This has happened to me twice with the wellness group one recently and one a couple years ago, probably why it took me a few years to go back. Made an appointment the day before l, received a confirmation text the morning of my appointment, only to have them call and cancel 30 minutes prior to my appointment. There are probably more reliable providers in the area! This place is truly a hidden gem. I called for a walk in two weeks ago after a very long work week. The receptionist was able to squeeze me in with no notice. I booked a 60 minute massage but ended up getting a 90+ minute session. The therapist was so professional and talented that I barely had to provide any instruction; she found all the tension points and did a great job. I left feeling so much better that I enrolled in the monthly membership program which is definitely an underrated deal. Be very wary. I was told I could carry over massages month to month. I have significant medical issues. In spite of this, I admit I hadn't read the fine print. Now I paid months of "membership fees" only to discover that I couldn't bank the massages. This is the opposite of what a massage studio should be doing to people. I'm glad I found out before I'd wasted any more money. I only wish they'd do the right thing and refund me the two months I hadn't used. Hands down the best massage place I have ever encountered. The therapists are all so skilled, experienced and caring. The front desk and office personnel are friendly, professional and on top of things. You usually need to book in advance because they are all so good and have such a loyal following, so the schedule gets full but it is worth it. And even though it is above Whole Foods, you never hear the store. And, it is pretty convenient to pick up a few things once you are blissed out from the treatment. read more

I started going to the wellness center about a year ago. The front desk is always so polite and pleasant. I have seen about 5-6 different therapist and all were amazing. However, I have recently been able to see Rosemary. And my. Goodness. That woman is magic. I will now book out regularly to make sure I can see Rose. This might sound ridiculous bc it truly has never happened to me any where else I've gone for massages, but MULTIPLE times I've felt like I am so relaxed I'm floating. It's crazy. Well, that was interesting... The business itself is small and nice, but doesn't offer a spa-like experience. No drinks were offered, no robes, etc., just a small waiting room like the dentist office. My therapist walked in the front door a few minutes after I got there in super casual street clothes and immediately took me back. At this point, I'm thinking alright, this is a super laidback place, but I bet it's one of those hidden treasures! Well as the massage began, my therapist asked me the typical "how was your day" small talk, which was nice. But then they didn't stop talking.. Although they were a very nice person, it was definitely not what I expected or what I have experienced before. Then, they began to refer to massage as torture, which they mentioned several times throughout the hour and a half. It was a little weird. Then, their phone began to go off several times throughout the massage. However, instead of being worried about silencing their phone, they were more concerned about changing the music, half way through the massage, from relaxing spa melodies to an eclectic guitar solo that sounded like a strange mix of classic rock, techno and interpretive jazz? With all this said, the massage itself was great! I asked for super firm pressure, and they kept their elbow in my back the entire time. However, for the $200 price tag, I was definitely expecting more. If you're looking for a strong massage 10/10 recommend. If your looking for a strong massage and a relaxing "treat yourself" experience, I'd check availability elsewhere. Update: The manager reached out to me the very next day following this post. She was extremely polite and validated my point of view while explaining theirs. I very much appreciate a company that is communicative with their customers, even if they disagree. We (my Husband and I) LOVE the Wellness Center. I see Samantha and my Husband sees Ringo (his Guru as he calls him... and my Husband is a tattoo'd Cowboy). Samantha does great work, and is a total professional. She is amazing at pinpointing where and why my issue is occuring, and empowers me with knowledge and exercises to work on it at home. My doctor recommended back massages for the soreness/pain I've been having in my lower back. She specifically recommended that I see Bill at The Wellness Center. I'm so glad she did. The business is very well run, and Bill is an excellent masseuse. Making and changing appointments has been easy, and the center has a really nice, relaxing vibe (and you can do a shop at Whole Foods on your way home!). Bill is super knowledge about how the body--skeletal and muscular systems--works, takes time to talk about what's going on with the client's body, and then provides a massage that has an overall body component and also is specific to my aches and pains. The bottom line is that the massages have been helpful for my back pain. I'm now in my fourth month of treatments (once a month) and plan to continue. Wow what an amazing experience here. I came here on a whim while trying to kill some time. I popped in right after they opened thinking I probably didn't have a good chance of getting in last minute. The receptionist was incredibly friendly and was able to get me in within 30 minutes. They had a nice setup in the waiting area with tea and a comfortable sitting area that made the waiting time go by quickly. I got an hour massage with one of their female massage therapist. She was absolutely phenomenal. After starting my new job I have had bad back and neck pain from working long shifts on my feet. She was incredibly attentive and made sure to pinpoint what areas needed the most attention. I love that they had multiple oil options. I picked the organic coconut oil to be used on the majority of my body and another oil on my back where it's more prone to breakouts. The whole experience was so relaxing. I left leaving refreshed and my neck pain had significantly improved. The next time I'm in Denver I will absolutely be back. read more

After two 80 minute rugby games this past weekend..I was all knotted up and out of whack...I couldn't get into my car without crying out in pain. Sooo I needed a massage yesterday, not too expensive but also from someone who wasn't going to poke at my back. I made an appointment at 5:30, went in a few minutes early to fill out a first timer information sheet and I was ready to go. My appointment was with Kevin, one of their more aggressive deep tissue massage therapists. I just let him go. He was very sincere asking if the pressure was okay and even though it hurt (in a good way) I needed it. After the hour was done I got up, noticed a very relaxed feeling in my body, paid and left. The real test..... I was able to get in to my car - no crying in pain necessary. I feel great today and actually slept last night! Yay - Kevin's the man! I was given a gift card for this place years ago. The greatest thing is that i was allowed to use it. The place is located on the second floor of Whole Foods.. It seems like it would be small but it's not. My massage therapist with Samantha and she did an awesome job. They have all different kinds of massages and such. I cannot speak highly enough of this place. Every massage I've had gad been wonderful. My current favorite masseuse is Dom, but you really can't go wrong with any of them. They are a bit more expensive, but you definitely pay for the quality. And they are also very aware of their clients. I have a lavendar allergy and they've made a note in my file, not once since have I had to say anything to anyone, they come aware and keep the aromatherapy away. I also owe a debt of gratitude to Dr. Julia. I have multple back injuries and years of physical therapy later it got better, but the pain was never gone. Over the last 6 months she has helped clear out the pain in my neck and is making huge strides with my lower back. She's a professional and incredibly caring chiropractor. My visits with the naturopathic doctor, Dr. Binder, have been the most educational visits I've ever had with a health professional. She ran tests that my PCP never even heard of, and helped me to make some changes that have been very helpful in managing my health.
