First visit always is the best visit. Some locations will offer better treatments. I had my membership for $89 a month for 4 visits a month. Not sure if the membership was worth it because after the first few visits, I stared to feel like my body doesn't need 4 adjustments a month. This has to be the worst joint in the area now. It used to be great when Dr. Dan was there. Now it's completely awful. No bedside manners from the doctors and they always push my boundaries (I don't like my neck adjusted) it's in my chart noted and they still ASK every time and then push on me on the topic. The front desk is always nice and warm but they need to get rid of these doctors and find better ones again- until then, I won't be back. read more

They always check in with me to see how I'm doing and what my chiro needs are that day. They also get to know me as a person which is awesome. I always leave pain-free and happy! This is actually for both the Albion Location and S. Colorado location. WHAT happened to this business. I had been a client off and on for years. I re - enrolled after I hurt my back. Boy, they do the hard sell on the monthly enrollment but when you try to end the monthly commitment, their fake eager effort is nowhere to be found. I tried to put in my notice two months ago because I hadn't been needing/using the service. I asked if there was something I needed to sign. I was told by the front desk at Albion that "they'd do it for me". Then when I called because they kept charging me, they said I needed to fill out paperwork. I then went in to the South Colorado location because I was out that way. I asked to fill out the paperwork then go ahead and get a treatment (since I was tricked into paying for them). I didn't say anything to the very rude women at the front desk who was making very inappropriate comments to the other clients something really flippant about being pissed off she hadn't seen the guys wife in a while. I thought that was unprofessional. I quietly filled out my paperwork, but since I was leaving the service ...to just be responsible and save the money, since I hadn't been using my services, she seemed to get punitive. 5 people walked in after me, even though I had been waiting. One by one, she got them seen before me, even though their system is first come, first serve walk-in. She did this glaring at me the entire time. I found this so annoying, I just walked out. Avoid this lame chain. The practitioners are okay, it's very basic...but their management is clearly cracked. They are just after the bottom dollar and not at all into client care, and frankly, their hiring practices for front desk staff are highly questionable. With the mouth on this person, I doubt I'm the only one to complain. read more

I really like Dr. Foss and Dr. Rowland, however the front desk staff leaves little to be desired.. one was outside on a phone call and couldn't even check me in, one didn't even know which doctor was working.. might want to learn the names, the one today had to bring her partner to work- I don't care if it's 2 men, women, one of each- it's unprofessional to sit and talk to each other instead of the patients.. I had to sit and listen to personal stories and watch them fawn over each other.. again- it's a place of business and that's unprofessional.. also, teach these people how to dress appropriately.. so disappointed.. read more

I went in for a work related injury in my right shoulder. I had been experiencing deep pain for a few weeks now, and I had been referred to a chiropractor. I checked this place out, thinking it would be good because of some of the reviews I had seen prior. The front desk woman was very kind and informative, she helped me out a lot with the paperwork. I then saw the doctor. He seemed very out of breath and nervous, almost rushing through our consultation. Like I said earlier, I came in for my shoulder. He ended up cracking my back the way that I usually do it, so it was nothing new. He barely even touched my shoulder, and when he did it was very minimal and not helpful. I ended up paying and leaving with my shoulder in an even worse condition. The consultation didn't last more than 5 minutes. I would not recommend going to this place. read more

After passing by numerous of times and seeing the $29 first consultation/adjustment.... and having trouble walking because of my lower back... it was time for me to go in and see what this place was all about. This was ONE year ago. And here I am still going because they have helped through my wellness journey! The staff has always been great.... front desk people = Awesome (always smiling) .... and the doctors = Awesome (always willing to help!). There have been numerous chiropractors here, and every single one (regardless of their different styles of adjusting), I have always gone home feeling better than when I walked in. The questionnaire they have you fill out takes time, but they are thorough. They don't take X-rays or use any machinery to look at your spine. It is up to you as the patient to make sure you say everything about your health and the pains and ailments. They will cater to your needs and make sure that you are taken care of! Prior to this, I've gone to a chiropractor before (probably over 10 years ago) been in car accident, and got X-rays and exams done. I have my old paperwork from these places and they coincided with the work that needed to be done (ailments and misalignments). These people are amazing!!!! Previous reviewers have mentioned about the sitting chairs in the front area. You don't have to sit there, you can sit in the back area...or do what I do, and sit on the edge of the seat for better posture. The wait has never been super long. Weekends can get busy... depending if there are new patients checking the place out. But it's a doable wait. Plus you got Marshall's and Starbucks a walk over if you need to pass the time. If you are ever wondering whether this is a place to go please do. I had headaches and lower back pain (which I never used to have before, but had manifested 2 months before my first adjustment)... but now I just go as a way to maintain my health and wellness. I take the adjustments much better now... and along with exercise and using ways to relax (yoga, meditation, breathing, etc). I also sleep better! It might take time to get to the point of adding all this stuff... but your body will thank you when your spine is better. I am on the wellness plan of $65 a month. No need for insurance. 65 bucks a month is well worth it. I'm a stay at home mom with three kiddos... trust me, the four visits a month help tremendously! I don't know what I'd do without The Joint! There a several locations that you can go to... this one is closer to home for me. They are consistent... and I have had all three different doctors (along with any visiting ones). They are quick to adjust, but if you are like me, and like to chat, they do that too. I always ask questions about how I can supplement my adjustments, whether it be stretching, eating, exercise, etc. If you want the best service, be appreciative and ask questions. I have been a patient at The Joint at University Hills (Colorado and Yale) for the past year. Being able to get regular maintenance adjustments has made my quality of life so much better. I absolutely love the convenience of the location and the times available. This location has done an excellent job adapting to make patients and staff safe as we all learn to live with COVID. Even with the new appointment requirements, I have only had to wait until the next day to get in for an adjustment. tl;dr - they denied me chiropractic care. I was advised by regular chiropractor that often travels to get a manual chiropractic adjustment to relieve me of my persistent lower back pain. I did some research and found that this location was close to my work and was offering a new patient deal. I decided to check it out and stopped by after work. They asked if I was new, if I've received chiropractic care before, and if I'd be willing to switch to their chiropractor. "yes," "yes," "no." They popped back, conferred with someone, returned and said they couldn't help me. That was the first time I've ever been denied care. I was in such pain that I decided to drive back home and look for chiropractors on the way. I found another, stopped in and they didn't have any room and the main doctor was vacationing the next day. They recommended that I check out the nearby Joint, the one I just visited. They were astounded that I was denied care. I've been going to various Joint locations for about three years and have never once been disappointed. This location is no exception - Cassi, Nathan, Adam, Rebecca, Oakley, and Mary at the front desk have all consistently provided top-notch quality care and expertise for whatever ache, creak, or impingement my active lifestyle can conjure up for them. For example, after straining a psoas muscle deadlifting at the gym a few months back, and finding no respite with stretching exercises or muscle relaxants, Cassi was able to diagnose the issue and correct the imbalance in 5 minutes, allowing me to get back in the gym within hours of the adjustment as if nothing had ever happened. Recurring shoulder issues stemming from beer league softball? Cakewalk for Oakley and Nathan, who had me back on the field throwing frozen ropes after two visits. Chiropractic is often unfairly maligned as pseudoscience or quackery, but from firsthand experience, I can tell ya'll that these guys are great. Highly recommended for anyone - athlete or otherwise - looking to improve range of motion, posture, and overall sense of well-being for half the price of what you'd pay to see a private DC. I've been coming here for about a year now and everytime I come I feel totally adjusted and refreshed. I play golf about 3 to 4 times a week so I need it to keep loose. As someone who suffers from back pain and hip pain on and off this place is a great option. There isn't any pressure to purchase a plan but they recommend certain plans that would fit bet for your condition and what your going through.
