Lash lounge is way too expensive for what you're getting. There are several options around that are better and significantly cheaper. They also really struggle with a true natural lash look, no matter what you tell them or the pictures you show them. I asked for natural lashes and was assured that it's possible, but instead got a fan of unnatural lashes that were all the same length/ width and were way too thick. Please incorporate more natural lashes! More importantly, they don't offer a free removal if you're allergic to the very expensive set you just purchased. This is the first time I've ever left a bad yelp review, but I'm so upset. I came in for a lash lift and tint with Tammy. Her first attempt at the lash lift and tint was so disappointing so I repeated what I wanted to her and she tried again. The second attempt was even worse and at that point my eyes burned so bad I didn't bother to ask her to fix it again because she didn't do anything differently to fix it the second time. I don't know if she's a new technician but I'm super sad about the way my lashes look. As you can see in the photo my lashes are incredibly uneven and the hairs are going in different directions I payed $160 for this including tip because I felt bad!! This is the first bad review I write about any business. I made an appointment on a Wednesday at 10:00 AM to have my lashes curled. At 4:25 PM, we got a message through the intercom from our boss at work saying "all staff please report to the meeting center for a short huddle". I left the meeting at 4:40 PM and immediately messaged The Lash Lounge letting them know I was going to be late by 12-15 min max. I got a long text message telling me they were cancelling my appointment and charging $52.00 to my credit card on file. I responded by explaining this was an unexpected situation not under my control. I got a second LONG message telling me they had a 24-hr policy. I replied I had made the appointment just 7 hrs back and therefore that policy should not even apply, plus my service was going to take about 15-20 min only since I wanted just a light curling of my lashes. The lady sent me a third long message basically schooling me on their policy. Did I mention I was a client of this business for years before and I never missed an appointment due to negligence of my part. I spoke to one of my best friends who told me they did the same to her and she was considering canceling her membership. I feel really bad about the way I was treated. They gained a free $52.00, but lost hundreds and perhaps thousands of dollars by adopting such an obtuse and unfair way of doing business. I will NEVER go back to the Lash Lounge at 12525 Memorial Dr. Keep treating your clients that way and you may find yourselves out of business sooner than you think. My eyelashes prior to my first lash lift are straight lashes, with zero curl. I go to get a lash lift at The Lash Lounge hoping that the result will look like when I curl my lashes. My results of my first lash looked like the before picture on their website. My natural lashes touch my eyebrows when curled, which the lash lift did not accomplish. The ends of my lashes looked curled, but not the entirety of the lash (which is the obvious result clients want to see after a lash lift) So, I was overall, disapointed. With zero charge, they offer to redo my lashes the next day (6/11/23). I come in and they fix them, with only one pair of eyelashes looking presentable. I talk to my lash lady after, and I showed her a picture of my lashes curled with no mascara and told her they look better in the picture then they do now. She said next time we do a lash lift we can do a small rod, which is a level of the lash lift. The workers there did not tell me there was levels of the lash lifts, and they didn't give me the one that suited to my eyelashes the first time. It is not stated on the website there are levels of the lash lifts, they state "We'll find a custom curl that complements your features" which they did not do the two times I had been there.I assumed they would've either told me about the levels of the lash lift in person or done it themselves. I went back today, and the lashes barely look better than yesterday's lashes. One set of my eyeslashes look flat, while the other side looks messy, with the lashes going left and right. My friend had gotton a lash lift from The Lash Lounge in Jersey Village and they didn't ask her any questions regarding if she wanted a medium or small rod for her lash lift. She showed her lash lady a picture of my lashes and told my friend that her lashes won't look anything like mine, which makes me assume she thinks my lash lift is bad read more

Lashes placed on the left eye are longer than the one on the right...left eye lashes has a wider gap from root causing my bottom lashes to get caught when I blink. There is a difference between both my eye's lashes (spacing and length). For my follow up (refills) I will try Rola. Maybe the stylist I had wasn't that good. Update: After posting my review, Lisa contacted me and was so sweet! I waited over a month to write this review so that I could be objective. I've been here twice: In June, I had lashes out on for the first time ever. The stylist was professional and worked quickly, checking in on what I thought frequently since it was my first time. Afterward, I experienced 3-5 days of eye irritation, mostly bc of how my eyes were taped open during the process. I came back 3 weeks later for a refill. I had a different stylist and let her know my reaction after the first application. She used the "sensitive" glue and taping. I felt better after the 2nd application when I left, but within a few hours my eyes were in pain and I could barely keep them open. I called and they said the only thing they could suggest were eye drops or a removal. Over the next 24 hours, my symptoms got worse until I began removing the lashes myself in Sunday night; by that my eyes were blood/zombie red. The next day, I went to urgent care and was diagnosed with a severe double eye infection. The Lash Lounge couldn't fit me in for about an hour and a half, then called back to let me know it was actually going to be closer to 3 hours later. After my lashes were finally and completely removed, it took almost a full 7 days of treatment to heal the eye infection (for context: my eye infections in the past have taken about 4-5 days to heal). With all that being said, I do not recommend this business and if I ever get lashes again, it certainly won't be here. read more

So far so good! Have gone a few times now to get initial full set and refills. Like how clean and inviting the place is. I'd never been to a place before that's more open with curtains in between stations to separate - thought it would bother me but once I'm on the table, I just relax and settle in as usual. I've been going to Tammy and really like her. The only small downside is that refills take about 1h-1h15min so a little bit longer than preferred but feel like my lashes are getting careful, meticulous attention. Two weeks refills are suggested but with the refill time, find myself stretching out to three weeks which hasn't been terrible. My eyelashes have never looked better! You are in good hands when you come here as they have super experienced technicians. They are great at gauging what type and length you need, and never let you walk out looking like a clown. I regularly go to Nara (she is excellent), but I have walked in a few times and tried other techs. My lashes stay on and look great in between my fills! I usually don't post on yelp, but I had to post a review for Lash Lounge. This was my first time getting lash extensions and I am honestly blown away at how amazing the results are. Tammy was my beautician and she carefully help curate the style that fit me the best--I got the classic package 0.8 with the C curl. The session lasted around 2 hours which is normal and expected and even though I got fidgety near the end, she was extremely patient with me and easy to work with. After she explained how to properly care for my lashes and what to do if certain problems ever arose. The studio was very aesthetic, clean, and all the workers were friendly and helpful--good vibes all around. I will definitely coming back to get more refills in the future. read more

My lash artist was being so mean , miscommunication, give me an attitude , not greatful at all, and she act like she don't want me to be there , That one girl was the senior artist i believe her name is Rola. So I went there and having the worst time ever in my life , it literally so annoying. She act very ungreatful and unprofessional , not even a greeting and act like i gonna scam her . She messed up a lots not even ask me how i feel about everything, and just keep silent. So i was like telling like Oh today me and my bf gonna have dinner at River Oaks what you gonna do. She passed on not even answer me and put on an Airpod the whole time. And just keep silent , and it was so loud that i can even hear what she hearing. Very unprofessional , after this i will think again if i want to comeback you guys business. The whole times that was the worst experience ever in my life. I been to the last lounge 3 times and Kyra was the best one . Personally i would totally want to smash on Rola's face cause she was so mean to me the whole time. But the receiption was so nice and she treat me very nice not Rola she somethings else . I don't like to act like a Karen but with Rola i have to cause she the worst person i ever met in this world. Anyone looking to keep their lashes full on the reg should definitely come try this place out! I went to lash lounge on February 4th to get a curl treatment with tint because although I have long lashes they are extremely straight. I wear contacts and decided to wear my glasses instead that day. When I left I felt confident that everything went right. When I arrive home and put on my contacts I could see this gray tint under my eyes. It was almost like when you don't completely remove your eyeliner or when you are first cleaning off your mascara and it leaves a shadow until you whip it off completely. I also noticed that my right lash was curled but my left was not. I called lash lounge and they asked me to come in the next day so I went. When I arrive the lady tried cleaning off the gray tint with an alcohol smelling cleaning paper. It smelled a lot like the alcohol paper you use to treat a small cut. Then she proceed to curl my lashes again. I didn't think much of it because I figured they were the professionals and if they wanted to curl my lashes again then it should be fine. When she was done I felt a little upset that the gray shadow was still there but happy my lashes were curled. I went home and 3 days later the gray shadow was gone but so we're my beautiful long lashes. I called Lashes Lounge and they were very apologetic. I'm posting this as a warning for everyone that likes having lashes. I now have these very small lashes growing out. I learned later that the recommended is to get this treatment every 6 weeks and they should have mentioned that to me. I have yet to receive a call from the manager. I've only had a conversation with the receptionist. I've learned my lesson and hope you read this and think twice before getting a curl/tint with Lash Lounge. read more

I also had to leave the country and wouldn't return until ONE day after the "full set" charge and they still refused to book it as just a refill despite having hardly any fall out. I should have reviewed The Lash Lounge after my first appointment there a few months ago but I'm not as on-top of these things as I should be. However, I had to stop everything I was doing just now to give them the 5 stars they deserved after my first visit, and to say that if I could give an additional 5 stars I would. I had an appointment this past Monday for a brow lift, threading, and tinting with Rola. She is amazing and makes my brows and natural lashes look the best they've EVER looked, and this is coming from someone who is a casualty of the thin 90s brows and horribly-applied past lash extensions. Rola is truly skilled and knowledgeable, she listens to her clients, and she clearly takes her craft seriously. The Lash Lounge is also a lovely salon, very serene and clean. The young women working in the front are pleasant and offer you tea, coffee, or water when you check in. You don't feel like a number or like they are trying to bait and switch you like in some of the other chain lash places who shall remain nameless. But the reason I had to write this review is because I just received a phone call from The Lash Lounge Memorial (I believe it was from the manager) asking me how I was feeling and to make sure everything is okay with my lashes/brows. She mainly wanted to make sure I was feeling okay because I was so sick when I went in on Monday. I had a wretched sinus infection and was in such a miserable state I barely made it to my appointment (vanity will make us do the craziest things, I know!). The staff was kind and compassionate while I was there but this phone call 2 days later just took it to another level. She even remembered that I'm going out of town on Friday and wished me a good flight. This is the kind of genuine and considerate customer service we just don't see as much as we should and The Lash Lounge is to be commended for it. I am feeling much better physically since Monday but that phone call was the shot of Vitamin K(indness) and Vitamin C(ompassion) you can't find at the pharmacy. Thank you, Lash Lounge. I gave this place two chances. My first visit I got a full set of hybrid lashes applied. They turned out pretty good. I told them I needed sensitive glue and that I like a natural looking lash and preferred mink lashes. My only complaint with the first visit was they used long lashes on the outside corners of my eye which I don't like. But overall I was satisfied and the lashes still looked good two weeks later. Today I went back for a refill... Different stylist and different outcome. I'm pretty sure she didn't use sensitive glue like I asked because my eyes are still stinging. And it looks like she use the same exact length lash all the way across. So my eyelashes look very very fake. And the lashes on the outside corners are super long, which I hate. If you're not going to do what I ask, then why ask me what I want. Bottom line... Overpriced and cookie cutter results. I won't go back. Also I told them I was unhappy today before I left. The only offer they made was to remove the long lashes on the outside corners and to make a note in my file for next time. Too late. There will not be a next time. read more

Went to get a lash lift yesterday and I would say in total 1/4 of my lashes were slightly lifted and the rest remained straight. I've never had an issue before. The Stylist and receptionist were apologetic and nice. They offered a free redo in 4 weeks but that didn't work for me since I only did it for an event this weekend. Since the service wasn't met on their end, I asked for a full refund which the owner denied and did 50% instead. The receptionist relayed this information. The owner did reach out via email once I complained to corporate and she offered a free redo again on top of the 50% refund. The email sounded condescending and if that wasn't the owner's intention then they should really consider calling their customers when there's a complaint like this. read more

Very disappointing. I recently moved to Houston and I was looking for the perfect lash extension. This place was recommended by a friend and after a quick online research I was convinced. I must say they had a great atmosphere , and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. But the final result was the complete opposite. I asked for very natural look , just to add some volume to my lashes . The artist didn't speak English, So one of the staff had to translate my request. The result was the complete opposite, it was extra thick (0.2) and extra long hair ( 12) with extremely fake look . I asked if this can be fixed and she recommended to wait until the refill to start using different type of hair which is thinner ,more natural look and shorter (10 ). I was surprised that this recommendation was not made in advanced . But I'm usually not a complainer and I also blamed myself for not doing more research on the type of hair and length before my session. After few days I start noticing Increased numbers of falling natural lashes (sometimes one lash attached to more than one of the thick fake lashes) , Tangled and discomfort.
