Had my first appointment with Naeem. I called and was able to get in same day. Not sure if this is typical or just coincide/timing for a Wednesday. I was promptly greeted by Naeem and led to a nice little room located to the back left. He asked me why I was here and what I was being seen for. I unfortunately, due to stress from work suffer from occipital neuralgia and very tense shoulder muscles and migraines. I was experiencing a zing in my right ear aka a pinched nerve and being relatively new to Dallas and missing my former long time acupuncturist- I was cautiously optimistic and hoping that Naeem would be legit and that I would find some relief. My body was a disaster - and pain filled every day. Desperately, I made the appointment and next day drove an hour+ to get there. When I walked through the door I felt a huge sigh of relief. Trepidation gone. A kind and quiet man greeted me with a smile. He asked questions and we talked a bit. I laid down on the comfy table, heat lamp at my feet, eyes closed as he spoke quietly - and even before the last needle (so tiny I barely felt them) I was on my way to total relaxation. Dr. Naeem has been treating me for years. I have degenerative discs (diagnosed in 2006) and have had neck and back issues for years, as a result. After many years of injections and ultimately having a fusion of C5/C6/C7 in 2015, I was ok for a few years but eventually started to experience numbness and tingling in my left arm and decided to try acupuncture for it. I have suffered severe shoulder pain for several years, I also hate anything to do with needles I met Dr. Naeem a few years ago at a Frisco health fair. This is a true testimonial: I had a MRI and was diagnosed with a tear in my L4,L5 disk. My doctor recommended injections which helped for the first couple of rounds. My friend recommended acupuncture and TCM for an awful cold sore I had show up a week before my best friends wedding. In the past, they've last me 3 weeks so I knew I was doomed. I have been seeing Dr. Naeem for well over a year, when a friend recommended him. (Dr. Naeem helped my friend with knee pain and allergies.) He is the first acupuncturist I have seen so I can't really compare him to other acupuncturists, but I can tell you that he has helped me with many different health issues. My main complaint was nagging back pain, which had improved over the years with physical conditioning but was still an annoyance. Within a few weeks Dr. Naeem was able to treat the back pain to the point that I didn't even give my back a thought during the day. Now I go back periodically when I do something in the gym to aggravate it. Now after one treatment the issue is resolved. As a bonus, I always leave Dr. Naeem's office feeling much more relaxed than I did when I walked in the door. I had no idea acupuncture could be so effective in relieving stress, but it is. It also helps that Dr. Naeem's personality is very kind and calming. When I feel myself getting sick with flu-like symptoms or a head cold I call Dr. Naeem before I call my primary care doctor. I'm all for treating what I can with acupuncture instead of antibiotics and other drugs that may or may not help. The biggest accomplishment I've witnessed with Dr. Naeem is the amazing help he has provided to my father, who lost most of his hand as a result of a gun shot wound. Naeem is fantastic. I've been seeing him for over two months to treat severe hormonal acne and some chronic inflammation in my hip that has caused issues for my lower back and hamstring. We're still working through things, but the range of motion in both my hip and back has increased dramatically, and the pain in my lower is almost entirely gone. Regarding my acne, it is much, MUCH better. The problem area he initially treated is even less inflamed than when I was using antibiotics to control the acne. Been going to Naeem on and off for the past few years. I checked the reviews and first went to him when I had Sciatica. I tried prescriptions and chiro for it and after months, nothing worked. After 5 treatments this pain I had for months was gone. Had other back problems about 1 year later and again, they were gone after 4 visits. Latest treatment was because of a car accident I had. Both of my wrists were messed up and prescription were not working. Dr.Naeem is wonderful, and talented also! He has treated a chronic myofascial pain issue for me, one which I have had for 6+ years. Previously, I have had back injections, numerous medications which included narcotics, antidepressants, muscle relaxants and anticonvulsants. WOW! Dr Naeem is amazing! I went to see him after 8 years of sharp chest pains. For this I saw a lot of doctors, multiple xrays and what not. Only to be told that the shooting needle pain is most likely a nerve issue and I should avoid wearing a wired bra. Of course the pain was still there years later and getting worse.
