They are the only independent company local to Berlin, MD, that I found that expertly installs (by their own installers) framed doors. Alumax framed doors are solid, sturdy, and don't rattle against each other like semi-frameless. Company is responsive and informative, from initial contact with multiple product inquiries, to the estimator to the installers. They are tucked away behind a grove of trees and you barely notice the "Charles Brown Glass Co." sign by the road. However, having prior experience getting a shower door from a glass company for another bathroom years ago, and no luck finding any "shower door company" that installs framed doors (to replace the new semi-frameless doors that I bought which I quickly found out do NOT contain water), I checked out Brown's website - SO glad that I did. However the guys still needed a different ladder in order to reach better. They left and said they would return in 30 minutes. 75 minutes later no return so we called the office. They tried to contact the service tech, but no answer. So we're left with a window that is not sealed and we don't have a ladder to reach that area.

We were completing a renovation on our Master Bath Room and wanted to have a glass enclosure and door for the shower area. I hate track slide doors, as they are so hard to keep clean, etc. Cochran Glass worked with us from the very beginning by coming over before demolition of the Master Bath to provide insight and advice on the size of the shower based on how the glass could be installed. Their input helped us to make our final decision making our shower bigger than we were originally planning. They also provided us with key information on when to contact them again to come out for the measurements for a perfect fit and to ensure the glass order would arrive in a timely manner to ensure the renovation would not be delayed. The glass order arrived early and they came out the next day to complete the install. The installation went smoothly with no mess or issues. John informed us about possible adjustments that may be needed after a few weeks and provided key cleaning instructions, etc. They informed us of a current rebate on the glass shield, even though small, it was nice they thought to tell us about it. They provided us all the information we needed to submit the rebate form. A few weeks later, we called Cochran Glass to come out to make a small adjustment on the glass door. They were quick to come over and make the necessary changes. We are extremely happy with the product and working with such great people and company. The hinges weren't installed the same day because of a delay with the delivery. I have called Premier every other week up to June 25 2025. The person who took my message assured me that Frank would call me back. It is now July 5 2025 and I am still waiting for a response. I am very concerned about the shower door falling off the hinges and hurting someone. The problem appears to be either a lack of communication or incompetence.

The gentleman (I assume maybe the son of the owner?) came out, seemed knowledgeable about the EZE system that they seem to refer. I was looking for a more frame free option which he said he had. He was to send me information on this system, but never received. I then called, left two message because no one answered the phone even though there were at least two people there, and no followup response. A week later I stopped by their showroom, and a very standoffish older woman was abrupt and said she would have him call me without even taking my phone number or name. Two weeks later, still dead silence. If this is how they act before the sale, I understand why they have only a 3.3 start rating at best. Taking my business elsewhere!
