We lost our car keys while on vacation at the Eastern shore with my wallet and other things locked inside. Kevin was the closest locksmith we could fine, we called and he said he could be there in about 1.5 hours. Sure enough he called within that time period and arrived. He was the most pleasant and engaging person. He immediately got to the task at hand and opened our car. Along with that my wife and I sat with him and had a wonderful conversation. His charge was reasonable. even though he was able to open our car the keys were not inside so I hade to borrow my daughter-in-law's car and make the 3+ hour drive home to New Jersey to retrieve our spare key (and a metal detector) and drive back down. The metal detector helped because I found our keys in a pile of leaves. If you need a great locksmith give Kevin at the "Key Locksmith Co" a call I assure you you won't be disappointed . read more

We had a broken deadbolt on the door to our sunroom. Called and got an immediate call back from Kevin Kirsch, the owner. This was on a Saturday around 10:30am after trying to remove frozen lock myself. Kevin said he would be out that afternoon. Called at 1:20 said within the hour he would be at our house. Showed up by 2:00 and was able to remove the old frozen deadbolt, replace it with a new deadbolt. Rekeyed the door lock to match the new deadbolt in a very timely, professional and courteous manner. Cleaned the work area and had my wife personally try the locks to see if it met her approval. We both were very happy with Kevin's work. He exceeded our expectations here in lower slower Delaware. Great experience and would highly recommend The Key Locksmith read more

Kevin was a lifesaver when my son locked himself out of the house and he was 3 hours away from us. I called many companies an no one could help. They either had no one in the area, didn't service the area we needed or couldn't get there until evening. After going down the list and calling a half dozen or better numbers, I called The Key Locksmith Company. Kevin answered and said he could help. Not only that, he would be at the location within half an hour. He arrived on time and quickly unlocked the door. It was a very hot day and my son was so grateful. Kevin called me to confirm after completing the task. We were all so happy to have found him. I'd recommend skipping all the other companies that pop up on Google and go straight to Kevin! read more

Kevin installed an electronic deadbolt lock and new handle set on our vacation home in Fenwick and did a fantastic job. Due to scheduling conflicts on my part, I had to re-schedule the appointment on two separate occasions and Kevin was understanding and professional. Installation was quick and the price was reasonable. The electronic lock is a great convenience for family, guests and scheduling maintenance work when I'm not at the beach.
