From the first phone call interaction, to stepping inside the office and being presented a clean and visually stimulating space, to the actual appointment and getting to meet Dr. James, Jonny, and Jenny. Dr. Nguyen is extremely knowledgeable and skilled, and it really shows in his level of care. I was in an accident back in November and I've never experienced such a rapid recovery as I did going to his practice. Align chiropractic is POPPIN! Literally! I was suggested to see Dr. Nguyen for cupping, acupuncture and a full-body adjustment. I visited Texas for a week and had done all three in one day to fit into my vacation itinerary. And needless to say that the services done was everything that my body needed and since then I had been sleeping like a baby in the first stage of pregnancy! This was my first time receiving acupuncture and cupping. Acupuncture wasn't as painful as I thought it would be. I'm still frightened of needles but I was able to muster up the courage to take a STAB AT It and envision that I was some magical unicorn with that one needle sticking in my forehead. Cupping still makes ur back look like it has elephant pimples - but the procedures do not feel an ounce uncomfortable as it appears. I have minor back problems and see a chiropractor regularly back at home. The chiropractor that I have in my hometown is fabulous; but I enjoyed receiving adjustment from Dr. Nguyen as he adjusted everything quickly as well as every part of my body (something that my chiropractor never have done for me.) Prior to receiving adjustment, I warned the doctor that I have a mild scoliosis and he located the problem areas swiftly and adjusted them accordingly. Dr. Nguyen is efficient, fun to converse with, and has excellent beside manner. His receptionists Haila and Daleena are also both helpful and polite. I've visited over 30 different chiropractors in my lifetime. Some are very close friends. Dr. James Nguyen is the very best chiropractor I've ever visited. Dr Nguyen was very professional, he took his time to properly diagnose me, he then came up with a game plan which was catered to my issues and everyday lifestyle. He was also very great at explaining himself. I was very comfortable from the moment I walked in. I came in with Neck pains and upper back pains. I left out of there feeling like a million bucks. Search no longer!!! I can't even begin to say enough about how excellent my visit with Dr. Nguyen was!! His office staff went above and beyond fitting me in to be seen as soon as possible. Dr. Nguyen's assessment was extremely thorough, probably even better than most family doctors I've been to. I never felt rushed or pressured. Absolutely everything was explained to me in an appropriate manner. My pain was greatly alleviated after my adjustment, acupuncture, and cupping that he performed. Did a fair amount of research looking for a Chiropractor and Acupuncturist in Frisco, or fairly close. I found good reviews for Dr. Nguyen and made an appointment with him. I am Extremely Pleased and could not ask for anyone better to tackle some of the health problems I am having.... He literally, with one treatment, took away the majority of the hip pain I was having in both hips. I know I throw a lot at him, I have a lot of physical issues, but he never seems to tire of what I throw at him. His staff is lovely and his office is very clean and serene. I actually had a really awful experience here a couple years ago. While the staff was very nice, I found Dr Nguyen to be condescending and unsympathetic. He body shamed me for being overweight- he said my problem wasn't menopause, rather I needed to focus on "pushing myself away from the kitchen table." I honestly should have left at that point . . . The acupuncture experience was dreadful. My nerves twitched as I felt he was rushing through it. He became annoyed and said if I didn't stop twitching I could end up paralyzed. And then he told me I was uptight and didn't know how to relax . . . I wish I had said something then but I didn't. Obviously, the guy had preconceived ideas about me before even getting to know me. Maybe he has something against chubby middle aged women? I don't know , but I certainly would not recommend this practice. . .It has actually been 3 years since my visit. My experience here actually has haunted me. I'm currently having chronic back pain but have been reluctant in seeking professional help. I believe my hesitation is linked to this experience, which led me to finally speak up and share my story. read more
