I'm writing to share a disappointing experience with "The joint Chiropractic" When I signed up for their plan, I was explicitly told by the desk assistant that I could cancel and get a refund after the first month if my lower back pain didn't improve, provided I submitted an X-ray and a doctor's note confirming no bone issues. My pain did not improve after the first month, and I provided the requested documentation, which showed my issue was muscular, not skeletal. However, the regional manager, Kash Hennesy, refused the refund. They stated I was on a "Wellness plan" with a two-month minimum, and that my signed contract overruled the verbal agreement made by their own employee. They insisted on a new doctor's note explicitly stating I "cannot medically continue treatment," which was not what I was initially told was required. This feels like a deceptive practice where their staff provides misleading information to secure sign-ups, and then the company hides behind the contract. My pain didn't get better, I followed their initial instructions for a refund, and they still refused. I would not have enrolled if I had known the true terms. Grateful for Dr J! Had an adjustment done at a diff location and my body didn't take it well. I was in a lot of pain with headaches, muscle weakness, stiff neck and spasms. Dr J took the time to listen and knew what was going on. I was having bad spasms and my muscles were tensing. She took the time to stretch me so my range of motion in neck would increase. Knew exactly where the spasm was at bottom of my head ! Did minimal and gentle adjustments. I walked in with misery level of 10 and walked out a 4. I found more relief as the day went on with Dr J rec of icing neck and epsom salt towel soak. I will be taking the 20min drive in the future vs the 6min location I tried out. read more

I've loved this place until today. I stopped in for my weekly visit and found out that Dr. Goodwin is no longer there. They only had two girls there, and neither of them are able to get the job done as I am a very difficult crack. I was super disappointed and since I don't want to drive to another location due to the traffic where I live. I canceled my membership. Bring Dr. Goodwin back!!! I love the chiropractor that is here most of the time. She helped me identify my problem and I followed her suggestions and although I'm Not 100% better. I do feel like her suggestions and adjustments are helpful. I really dislike when she goes out of town! She definitely deserves the time off but the other "back up chiropractors" are not as helpful. One I went to go see two Saturdays ago I felt as if she did nothing. I told her I still felt stiff and she said she did her job. I felt she was defensive. I never feel that way when. I see the lead Chiropractor. I understand not all chiropractor have the same techniques. What bothered me was her being so defensive. read more

So glad this location opened because there wasn't want anywhere near me when we moved. I used to go to the one in coppell but we moved. This one is super convenient to stop by on the way to work. I go weekly and pay one monthly fee. I love the joint and recommend it to everyone I know that needs a chiro. In and out usually within 5-10 minutes max. Bummer that yelp won't let me add bonus stars! I was able to stay in the area long enough for a second visit. Dr. Cat, ah! If I could tuck her into a storage tote and take her with me, my travels would be perfect. My specific issues were handily addressed. I've had some occipital issues for a long time. I feel that they are resolved and the maladjustment is undone. I'm sleeping better, have much improved neck mobility, less peripheral inflammation in surrounding tissues, and my eye doesn't twitch from the grinding pain. Dr. Cat had some insightful stretching ideas I'm adding to my self care. Lastly: the front desk lady us a rockstar. Check in is fast and friendly. She isn't a heavy handed "up-seller". Joined a month ago. Had issues with lower back, neck and ankles. The chiropractors here are competent, friendly and explain everything. I'm so happy that they are close to my home, plus I have to option to visit other locations, if needed. Results so far: no neck pain or discomfort, minimal lower back pain and ankles are getting better. It will take time for me to be fully aligned again. I called saying I had back pain and needed a last minute adjustment because my normal chiropractor is an hour away. They scheduled me for the next day. I came in and filled out the paperwork and waited 30 min to be seen. Once they saw me they said they can only help people with maintenance and would not be able to see me if I had pain and see another chiropractor I see. Really wish they would have communicated that when I called. This is why I steer clear of chains. read more

My experience was great! The staff was friendly, especially Meleah who greeted me at the front desk. Both chiropractors were there and they seemed to be passionate about what they were doing and they seemed to be enjoying it. The customer service and professionalism was definitely there. This was my first time at this location, I LOVED the location and chiropractors in Addison. I waited about 15-20 minutes before I was even spoken to, then the lady was rude and ignored my presence for about another 5-10 minutes so I walked out. She was by far the most unprofessional, disrespectful, inconsiderate chiropractor I have yet to come across. I will NOT be back to this location.
