Was sat at our table for 10 minutes without being greeted, not busy at all, place was clean, maybe 4 other tables in the building at the time. Table got sat behind us and was immediately greeted. Decided to leave and eat elsewhere and staff seemed to laugh as we walking out. Did not seem to care at all. Very disappointing considering we were trying it for the first time. Two of us got the chicken tenders, one got the grilled cheese and tomato bisque soup, and we got tater kegs appetizer. The chicken tasted like soggy McDonald's nuggets - processed meat that fell apart when you stuck it with a fork. The ... literally all of it was garbage. If you're starving and there's nothing else open, just. Don't. Start a fast. Try anorexia. Eat out of a garbage can. We have been coming to Snowshoe for years and tried this place for the first time this weekend. It is normally really busy but wasn't too crowded when we went so it was nice getting seated quickly. The vibe is relaxed and the menu is pretty much mainly American food staples with some comfort food options as well. Nice beverage menu and we all tried a variety of drinks! I got the beer flight and it was well worth it. We waited a bit for the food and everyone's meals looked good. I got the short ribs and they were yummy. I've never been at an establishment more rude to customers than this one. I understand closing time and employees wanting to go home at a reasonable hour but bad mouthing customers as they leave the establishment and forcing people out of the door leaves a severely bad taste in the mouth. I would call this place one of those take it or leave it places. Definitely not the worst, but definitely not the best if I had to say one of the other, probably more bad than good. Upon arrival we ordered some drinks that took approximately one hour to receive not to mention the cocktail up charge that was assessed on our bill without mention. They were out of a couple of their signature entrées which is understandable, but we ordered their recommended items, including the chicken sandwich. The tomato soup. The barbecue ribs. And the worst part is one of the members in our party. It was their birthday and without mention, they brought out a cookie ice cream dessert and we were charged... Can you believe that? For something we did not even order we just said it was her birthday, which it was by the way she was 30 years old...geeze. To review the food quickly everything was subpar except for the ribs, which I would say we're on par for a regular restaurant that serves ribs. We ordered fries with a majority of our entrées, which were lukewarm at Best. We requested a new batch of fries, which were pretty good, but it did take about 30 minutes to receive. And by the sound of this review so far, you probably would expect a slim packed restaurant, but to be honest there is probably only about four tables inside the establishment upon arrival which explains a lot... The chicken sandwich was dry. It had no mayonnaise had no cheese. They had no ranch dressing and no lubrication I barely could even swallow it was that dry... but most of all I cannot get over the fact that it was somebody's birthday and we got charged for something that we did not order unfortunately that is unexcused and does not deserve a good rating beyond anything else. Another sidenote when we arrived back at home, everyone's stomachs were not feeling good.... I would unfortunately not recommend this place unless you would like a subpar bar food meal with bad service and dry chicken sandwich that you might not be able to swallow. read more

This is one of my favorite restaurants on the mountain, the food is decent. The service has declined over the last few years but that's happened everywhere. We love to come in and get a drink and the hot cookie skillet. The views are spectacular also and the fire pit outside is FANTASTIC. read more

An outstanding tap list and a cool, log cabin ambiance can't make up for the abysmal service and exhausting wait times at this Snowshoe Resort restaurant. After waiting for a table for well over an hour during a visit last January, our party of 4 waited almost a whole other hour for our food to arrive, all while our teens struggled to keep their dying phones connected to the resort's shaky Wi-Fi service. Our entrees were decent, and our server was trying his best, but this place seems to be in desperate need of better management. My advice -- skip it for dinner and come back later for a drink or two at the bar. read more

We have been here several times while on the mountain in the Winter and Fall. It always has a unique ambiance and is clean. I have not had any issues. Sometimes they are short staffed but the staff is always very courteous. The breakfast here today was excellent. Yes, the food took a minute but they had 1 chef and 1 sous chef and it was surprisingly busy. I got the mountaineers breakfast and the bacon was extra crispy just how I asked for it. Home fries cooked perfectly and not even greasy. It was served with texas toast and scrambled eggs. I didn't take photos because I didn't think I would write a review but after I saw how hard everyone was working I think they deserved it. Keep your chins up. Was seated a few minutes before 7:00pm. We were set at the table to the left of the front door in direct view of the hostess stand and the kitchen. After 20 minutes we asked if we had a server. Will said he would take care of us. Will lied. We sat patiently until 8:45. I went and asked if they could check on the status of our order. The guy in a black shirt said " you guys have been here awhile". We were told the kitchen was backed up. After watching people come and go, we were informed that they had no order for our table. With no other comment someone asked if we would want some pie. We had one night on the hill. We had one meal to share with our friends. We missed the evenings entertainment and at crackers in our room. We asked an owner where we should eat up there and they said at home. We should have listened. read more

Our service tonight from Connor and the extended team along with their menu selection under new management has made this the hidden gem on the mountain for dinner. Amazing food and service! For the Snowshoe village, this is about as good as it gets with regard to the food scene. They do have an amazing bar as well with good local beers on draft. We tried the chicken wings, smothered chicken, and the fish and chips. The smothered chicken was superb but the portion size was inadequate. Could've easily eaten two orders. Overall highly recommend this place. Slim Pickens on the mountain so hard to complain or compare too much. read more

We've been eating here for several years when we visit (both winter and summer). We used to really enjoy it. While still good, it seems less than it used to be. The service at our 3 meal times last week was incredibly slow. Breakfast took well over an hour. Some of the food was forgotten and condiments were ignored. The potatoes and eggs were too greasy to eat. Dinner portions were very small (especially for the price). Not sure what's going on, but we missed the more reliable Junction. read more

The service at the bar was great for dinner. There's actually two bars when you enter one on the left and one on the right. I watched football games from the bar and had a great seat! The ambiance was nice - a family-friendly sports bar atmosphere. While I didn't love my old fashioned, my cousin had a tremendous drink that the bartender whipped up. She called it Black Forest Cake. It was delicious. The bartender was sooo nice and has been making cocktails for a long time. You could tell her "bartenders choice" tell her what spirits you like, and I guarantee she could surprise you with something. The person sitting next to me did exactly that and was shocked at how good her brandy inspired coffee drink tasted. The Venison chili was OK, but we did not look the butternut squash soup. read more

We ordered soft pretzels as an appetizer and four meals - chicken piccata, smothered chicken, house salad w chicken, and chicken club. Pretzels came out quick although the little container of cheese was only half way full and you could see it spilled down the side of the serving plate. But the dinners were meh.. Not even one caper on the chicken piccata which was served over rice. I thought it was weird to have rice instead of pasta but I gave it a try. No. My son loved the smothered chicken but the portion was very small. Thumbs up on the salad and club. Server was given two tables while we were waiting for our bill. We waited for over half an hour to pay our bill once we finished eating. Overall, meh. read more

We've eaten here twice during the ski season in 2023 and 2024. No issues with service during lunch or dinner (I have no idea what all of these negative reviews about service are, as we've not experienced it, even when busy). Burgers were huge and delicious, pasta dishes were filling, potato soup was yummy. Also an epic, huge cookie and ice cream for dessert. Stopped in here several times on our ski trip. The design is really nice and has some good views out the windows where you can see skiers preparing to go down the slopes. They have a great bar and the service was great every time. They serve breakfast and have a lunch/dinner menu. Really enjoyed the pretzel appetizer and the cookie dessert (didn't order a full meal here). Great place to stop at while taking a pause from skiing. read more

This restaurant is way over-priced for the quality of the food. The server was nice but a little scattered brained and seemed to struggle with attention to details about the customers' orders. We got the fried green tomatoes for an appetizer. They were not good. The entrees were not much better. We did not finish any of our food and we didn't want a box to take it with us. I wouldn't be so critical but the premium prices should equal quality service and delicious food. On the bright side, the local drafts were good and the outdoor seating made for a nice view of the mountains and all the activities. read more

The restaurant was busy. It's a holiday week. My daughter and I had finished close to 8 runs and we were HANGRY! We were able to get a seat rather quickly. I ordered the veggie burger and my husband ordered wings. 8 wings for $15 is unbelievable when they count a wing tip as part of your 8 and when another one is very undercooked. Sat at the bar for a couple drinks while my friends went skiing. It was a nice and clean bar. Everyone is super friendly even the locals. No way you would come in here and not have a conversation with someone. If Andrew is there ask for him to serve you he has a great personality and know the bar and menu well. They had amazing happy hour deals so def worth the stop. The menu has so much variety and they are some heavy hitters on there if you like beef, pork, and chicken. Every plate I saw brought out went back to the kitchen clean so that say a lot about the food. This is a must try spot if you at the resort. Plenty seating and decent views of the slopes. The staff are very informative and can also help you get around the resort and info about the shops and ares in nearby towns. read more

The Junction is one of only a few places that is doing dine-in seating in the Village, and we happened to be staying right next door so we decided to check it out. The first time we came was on Sunday evening (last game of playoffs too), and we only had to wait about 15 minutes for a table at the bar. We ordered drinks and wings - everything was great and the bartender was super attentive. We came back again a couple days later, and the wait was closer to an hour and a half. We really didn't feel like cooking, so we decided to wait it out back in our room. The host at the front (maybe he is the manager too?) remembered us when we came back and seated us almost immediately so that was great. I got the grilled chicken sandwich and my boyfriend got the bacon burger. Both tasted pretty good and were filling. The prices are also reasonable considering the location. Overall, the staff is doing the best they can with the situation. They were doing their best to limit seating for social distancing (hence, the wait times), everyone was friendly, wearing masks and probably working more hours with less people, so props to them for keeping it going. It's a great spot for a beer after a long day, so just be patient while you're waiting for your table or just get it to go! read more

Made a reservation for 7pm, when we checked in at 7:01, we were told it would be 30-35 minutes. To quote Seinfeld, isn't the point of a reservation the keeping of the reservation? Why were 4 people in front of us with no reservation? We finally got a table in the bar, it's been 1.5 hours and we are still waiting on our food. Could it be worse? Yes, but cmon, this is pretty ridiculous. The poor waitstaff, the restaurant definitely needs new Mgmt. The place is a disaster. Time to start handing out free food. Figure it out guys. SMH. read more
