Since moving here from San Francisco in October, I've been looking for a good chiropractor to replace the amazing one that I had in SF. I have definitely found one on Dr. Grant McDonough! He worked through my scheduling issues and saw me at a time that was super convenient for me. He was nice and personable, and extremely knowledgeable. It was the first time I've ever been to a chiropractor that was a man (my former dr. was a woman) and he made me extremely comfortable the entire time. He made the adjustments that were necessary and I've felt great ever since. The rates are INCREDIBLY reasonable. The parking is easy, and the building wasn't hard to find either. read more

Dr. T is the best, hand-down, no questions asked! Since moving to Denver over a year and half ago, I tried, and tried, and tried again to find a good chiropractor. Among the many visits to chiropractors, Dr. T was the only one who didn't rush me through the door, took time to actually talk to me and get to know me, AND fixed my back so I was pain-free for months. I can't stand chiropractors who put me on a 'plan' and herd me through their office like a lost sheep - Hi! I'm a human and paying you a lot of money, so can you at least pretend you care about me, at least a little? Dr. T did no such thing, but rather treated me with respect and was generally concerned about my well-being. I knew he was my man when he said, "You know your body better than anyone else, and you'll know when you need to see me again." I don't regularly go to see a chiropractor but every once in a while due to an injury or just working out a little too much (Tai Chi, yoga, swimming, and kickboxing in one day?! lol) I need a quick fix. Dr. Turnbull is friendly, easy to talk to and very willing and able to explain clearly and concisely what is going on with your treatment. I don't hand out 5 stars often; in fact, I think this is my first. I am in a great mood today because my back no longer hurts all day, every day. I owe this to the people at Activa. I have been going regularly for a month and the improvement is drastic - it wasn't overnight, and the onus of doing the exercises regularly is on me. That said, Dr. Turnbull, Raquel, and James have taken good care of me and I am grateful that I found them. In the past several years, I feel like I've had one problem area after another. I originally sought treatment for a stiff/sore neck which improved quickly after treatment with Dr. Turnbull. I then started getting treated for my right hip impingement and we also worked on loosening up my right ankle (very stiff from old injuries). I feel like the hands-on treatment has been very helpful, and although nothing will cure my hip, I do feel like there is substantial improvement. You will never feel pressure to schedule a certain number of appointments, purchase products etc. This is different from the majority of Chiropractic practices. Had to update this review as I've been seeing Raquel for massage therapy as well as Dr. T. First of all, Raquel is awesome. So happy to have her in the same building I work in. What a joy to end the day under her care. Always pleasant and very nice to talk to. The most important part -- her hands are amazing! She will find every knot you forgot about and can definitely make you squirm (in the best way possible). I do enjoy pain, so when I ask her to crank it up a notch she delivers! She has helped with my TMJ and lower back pain from car accidents in the past. She also found some ancient damage in my neck from a slip over 10 years ago, and after I see her I feel better than ever. She also carries Apothecanna lotions to help you heal in the most natural way possible. She is booked pretty solid, so be sure to schedule an appointment in advance. This place is amazing! I messed up my lower back to the point of anything I did caused severe pain. I read a couple reviews about this place and decided that this hopefully is the place that can fix me. The place is great, they fit me in the next day to see what they can to help me out. After the first session it was obvious that my construction background beat up my back and I needed help fast. They fit me in and made it a goal to get me all good so I could get back to work. I have never yelp anything but I had to about this place. They have my vote for being awesome! read more

Activa 360 is great. I've had issues in the past with back and neck pain, nothing too serious, but I could never seem to find a chiropractor to get it right. I've had a couple of trips to see Dr. Turnbull finally someone has gotten me straightened out (no pun intended!). If you need a chiro, you should definitely go see Activa 360. read more

I have suffered from low back pain since I was a teenager. Before being treated by him, I would routinely miss days of work due to the pain. It has been eight years and I haven't missed a day of work since! Dr. Turnbull uses a combination of soft tissue work, adjustments, and rehabilitation exercises. Periodically, my lower back has pain and Dr. Turnbull is the man. He not only works me in when I need him most, he gives me exercises to do at home to alleviate the pain and strengthen my back. Yes, Dr. T is chiropractor extraordinaire, but he is so much more. He stays well connected to the medical field and continually grows his working knowledge in order to provide patients with the best and most informed care. When it comes to my health, I'm always asking questions about the "why's" and "how's" and have yet to stump him. I've been seeing him since I moved here six years ago and am a healthy and active person. But I sit in front of a computer most days, so I find myself needing a maintenance adjustment every month or two.
