Dr. Freeman is absolutely incredible! Which, says a lot coming from someone who has never had a particularly good experience with chiropractors. Her charm, enthusiasm, and knowledgeable and holistic approach won me over, though, and I decided to give her practice a whirl. My initial visit took almost an hour and a half. She's extremely thorough... She first goes over everything on your intake form, and then chats with you about your life, physical activity and general overall health. Before she starts with the adjustments, she'll give you a full head-to-toe assessment - making note of any areas that might need specific attention. For me it was: my hips (one was more forward than the other), my left leg (my foot turned inwards) and my shoulders (one sat higher than the other). She then starts her treatment, all the while paying super close attention to your entire body. She first put me into traction, so as to better align my spine, then cupped and warmed my back to loosen up the tension in the muscles, and then finally adjusted every part of my spine, hips, neck, and feet that needed to be adjusted. Her work ended with another traction on my neck (because, well, it's "pissy"). At the end of my very first session, my entire body was aligned and in perfect anatomical position. When I went back for my second appointment a week later, she started asking questions about how I was feeling. We quickly realized that I hadn't suffered from allergies, sleeplessness or headaches in the week following my initial visit with her. And, oh. my. GOD. was that an amazing realization!! I should preface by saying that I hadn't been paying close attention to how I was feeling, because I was so busy with school and work that week. But, the most awesome part was that my body was able to keep up with me through all of it and never complained! Not once! I'm seeing Dr. Freeman for general and overall wellness and she's an absolute keeper. I have been going to Ashley for upwards of two years and can say time has definitely flown by! The number one reason I have stuck with Ashley is her ability to give a AHHHH-MAZING massage! There are times when I want to scream and run as far away from the table as possible, but that is what you get with a sports massage. As active as I am, getting regular body maintenance is a necessity. Having a background in sports medicine, Ashley knows the body inside and out, and knows exactly what I need every time I go into her. She has this uncanny ability to magically hit every single knot and tight spot with one touch. There may be times when I am hating her on the table, but love her every second thereafter when I am finished with the massage. I am not only relaxed and knot-free, but able to continue on in my active lifestyle without worry. I appreciate her attention to detail and know that when I leave, I will be fixed and as good as new. I moved to Denver two years ago and have been to three Chiropractors, looking for one that I'm comfortable with and a Chiropractor who doesn't stick to their "standard" adjustment. Nichole not only gives a fantastic adjustment, but she works the muscles so they hold your adjustment longer. I do not write Yelp reviews very often. I had such a great experience I felt inclined to write a review. I was in town visiting from Minneapolis. Got altitude sickness the second day being here. Spent the next two days in agony. Cold sweats, shortness of breathe, headaches, loss of appetite etc. I figured a massage might help ease my mental instability and help calm me down a bit. I went in expecting a massage. They sat me down. Talked with me extensively about my ailments and what was bothering me in my body. They were very thorough and seemed to genuinely care about making me feel better. That alone was worth every penny I spent. They told me that based on my symptoms that acupuncture along with my massage would be the most beneficial. I walked out of there 2.5 hours later feeling refreshed as I ever have in my life. Dr. Nichole just literally made me walk upright again. I've always been afraid to come to the chiropractor but reached out to Dr. Freeman from Fusion Chiropractic & Wellness after a car accident recently. Dr. Freeman is amazing. I did not expect her to be as thorough as she was. I originally saw her for neck/shoulder issues and I briefly mentioned to her that I struggled with sleeping issues. It's taken me awhile to finally sit down and write this post. Honestly, it's just because I'm having a tough time doing Dr. Freeman justice. She needs a different title; "chiropractor" just doesn't cut it. I've been to chiropractors and she's just not like the rest of them. For the 30 minutes to an hour that she's with me in the room, healing me is her project. She cares so little about the money (you can tell that by her prices) and so much about your success, you can feel it right away. She uses so many different techniques, which is something I always respect in practitioners. She does cupping (which is just totally magical and incredibly effective), some trigger point massage, some stretching, some heat, and other things that I couldn't name without describing them in detail. When I walk in the door, she takes in the whole me. It's not about my shoulders hurting so she quickly adjusts my shoulders and sends me out the door. I get the feeling that she doesn't want me to leave that office until she's sure I'm taken care of from head to toe, and that the adjustment is going to last longer than the next morning. That's why she spends so much time with her clients; she does a lot of prep work to warm the muscles up before doing the adjustment and often uses other techniques after the adjustment to help everything stay in place as long as possible. All of these techniques and all her dedication is what makes her exceptional. It also happens to be what makes me feel so totally amazing after my appointment. On a physical level, my pain is always significantly diminished. She won't let me leave the room until my neck has full range of motion again and my shoulders have calmed down. I had a problem with my wrist once that lasted over a week (which was concerning since I'm a yoga teacher) and after my adjustment it was gone, completely gone in one attempt. Since she dedicates so much time to my appointment, she uses tractions and other things to adjust my hips as well (even though I have no pain there) so when I leave, I feel fresh all over. I feel like I walk differently, like there's even weight in both of my feet. I can breathe easier and slower. My energy level is much better for numerous days afterward and for you fellow yogis out there, my meditation is improved tremendously. I am able to focus and feel a really balanced movement of energy throughout my whole body. I've started going once a week whether or not I feel pain. It's worth every cent to experience all of that. I have a deep respect for Dr. Freeman. She's really a gift; she's incredibly brilliant at what she does and she happens to also be a really wonderful person. Dr. Nichole aka "the fix it doctor" as I like to call her, has healing hands and has been a huge part of my recovery. Prior to seeing Dr. Nichole I had almost zero mobility, pain levels spiking to 10+ and was on multiple prescription pain killers. Life sucked living with herniated and bulging discs. Then a friend introduced me to Dr. Nichole's services and I have never felt better. Within a few weeks my pain level was under control (no more pills) and I was beginning to get back my mobility. I just had my first massage with Autumn, and I am thoroughly impressed with her work. I saw her for a 90 minute full body massage. I have a few problem areas that have been bothering me recently, namely my neck, shoulders, and jaw, and Autumn really took the time to focus on those problem spots during my massage. Autumn is a great communicator, asking for feedback and making sure her pressure was working for me throughout. I generally prefer my massages to incorporate deep tissue massage, and Autumn definitely delivered. She used some techniques that were new to me, but were highly beneficial for those problem spots. So, good news and bad news. The good news is that my shoulder had been locked up for ten years and Dr. Freeman fixed it completely in one session. The bad news is that now that my shoulder isn't bothering me constantly I realized how much of the rest of my body is screwed up.
