. Unfortunately even the owner has a problem being able to match things that go together. I've gone to him several times for missing items that he claims have never been missing. I've also received other peoples clothing in my finished drop off laundry pick up. He claims that that does not happen and then it became very defensive. I didn't raise my voice when I brought up the issue numerous times. I would say that if you want to lose your Clothes, have a defensive owner who doesn't understand problems solving or customer service, this is the place to lose your clothing. I cannot recommend because trying to problem solve with them is unproductive and you'll still end up with missing clothing. Or if you're lucky you'll end up with baby clothes that don't belong to you. read more

Came here because my other laundry Matt was closed and my clothes smelt of STRAIGHT UP GAS I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE DRYING THERE STUFF HERE OR COMING HERE. The lady only offered me a dollar back into the dryer not even a physical dollar back of my money ! I've visited this establishment several times, its always clean. most the time the attendances are pleasant but the last few times I will say that the mask requirements aren't enforcement here and with the covid I just can't afford to contract that from anyone especially someone who isn't practicing safe hygienes at the laundry mat. Been coming here on and off for years. The facilities are very clean. The washers/dryers are well maintained and are cleaner than the ones at my apartments-worth paying a little extra. The selection of washer sizes is great, though 7 minutes per quarter for drying is a bit ridiculous. I like how they have a sink you can wash your hands, free coffee and a frequency program including weekly drawings for free laundry. They've always been helpful and nice. read more

Our washer broke and I had a load of very wet clothes to deal with. They were friendly and helpful and washed, dried and folded the load of clothes and sheets. If you don't have time to wash mountains of cloths then this is your place to go !! i bring in 6 or 7 bags of cloths to wash lol and they do a great job ! but my best advice would be to bring your own laundry soap ! Because they use an off brand that can fade your cloths . you also have the option to wash your cloths yourself but I don't do that lol . All in all this place is a life saver !! read more

I've tried six laundromats in town. This is by far the best. It takes me twenty minutes to get here but it's worth it I don't understand how places expect you to want to wash your clothes in a filthy place. This is my favorite laundry mat! I've tried quite a few since I've been out here. In fact there is a closer one to me but I always go out of my way to come here. Its warm in the winter and cool in the summer. The ladies are always super nice. My favorite is Miss Polly. The new owners are super nice and always ask us how they can make things better.
