I had never been adjusted before I started working here. I tend to be on the nervous side and was hesitant trying it for the first time. That being said - the docs put me completely at ease. I felt so safe the entire time. They ask for consent before touching sensitive areas and continue to ensure you're comfortable throughout the entire adjustment. Great experience every time. All three docs are awesome at what they do (and they're great people). DR BRACK CAUSED ME TO HAVE 4 STROKES I visited this office and saw Dr. Brack. He manipulated my neck and I started to have WARNING signs of a stroke. He didn't do anything! Left me to see other patients. He told my mom who was there to go get anti nausea meds and tired to have us leave the office. Dr. M came in 20 mins later...as I couldn't even stand. Mind you I have stroke symptoms! She told him to call 911 IMMEDIATELY!! They came and transported me to the emergency room via ambulance. ---I HAD 4 STROKES ON Dr. Bracks table. He did NOTHING. He called that night to see what happened. I told him I had 4 strokes. His response was, " oh wow. Well take care" and hung up! NOT TIA, real strokes Since August of 2021 I have not received one call from them. It happened IMMEDIATELY after he adjusted me. I live with LIFELONG consequences of this. Expensive health care and never living life the same. Seeing doctors multiple times a month-for the rest of my life. I'm young, healthy, and the neurosurgeon said I have NO "factors" to have a stroke. They have also seen this happen from adjustments on the neck. I can't fight this in court because of malpractice and when they were approached by an attorney they said it cannot be proven it was his fault. Not only did it happen But he LEFT me with obvious evidence and wanted to me to leave. Thank God Dr. M knew and called 911. She saw me maybe 30 seconds and knew (she just came to the office ). Since then there has been no contact to try to even to even apologize but they won't because they won't take accountability. Please do not let them touch your neck. At 31 years old I had this happen and my quality of life dramatically decreased. I will never be able to go back to my old life. Daily I suffer physically and mentally. read more

Three stars with room for improvement. The good: Great facility on S. Pearl street- clean, open airy. The Doctors are friendly, helpful. The business was able to get me in immediately. One downside, they do not take insurance and first visit flat rate seems to be $100, so that is a little more expensive and less optional that businesses that take insurance. After your first visit, this goes to $50 which is reasonable! The significant downside for me is that I experienced only passing relief- maybe 2 hours of relief, after my 30 minute $100 session with Micala. The next morning it was ten times WORSE! Like excruciating. As the day went on, with ice and ibuprofen and a helpful phone call from Dr. Micala, I started to feel better- I am thinking my expectations of feeling better right away were a little overambitious- Patience grasshopper! It took about a week to feel better again. read more

I've been going to chiropractors for 6 years and this is by far the best adjustment I've received. The doctor was incredibly knowledgeable and talked to me about all the systems - muscular, neurological, skeletal - while going through a full adjustment from neck bones to toe bones. We worked specifically on my left shoulder where I always carry my bag and I stood up from the table feeling completely different and without the residual pain I'd had for years. The space is family friendly with lots of toys for the kids and water and tea while you wait. I've been suffering from unexplainable (no injury) tailbone pain since the middle of December. I've had X-rays and have seen 3 separate doctors about it with no relief or answers. The pain has been unbearable at times, and I've been in tears going from sitting to standing since it happened. Medication wasn't helping and the docs weren't either. I began seeing Dr. Brack and Dr. Mikeala when I was 33 weeks pregnant and suffering from awful hip spasms and pain. Even that far along in my pregnancy they helped me manage and alleviate the pain immensely. I first came to Pearl Street Chiropractic because I had been experiencing a sharp mid to low back pain for 9 months after giving birth. Additionally, I was experiencing numbness and tingling in my forearms. I noticed the back pain the most when I was feeding my child and tried to turn in my seat. The pain was horrible and interfering with my work, sleep, exercise habits and family time. On my first visit, Dr. Micaela took the time to talk in detail with me about my history and how it correlates to my current complaint. She then did a thorough examination, including computer scans to measure my progress, and put together a plan of action. I've just completed my initial course of care with Dr. Micaela and am happy to say that the sharp pain in my back went away within a few visits and I had even forgotten that I had ever had numbness in my arms (Dr. Micaela had to remind me, haha)! I've been meaning to write this review for a while now, but really wanted to get it out into the world that this place is an absolute life changer. Before I found Pearl Street Chiropractic and met with Dr. Brack, I was starting to give up hope of ever feeling like myself again and wondering if I'd suffer from lower chronic back pain the rest of my life (I'm only 30). From the beginning, Dr. Brack told me it wouldn't be a quick and easy process, but with getting adjusted and with the right tools he provided I could feel better again. And he was right. Not only did he help me with this lower back pain, but is also helping me with a mystery pain in my stomach/rib cage area that every other doctor thought was a digestive problem. I told Dr. Brack about it and he immediately suspected my pain was related to my lower back injury that happened years ago and how it healed. During this whole process, Dr. Brack has been the only doctor who listened to what I had to say, wanted to problem solve, and actually cares if I feel better.
