Kisha was working the bar and was very helpful suggesting a drink for us. She asked all the right questions and I selected the hibiscus drink and my husband got the spiced drink (sorry can't remember the names). They were mad with love and perfection. The upstairs of the distillery is uniquely designed and has local art to add to the flavor of the environment. They have the cutest sitting room so you can enjoy your drinks. We purchased a tour and Bruce, the tour guide, added to the atmosphere with his humor and knowledge. During the tour you get to taste all the rums and they are all made with love. You will learn more about it during the tour. The owner, Eric, is also very welcoming and doesn't shy away from his guests. Plus, as an added bonus, the Kooper family is very hospitable, informative, fun to hang out with at the bar, and they offer nice tastings at a great price ($16 for three pours), which allows you to determine which bottle is your favorite. You can't get that experience or that level of service at any liquor store! If you find yourself within an hour of this place, you need to visit!
