Called to have my OC condo digital door lock code changed. No problem. They went in and after using the master code did the deed. The price was more than fare. I didn't have time to do I myself as I live in Bel Air, MD. My grandson was there for the previous weekend and the AC quit and rather than take all his time waiting for the AC technician I gave them the code. They fixed the AC but I didn't want everybody at the repair place to have the code. This is not a rental and I want my family to feel comfortable and not worry about an intruder. We have an immobilizer issue with a 2002 Toyota Avalon, A vehicle services team member came out earlier than scheduled, they did call first to make sure it was ok. Even though we were unsuccessful at getting the computers to reset (Toyota doesn't make them this hard anymore) the technician was very thorough and gave it his all for an hour. Prior to arriving at my new home in the area of Ocean Pines, MD, I contacted RJ Lock and Safe to inquire about getting a small safe for my home. After speaking with the person on the phone, who asked me if I already had the safe, I ordered one from Amazon, as I was told that they could install it. I stopped in at their place of business to inquire about getting the small 2 cubic foot safe installed. I was requested to provide the specs from the Amazon site where I had ordered it, and did so. They seemed very helpful and agreed to provide an estimate and a time to install it. The email back and forth with their employee, Michael, seemed perfectly reasonable, both with the price of installation and the timing. The installation was scheduled for this past Monday between 2:00 and 4:00 pm. By 4:30 on the day the installation was scheduled, they still hadn't arrived, hadn't called, hadn't texted or contacted me in any way. I called their office. To my surprise and dismay, there was no work order and therefore no one was coming! The excuse: "I guess I forgot to put in the work order"! Since I really wanted to get this over with we rescheduled for today, Wednesday, between 1:00 and 3:00. I received a call that the installer was on his way. When he arrived, he refused to move the safe to where it was to be installed and told me to get someone else as he thought he was only mounting it. He said "I have a bad back. This isn't going to work. Get someone else." His attitude was rude and belligerent. Needless to say, I WILL get someone else. I have rarely written a review and when I have they have been positive. First I don't really ever do reviews, but honestly the treatment I received was horrible. Our renters were locked out of our unit and needed to make a key. The man answering the phone was quickly frustrated and impatient. He asked me if he could speak to a man. I thought I heard him incorrectly at first, I said I am sorry I didn't hear what you said, and he said never mind. Then when my husband was giving me the model number for the lock he said who are you talking to and I said my husband and he said let me talk to him, so I did. Now I was still looking for the correct key to make sure I gave him the correct code he was asking for while he was talking to my husband. Then I said let me talk to him I found the code he needs and my husband said he hung up. So I tried to call him back and he wouldn't answer. So I did not get my issue resolved with RJ Lock & Security and they treated us very rudely. I would not recommend them at all, I would have given them zero stars if that was possible.
