I used to give SkyScreamer probably around a 4 -- what the heck, maybe even a 5, but after my motion sickness got pretty bad, I had to downgrade this review to a 3. I would like to fully disclose that this is all a personal review.
SkyScreamer is the tallest ride in the park and is quite a fun one. It's swings 240 feet in the air -- I feel like the slower you go, the scarier it is. But basically, you're up there swinging around at 40 mph, which can be very refreshing on a hot summer day.
Unfortunately, the ride rotates and swings you around for quite a bit and can leave some unwanted dizziness at the end of the ride, which my age is not really friendly about anymore.
This ride does take the title of beating Goliath and Acrophobia as the tallest ride in the park, despite not being exactly a "thrill" ride but the beauty of it is that it allows even a child who may be scared of roller coasters experience some real height.
I would ride it if the queue itself is short, but I don't think it's ever a "MUST RIDE" ride in my opinion. read more
