What a lovely establishment! I've finally found a place to give me the bombshell lashes that I've always dreamed of without killing my pockets. The prices are just right and they sometimes run amazing deals. Take advantage! They are easy to get to via the subway. The establishment it's self is beautiful. Exposed brick walls along with a beautiful green flower wall. This place is spotless and always smell good. Good music is always playing also.... the vibe is very cool and chill. So far since I've been here the owner is always present and he's very nice. My lashes were fleeked (done very nice) by Emmani. I told her my vision and she executed it! First off...Just book your appointment now! Julian is the BEST to ever do it. You're gonna leave the shop a brand new person. My lashes are always natural looking but it still adds that extra pop-- have you feeling like a bad b--nvm idk if I can say that on here lmao. People always ask if they're my lashes & compliment me on how beautiful and long they are. You can literally tell them yes because there is no evidence that they aren't lol I've gone swimming (consistently once a week) like full face in the water, I wet my lashes pretty much everyday & they were still intact. You can go bare face or beat and they still look good & fit the look! The usually last 5-6 weeks. Literally no one else touches my lashes but Julian. I live for my lashes & You will too! read more

Unfortunately I went against recommendations and took The Lash Trap Lash and Microblading training. What was supposed to be 8 hours - was barely 4 hours. Which was okay because I felt like I learned a lot ... until I actually had questions and concerns and reached out - Narissa won't respond to texts, DM's, phone calls. Luckily I have 17 years in the beauty industry and she was very skilled -- I was able to practice and watch YouTube videos and learned lashes fairly fast. Microblading is another story. She wasn't prepared for the class - she had to mail me the fake skin to practice on -- which was great but I actually didn't learn how to properly Microblade... and I paid $1250. My kit. The lash glue was dried out, no primer, no remover. My microblading kit was the same. The ink was completely dried out, I was given enough blades for two clients instead of the 12 I was promised. Honestly, narissa is really cool and sweet and clearly very talented. But I think she's teaching to classes to create income for her true passion, which is music, and I feel like I deserved a lot more for the money I paid and the amount of accommodations I had to make. Don't bother with this class, ask around and you'll hear this echoed throughout NYC :(. I should have listened. I just loved the Lash Trap lash work so much I figured it would be awesome. :/ Disappointed. read more

So a girlfriend of mine is a regular here and recommended I check them out and just my luck they was running a promotion for $90 mink or silk lash set. So of course I booked my appointment! Upon entering I was greeted by name by my lash tech Kira. She was warm, friendly and bubbly. I showed her a few pictures of what I wanted my extensions to look like before she started working on me. She was very kind and patient. I told her it was my first time getting extensions and she explained the process with me and was very gentle. It took about 3 hours to do my lash extensions. Even though my eyes were closed the whole time I spent the whole time chatting it up with Kira over a wide array of different topics. She is a perfectionist and made sure I was completely satisfied with my lashes. The vibe of the lash studio was very welcoming and they played great music throughout my session. There are so many lash shops in NY, but I would rather wait to setup an appointment with him than go anywhere else. I've met people who've come from out of town just to get their lashes done. So let me start by saying emanni had been very consistent for the past 3/4 times I went to her but this last time I was extremely disappointed. For starters she was 30 minutes late and walked in without even saying sorry or anything. Got me started and during the process which I felt was very rushed decided to FaceTime people, text people and carry on. I'm ok with having no conversation with people while you do me but FaceTime in my ear and phone calls. To top this off my lashes began to come off the next day. The Lash Trap has been my first and only experience with professional lashes. My first time was a bit unnerving because I wasn't sure what to expect. I suffer from panic attacks, so I wasn't sure this experience would be for me. After taping my eyelids shut, Julian noticed I was uncomfortable because I started breathing fast and heavy (hello fellow panics). He immediately went into "safe mode" and helped me gather myself. He provided me with water, cool air, and a wet towel to help me calm down. After a few minutes later, and after feeling a little better, we tried again. This time he made sure I was okay by allowing me to only tape one eyelid at a time. I honestly thought after my experience he would never have me back (that crazy chick...). Thank goodness he didn't feel that way because not only did he make me comfortable and tend to me...my lashes looked amazing. I received so many compliments. This was September 2018. I really appreciate that he listens to what I want and my lashes always last 3-4 weeks. As I have a son it has been great to only come about once per month and my son has always been welcome to come with me.
