I've had several massages at Soulstice over the years. I don't live in Denver so my wife and I feel like we're making a massage pilgrimage to get to Soulstice when visit Denver over the holidays. Massage is a very personal experience. Needs vary person to person. My wife's needs are greatly different than mine. We both come away from Soulstice saying ,"the therapists had ideas and techniques we'd never experienced". We always come away so grateful for their truly intuitive and knowledgeable approach to massage. I've experienced several of the wonderful therapists at Soulstice but must single out Kent. I was referred to Soulstice by my surgeon for lymphatic massage after having a face and neck lift. Two months post procedure I was still having moderate swelling and had formed some excess scar tissue. The owner, Ann immediately put me at ease with her expertise and deep knowledge on what to do. Not only did she give me the nicest massage to get the lymph to start moving, but she provided a lot of information regarding how to do self massage at home and additional helpful info to help with the scar formation. I have always thought of massage as a luxury. Something reserved as a special treat. I might get one a few times a year at most. That was until I was injured and my doctor sent me to Soulstice. I never realized that massage could help with the healing process until I saw Kent and Ann. They both specialize in massage for people who have had surgery or injuries. I went to Soulstice in the hopes of avoiding surgery to remove a calcium deposit in a tendon. The calcium has partially absorbed, so I don't need to have surgery. I believe this is because of the massage therapy. Kent was able to find some trigger points that my doctor and 2 physical therapists never noticed before him. The massage therapists asked important questions to give me the massage I needed. They also took the time to get to know me. If you like to chat during your massage you might get to know them too. I always felt well cared for. I never felt insecure or uncomfortable. I was able to completely relax. The office is decorated very nicely. The rooms are clean, but don't feel sterile. They provide water and hot tea or coffee while you wait. The staff is very professional and friendly. They compliment me about something every time I go, which makes me feel appreciated. I've had some bad and so-so massages from inexperienced and careless therapists. After visiting Soulstice I can't imagine ever going anywhere else. I highly recommend if you need a massage, for relaxation or for wellness, this is the place to go. It's well worth the money. read more

I have been going to Soulstice ever since my first arthroscopic hip surgery in 2015. The staff is FANTASTIC! 5-Star every time. Kent suggested that I come in for a pre-surgery appointment to get ready and relaxed. I'm so grateful that I did that! Then, I had my second hip surgery in 2018, and in between that a car accident in 2016. Each time I return to Soulstice I have been paired with a body worker who matches my body's needs. Being a migraine sufferer I have tried everything and anything from...massage, acupuncture, chiropractic care, homeopathic remedies, meds, dietary changes, head and neck specialists, neurologist, etc. I saw Jonathan yesterday for the first time when I was having borderline migraine symptoms. I really wanted to just TRY to stop my symptoms in its tracks. I wasn't feeling very optimistic but have heard nothing but positive things about Soulstice so I decided to give it a try. All I can say is that I have NEVER experienced anything like this in my life. Jonathan talked to me about my migraine trigger points, very technical things about blood flow, nerves and muscle layers that I never knew or understood. He worked on my neck, shoulders and head using more of a medical and technical approach to his massage that worked miraculously! I had instant relief from neck/head tension. No one has been able to "dig" deep enough into my neck or understood how to bring relief to this specific problem area of mine. He led me through various techniques that I have never experienced that was extremely informative. I thought for sure I would wake up this morning feeling very sore, have more neck stiffness/pain, and have headache stuff going on... and instead... I have more movement in my neck than I have had in a long time! I felt like crying this morning because I can't express enough how much relief I have and how much he helped me just in ONE session! My body tends to get jacked up on a pretty regular basis and needs people to work on it who know what the funk they're doing. Sadly, outside of my chiro, I have not found a massage place or therapist that can make a significant difference in things on me -- until this week. WeeklyPlus.com has a deal for the next *9* hours for 2 half-hour medical-grade massages for $49, a $125 value. That's what hooked me up. So what's the difference between a medical-grade massage and an "other" type of massage? Medical-grade appears to do for your muscles what your chiropractor does for your spine/skeletal structure. It's not a fluffy massage with new age music wafting in the background and soothing oils rubbed into your skin. It's literally muscle and fascia manipulation. Does it feel good? Well, some areas that got pressure left me feeling like a melting stick of butter and purring; and others were making me "twang" and were distinctly uncomfortable. BUT, that being said, the overall relief it provides is *wonderful*. As far as the lack of music, we did get about 2 minutes worth through a glitchy corporate music system they have there -- that was slightly amusing (and then as quickly as it appeared, it was gone again...) I had the pleasure of making the acquaintance of Sara, who hits the southernmost 2 of their 3 offices (not the Highlands one), and *she knows what she is doing*. Remember my 1st paragraph? Yeah. She's a pro, she has deep knowledge and will educate you in what she is doing while she is doing it -- which will keep you at ease should you reach one of those "ugh, this doesn't feel good at all" areas. On top of her manipulation, she showed me a few unusual stretches which are going to do miracles for my psoas muscles (if you have any kinds of lower back and probably hip soreness as well, the psoas is likely at ground zero as the culprit -- due to, big shocker, bad body position throughout the day). She's not the type to just hand out a sheet with various stretches on like some chiros or massage people do. The person who booked my appointment, Chris, is also super cool and personable; very easy to get along with. So far, I'm lovin this whole outfit...they can do 30, 60 or 90 min appts, possibly 2 hrs as well since that was hinted at. read more

Obviously I am not one to write a reviews but I just had to about Soulstice. I do not live in Denver but have family here and came to visit. I recently had a procedure and needed to continue my post operative/lymphatic drainage massages while in Denver. I found Soulstice based upon searching the internet and scheduled my appointment the week before my visit. I arrived today with NO expectations at all except the great experience I had over the phone. This place is beautiful, BUT decor was not what I came for. My therapist/technician was Kent (also the owner) who proceeded to delve into the reason for my visit and what my past experience(s) had been with post operative massage. Kent explained what technique he would be performing and answered all my questions as well as taught me a few things I could do myself upon my return home. I have had dozens of massages at a variety of spas but NOTHING like what I experienced at Soulstice. If I had anything negative to say it would be that Kent is too tall to fit into my suitcase, I literally wanted to take him home with me. I wish I could find a Soulstice/Kent in Texas. I look forward to my next trip to Denver and will definitely be visiting you! read more

O! M! G! wow, people-listen; I have had A LOT of massage in my day and I am pretty critical b/c my hubby is a former massage therapist...these guys know exactly what they are doing. They have an incredible knack for matching you with the therapist to suit your massage needs-almost intuitive! I am delighted to have become a part of the Soulstice regulars and I encourage you to go check out the work of 2 very talented therapists: Bernadette and Pam, either in the Cherry Creek location or Englewood-trust me it's worth it! I am sure the other therapists working for Soulstice are amazing, because that is just the standard that this business chooses to uphold and I am a big fan of that! The rooms are clean, cozy and warm! I think this is the key to having a comfy massage-warm space (after all-you are practically naked in there!) FANTASTIC! The lounge and rooms are calming and comfortable. Sondra greets you like an old friend, even if it is your first time, and just makes you feel welcomed. I highly recommend Jonathan. I have gone to him maybe six times over the last few years for chronic foot pain (before and after surgeries) and he has been able to work out the issues to help keep me mobile. He listens intently, takes his time to treat the obvious and usually can figure out where the issue may be originating to eliminate the problem and not just a symptom. I have never had a therapist work so thoughtfully and thoroughly to help with an issue. I have come to realize that is the mindset of everyone I have come into contact with at Soulstice. My first experience with Soulstice came after undergoing surgery (not foot related) and my doctor had enlisted Soulstice to provide something called perio-massage that is used as part of the surgery recovery process to help with swelling, bruising and, for me, pain. Frankly, I was not even going to go to the appointment because I thought it was a waste of time to put myself through the pain of moving around the day after surgery for something I was pretty sure would not have any benefit. This type of post-surgery massage consisted of barely touching my skin while lightly stroking towards my various lymph glands. It was very relaxing and a little ticklish at times. After the massage, I was positive that I would not experience any results since she barely touched me. I had to admit that I was so very wrong. I should preface my results with adding that I bruise easily and my bruises tend to take weeks to a month to go away. First, the swelling was absolutely GONE, not just diminished. Second, my bruising never got to the purple stage; instead, the next day it changed to the light green/yellow-ish stage and went away in just a few days. Finally, I never needed the prescription pain medication or any over-the-counter pain medication after that second day (the day I had the massage). A day or two later, my doctor's office called to check on me. I relayed my results and repeatedly remarked how unbelievable it was. She said they hear those kind of results often when their patients actually show up to the massage appointment. Although I was close to skipping that appointment too, I was so glad I went and immensely grateful that my doctor included it in my post-surgery recovery instructions. I have been and continue to be impressed with the Soulstice therapists and the unexpectedly, high quality of care they offer. Although I run the risk of sounding like an infomercial testimonial, I have been recommending them to everyone I know with aches, pains or is going in for surgery. read more

I've been here 3x times as referred by my old pt. The first two sessions a women gave me a massage who was great. She not only focus on my back but on my hands and arms. I only saw one therapist at this location; the first session was fine, the second session was SO horrible. The therapist made inappropriate comments, of a sexual nature, towards me and was physically inappropriate during the massage. I felt extremely violated after my 2nd visit here and encourage you not to risk the same. read more
