I had been a client of Kali's for over a year and was disappointed with my most recent experience…read more I was charged for highlights that I did not receive. I was told the service took the same amount of time, which I understand; however, only one color was added while my existing blonde was left as-is. Although it initially looked fine, once my haircut was completed, all of the blonde was cut out. Given that Kali knew I was also getting a haircut, I expected more of the blonde to be preserved. When I expressed concern, I was told there was no time to correct the issue, so I scheduled a correction with another stylist. When I returned to the salon, the environment felt uncomfortable and awkward. Kali was present but did not acknowledge me, and I was never made aware of who the manager was. Overall, the experience was disappointing, especially as I was always punctual and consistently tipped at least 20%, including for the correction. I could not wait to leave. The total cost was $232 (including tip) for a retouch with no highlights, despite being charged for them, plus $141 for the correction--$373 total. I ultimately left with brunette hair, which was not my expectation. I did go to Salon Adagio for the correction with Olivia, and I was very happy with the results. I hope this helps anyone who is deciding where to book services

Sandy at Amata has been wonderful! I've gone to her twice so far and have loved my experience! The…read morefirst time I went I asked for some length off and for a slightly different style and she nailed it! This last time she added in a few baby highlights to help prep my hair for the wedding that was in a few weeks to give it more texture in photos! And each time she matched my vibes for chit chatting. I absolutely loved the way the highlights looked for the wedding. Highly recommend Sandy!

I have been a client for over a year. She is professional, talented and wants you to have the eyelashes you've always wanted! Whiplash was at first a Groupon find. Maria was my second place I had gone to visit. The first business just didn't seem to need my business. Also,I appreciate her not being on the phone as she applies my eyelashes! I am a client of Tina Schilling. @distinctivehairdesignbytina…read more She joined RK Salon in June but has been a hair stylist for years. She's always trying to stay up to date in trends. Finding someone who knows their way around curls (cutting and coloring curl clumps) is rare and she is fantastic. She gives a great scalp massage during your shampoo which is...WOW! RK Salon is modern and minimalist. Clean sight lines and sparkly chandeliers. All the ladies I encountered where friendly. As I sat to process my color, one who wasn't Tina even checked to see if I needed anything...like a free beverage. I noticed during my visit that there were a few young men (~17-25) coming in for trims. Also young kids too (one mom waited outside, one waited next to the chair). Usually I just see other women so this speaks that the business attracts men and families. I am reviewing during COVID 19. All staff and clients were in masks the entire time. I witness cleaning/ disinfection procedures after I switched between my 3 stations (styling, heater and washing chairs).

As a masculine male who values looking well-groomed, I wanted my nails to be clean and clipped, but also noticeable. I am extremely disappointed with the customer service I received at Love A & B salon today 9/2/2022…read moreand would not recommend this salon to anyone. I called the salon at 3:57PM on 8/30/2022 and confirmed with the receptionist that my unused $200 gift card would be honored for an upcoming service. The receptionist placed me on hold to confirm and stated "Yes, you can absolutely use the gift card for any service, including Botox and injections, at Love A & B." When I got to the register for my service today 9/2/2022, I handed them the $200 gift card to go towards my $500 service. The receptionist stated that they could not honor the unused gift card. I explained the conversation I had with the receptionist on 8/30/2022 and showed them the screenshot of the phone call that occurred and the response from the two staff members was "Sorry, the receptionist that was working at that time on 8/30/2022 is new and hasn't been trained." And "I'm sorry, we know you were expecting to use that $200 gift card." Correct, I was expecting to use my $200 gift card, as that is what the receptionist explicitly told me during the conversation on 8/30/2022. Listen, I understand mistakes happen and have been there. But if an employer has employees mistaking policies, overpromising to customers, and/or failing to train their new hires, that is on them and the business to make it right, not me as the customer. Bad, bad experience here.
