Dr. Jesse Nix is AWESOME!! Super personable guy, extremely knowledgeable, and the hands of an angel- I've seriously never had a better adjustment and I've gone to various chiropractors over the course of the last 17 years! He takes the time to explain whatever you're curious about and to work your muscles surrounding the adjusted areas before adjusting which makes a huge difference in how it feels and how long it holds. He walked through my xrays and took the time to answer every question I had and came up with a treatment plan showing me all my payment options (insurance vs cash) and you just don't see people who genuinely care about your experience. I'm sure he could see a million more patients if he didn't take the tome to explain stuff, but he cares about the quality of his care, not just the money. My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Nix for almost a year now. I was hesitant at first because I had never been to a chiropractor before but my neck pain was unbearable so I called and spoke with Misty and she was able to get me in the same day. Dr. Nix is very down to earth and easy to talk to. You can tell he really cares about his patients and will even recommend at home stretching and care. His staff has always made me feel very comfortable and at home even when I've had to bring my kids along with me to my appointments. Sarah and Whitney at the front desk are very friendly and accommodating when it comes to rescheduling or needing to get in for a last minute appointment. I recently received some Trigger Point Injections from Maria for my wrist and it was a total game changer! Definitely doing that again! Just about a year ago, I wrenched my already tender problem back, that had bothered me for years, so bad I couldn't get out of bed. A Hospital visit with shots and medication later, I decided to do something proactive so that I wouldn't have to have this kind of pain again. So I gingerly limped into Dr. Nix's office - one year later, with adjustments and taking his advise on stretching and exercise I can say that I'm pain free. Dr. Nix takes time with you and you feel like his closest friend when you are being consulted. His staff is incredible and friendly. I used to live in TX and my daughter hooked me up with Dr. Nix. Talk about good care! I was very hesitant to see a chiropractor but have never regretted it since 2019. Every time I come to TX I try to get in for an adjustment. I love this place because there is a culture of smiles greeting you, wanting to know the whole person, and true unadulterated care for each patient. I have been diagnosed with reverse S curve scoliosis since I was in middle school. It causes pain if I stand too long, work out, sit too long, walk, basically anything against gravity... not to mention the "Hump back" I've had since high school. When My wife and I moved to Ownsby farms, I noticed the TELOS chiropractic sign, during one of our grocery trips... I started going to Doctor Nix about 6 months ago and I was not sure what to expect. From walking in the door and meeting Missy who is awesome, friendly and loves to hear about your day to Doctor Nix who takes his time and explains everything to you. They both are amazing people and have a great practice. I have seen a huge improvement in my mobility as well as being able to work out harder and longer. Never thought I would be able to get back to this style of workout and intensity. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Nix and his practice. Dr. Nix is awesome, he takes his time and addresses all of your issues. You don't just go in for a rack and crack he is really trying to help people. The fact that he was a Marine Recon is a bonus, I like to support other veterans in their businesses. I've been using Telos and Dr. Jesse for years. I've had lower back pain for years and herniate my disc multiple times a year before seeing Jesse. Since seeing him everything has changed. I rarely ever have any back pain and if I do it is minimal. i first came to home because I had really bad sciatic nerve pain and he got me better in a few days. Dr. Nix and all staff have been great. Very nice and very helpful. When doing my initial visit and scans, Dr. Nix actually found a brain tumor that none of my other doctors had ever seen. Thanks to him, I was able to get that issue managed and under control. 2 years later, and I am now a regular patient.
