Coaster, my ass! It's just a loop! Semantics aside, these Larson loops are fairly fun in the extended hangtime and butterflies in the stomach they offer. They're easily found at state and county fairs and the like, though, so if you're looking to maximize your stay at a big time amusement park, Joker here is easily skipped if there's much of a wait. (No offense, Mr. Fleck! Please don't kill me.)
JCC was a walk-on early in the day during my visit to this Six Flags so I gave it a spin. It seemed like our ride op was ending our ride very early, which was peculiar to me, as there was barely anyone waiting. But then she gave us some more juice, and we got a nice long spin cycle. I'm used to this tactic on the Himalya, where the ride op makes the passengers cheer for another boost of speed, and then away we go around and around. But only silence accompanied the false stop here. Must have been one of the Joker's mind games. At any rate it was nice to get a lengthy ride here, especially as I already decided it was a one and done. read more
