HEATHER horrible Heather !!!!!!!! I've never dealt with a more horrible human being in my life, the poor girls who work there, every girl there hates her, they do not want to work with her. The entire experience is ruined by the Beast HEATHER!!???? Don't worry you have to pay for your entire appointment 7 days before .... That's normal right !!! And I've never been treated so bad in my life by someone in customer service!!!! The customer service means Heather decides to take your money And be extremely rude, I feel bad for the horrid work conditions. DO NOT COME HERE!!!!!!!! WORST TECHNIQUE, HURT MY EYES, BAD RESULTS. NIGHTMARE!!! (First 3 picture: the lash lounge technician; the 4th picture is when I got back to my usual technician) I came here during a work trip. This was absolutely the WORST experience in my entire life. I had been getting my lashes done for 10+ years and never have I gotten this DISAPPOINTED. The first three pictures were the result from a NEWBIE technician (white lady with big glasses) who did not know what she was doing. She firstly stunned my eyes while taking off my old lashes, then did a "volume set" on my eyes. You seriously called this a volume set? NOTHING about this looked like the pictures they provided in the beginning (what's the point confirming with me in the first place)??? What's even more irritating is that they claimed it was my fault for having "short", "less" lashes to begin with. The fourth picture is when I got back to my usual technician (BLAME IT ON YOUR SKILLS NOT MY LASHES). Such TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM THE TEAM AND THE OWENER). To conclude, DO NOT COME HERE. If you don't get what you're expecting then they'll blame it on your natural lashes. Plus they hire people with ZERO techniques and absolutely NOT QUALIFIED for this job. I went back in for them to fix them or money back and they just gave me a coupon for a free lash lift which will never be used since I will never go back there. 0/10 do not go here. I went here because it was close to my house and I decided I wanted lash extensions a week before my trip. I usually only get them done for special occasions and have a person I go to elsewhere that's a bit of a ways away, but she was booked, so I decided to give this place a try being that it was close to home. The person that did my lashes here was not very personable, the only words that she spoke to me were at the beginning asking how I wanted my lashes done- no friendly conversation that a stylist would normally engage in for client retention. Also, I'm not a fan of how they have different "levels" of each lash style. I got the "hybrid - level 1" and when I looked in the mirror when they were done, I was disappointed that it looked like I barely had lashes on after telling the gal that I liked volume and length. The whole point of me getting these was so I didn't have to put mascara on during my vacation. Most places have three or four options for styles, not all of the "levels" to go with the style. I definitely get a fuller look at the other place I've been to when I get their version of hybrids. Needless to say, I won't be coming back here as it's too overpriced for what you get and they try to upsell you on packages, retail, etc. Also, maybe I should have done my research on which lash tech to go to here instead of having them choose one for me, but she may have been new and not as experienced because my lashes have not been comfortable feeling either and I can see where the clumps of extensions were placed far out from the lash root. I'm not one to complain or speak up in the moment, so I just told the lash stylist I was happy with the result and went on my way, but I won't be returning here for future services. I have short, light eyelashes that have very little natural lift to them. I was a little nervous to try out a lift/tint--the one time I had tried a tint before at a different place, it really did nothing and stung a lot. I was going on vacation to a pretty rainy place and decided to splurge and try it out. My first time here was with Regina, and she was wonderful. She put me totally at ease, and I was thrilled with the result. My lashes lasted longer than expected as well. For my next pre-vacation splurge, Kacy was able to fit me in last minute. She did an equally great job, and again, I was really impressed with how long they lasted. I would definitely recommend her. Side note, both times I've been here, at least one other client has been fast asleep. It's a testament to how soothing the atmosphere is that they make a not inherently pleasant procedure so relaxing! :) read more

I wish I could give 0 stars. There are so many things wrong with this place, I would not recommend to anyone ever. They charge way too much and don't even do even close to a good enough job to show for it. I got fed up with price and work so I found a new lash tech, she took one look at my lashes and said: "WTF this looks like my beginner work! The lash lounge people are such scammers! SO many unhappy people have come to me from there." (And apparently the West Bloomfield location is just as bad!) She was also shocked that they charged me an additional $20 for the lash cleanser which she gives to her clients for free. Once she fixed and redid them, not only did it cost WAY less than the initial set, but I could literally feel the difference in the lash quality and it was so so much better. They felt so soft compared to The Trash Lounge who literally stuck plastic on my face!!! read more

Regina and Kaite did a gold job on my lashes, unfortunately Heather, the front desk person, has a huge attitude problem and the worst customer service I have ever received. i have never left a bad review in my life, but I can't believe a salon in Birmingham could offer such horrible customer service. I recently had a very disappointing experience here. I have gone to this location about 4 times. Usually I see Julia (who is amazing!) but she wasn't available last time so I saw another women. Unfortunately, this experience wasn't anything like my previous ones. My lashes were not uniform, went in all different directions and were heavy in certain parts of my eyes and there were gaps in other. After 14 days (when they usually recommend a fill) I had single digit lashes in both eyes and massive gaps (I looked ridiculous!). What was more disappointing than the look of my lashes was the way management handle My disappointment. First and foremost, it took over 48 hours for the manager to call me back. After we connected, she told me that the only way I could get my lashes fixed was to have the same stylist that messed them up do them again. I was told this was the rule because she was "in training" for a full set. This was not something I was notified of as she was certified in the refill, but had I known I would have never let her do my lashes. I challenged this policy and the assistant manager contacted the manager was very clear that they do not back the services provided after 48 hours have passed. I am writing this review not to turn people away, I recommend you see Julia as she is great, but to bring the terrible service I received to the owners attention. I was a loyal customer and would have continued to be but the owners need to find better management before I'll return. read more

Went for a Lash Lift and IT DIDNT WORK AT ALL. Wouldn't recommend especially since they double charged me the deposit and the full service charge and the lash tech told me "This service isn't for you" once she saw that it didn't work. Since then I've gone to Bianchi's just down the street and it worked perfectly so it was definitely the lash tech's fault. read more

I've been here about 4 times now. The first time I came was great, but then it got so bad. After my second visit, my eyelash extensions started falling out immediately. They were all the way gone by 4 days after getting them. The next time I came in, I got a BACTERIAL INFECTION in my eye. I had to go to urgent care and I am still applying ointment to my eye, 9 DAYS LATER. I am still in a great deal of pain and I look like shit. The girls at lash lounge are not trained properly and clearly are not sanitary. I do not recommend this place. ******* it happened almost immediately after I left the lounge, and I don't wear any makeup or use any products other than baby wash and water. Ever since I started going there, I have had eye irritation above my eyelid but it wasn't that bad so I kept coming bc it's cheap. It wasn't until 2 1/2 weeks ago that I got a literal infection.
