Can't say enough great things about the team and their level of care at Wash Park Chiro. I've been going to them for a couple years to work on various injuries and also "basic maintenance" to keep my body out of injury. After I was injured in a car accident this past winter they were my first call. The combination of massage, acupuncture and Chiro adjustments have done more to heal my injuries and restore my body than anything else AND they made the insurance process easy peasy. I've been to other sports med centers over the years but WPC is my favorite. The people are awesome, the care is superb, and I wouldn't have the mobility and energy I do today without them. Only been to this place a few times but I'm already hooked. I was having knee issues and the doc did a full body diagnosis to find the root cause rather than just trying to fix my knee. I have been EXTREMELY skeptical about chiropractors for years. I have a strong fear of them since many are not licensed or have fake doctorates. Wash Park Chiro completely changed my mind. Very modern and welcoming office, staff, and equipment. Many medical and therapeutic items for sale in the waiting area. Every chiropractor here is an actual licensed doctor! Set my mind at ease! Dr. Mangla is fantastic! She spoke with me about my chiropractor concerns and addressed each one. Very kind and concerned about her patients well being. Carries a great conversation and her treatments have been positively progressing my injury. I am really impressed with Dr. Jace. In 2 months, I have gone from a stiff broken wonked out wreck to feeling pretty good and flexible! Dr. Jace is very personable and easy going and manages to "crack your back" mid conversation. The staff is great about scheduling ( and rescheduling when something comes up). I somehow injured my left shoulder and neck pretty badly and was afraid I would have to see an Ortho, but Dr, Jace got me back together lickedy split. THANKS GUYS! It is more expensive to work with insurance and there is some hesitation in setting up insurance filing, but after the first visit/discussion, there have been no problems. I cannot recommend Wash Park Chiro enough! I have chromic migraines that can be hard to treat and Acupuncture and Chiropractic treatments always do the trick - it's better than any drug. Disclaimer: have never seen a chiropractor here. Got a massage from Tyler though after experiencing pretty intense shoulder pain and tension. My chiropractor at a different office advised I try to get a massage and have the MT work on my rhomboids. I had a very short window of time and Wash Park Chiro was able to get me in within that hour - amazing. I told Tyler exactly what the chiropractor said and he focused on just that area for the full 30 minutes. He was communicative about what he was going to do and seemed perhaps more knowledgeable about the human body than any other MT I have met. In the past year I have probably had 5 or 6 massages at various locations and this was the best one. It left me wishing I had more than a 30 minute window to get a massage. The pain was almost entirely gone about 3 days later, which might sound like a long time but the pain was really intense when I went in so 3 day 'recovery' was better than I was expecting. I would definitely recommend getting a massage from Tyler. read more

I've been seeing Dr Lisa for several months. I think she's great -- nice, knowledgeable and a careful listener. I had been going to a chiropractor I liked but who was across town. A friend recommended Dr Lisa, who's office turns out to be down the street from me. Within the first session, she helped resolve some hip pain that I had had all year. I'd gone to bodyworkers and various healers with no luck. (In fact, many kind of made the problem worse.) Dr Lisa figured out the problem right away, and since then, we've been working on other persistent alignment issues. I really like her and the office. Everyone seems well trained and very professional. Plus, they're easy to get to, and there's plenty of parking. read more

I've been to Wash Park Chiropractic twice in the last year, and each visit I dealt with different staff members. Say what you want about "Dr." Goodman and "Dr." Jake, but I wasn't particularly impressed. Jake was actually pretty nice, while Goodman wasn't nearly as friendly. They both tried pretty hard to convince me that they knew what they were doing. On my second visit I was the first appointment of the day, and the only customer in the building, and Goodman walked by me 3 or 4 times without even a "hello", or "I'll be with you shortly". My reason for the low rating though has to do with front desk service. After the first visit when paying the young lady at the front desk, she told me that if I paid out of pocket up front they would give me a discount. I took their word for it and paid and didn't think much of it. The second time, however, was really unpleasant. The young woman at the front desk(different girl this time) told me they accept my insurance(which I confirmed before my visit) but when it came time to pay the tune changed. First she told me that if they billed my insurance instead of me paying out of pocket it was going to cost "a lot more". She said it would cost $100 dollars without insurance, and when I asked her what the cost difference would be she guessed roughly $50 dollars more. I felt like this was a bully tactic to pressure patients into paying out of pocket so the Chiro office staff wouldn't have to deal with the insurance claim. It didn't bother me as much the first time but this time she was really insistent, like I was clearly in the wrong for asking her to bill my insurance. After repeating myself twice she finally took my insurance card. I have a Health Reimbursement Account account and when a claim is submitted to my insurance they deduct the amount from my reimbursement account until my deductible is met or until I deplete the balance. Knowing this, I told her to bill my insurance anyways so I would't have to pay any money out of pocket. As it turns out the cost difference was 7 dollars. Really? Bully tactic confirmation in my opinion. Next she reviews the terms of my insurance and sees that I have not yet met my out of network deductible for the year so I have to pay out of pocket anyways. I tried to explain to her, 3 times in fact, that my HRA would pay the claim and deduct it from my balance of $500 even if I had not yet met my deductible for the year. I had just spent time reviewing the terms of my insurance coverage the week before, and I was 100% confident in what I was telling her. She was adamant that "that's not how a HRA works". She wouldn't listen, and when I asked her to call United Healthcare she made the comment "I've been in this business for 15 years so I know what I'm doing". At this point I'm stuck as she refuses to help me any further until I fork over payment. So I did, since I feel stupid and ghetto standing there arguing about it in front of other patients that have by now come into the building. First thing I did when I got outside? Called United Healthcare, and guess what? I was right, she was wrong. Not only that but the representative for UHC told me that it was very common, and could't figure out how she didn't know that. All she had to do was make a phone call for me, but upholding her claim that she knew what she was doing was more important. For the record I am aware that as an out of network "physician" they are not required to take my insurance. But telling customers over the phone that you accept their insurance when you really don't is misleading, to say the least. Chiropractors are like car salesman, most of them are full of it. There are however that one percent out there that are knowledgeable, confident and really make you feel good about your visit. If that's what you're looking for I suggest you don't go here. read more

I had my first appointment with Dr. Goodman today. I have seen a chiropractor before but due to excessive cracking of my neck, I have steered away from chiropractic for the last several years. I walked into the office with a pain in my neck and some hip pain when running....I walked out without the neck pain! Dr. Goodman was great, very professional. Wash Park Chiro is in a great neighborhood and the office and team are very professional. Dr. Jace is super friendly and knowledgeable. I went in with a pain in my hips from working out. The pain was not going away despite my best efforts so I decided to see if chiropractic could help. I saw Jace 3 times in 3 weeks and the pain diminished significantly. I appreciate Jace not pushing me to come in more often than I needed once my issue was addressed and I will continue to see Jace about once a month for maintenance. We took our 2 month old here (Dr. Simpson) to treat various issues which likely all stemmed from one another including colic, digestive issues and sleep issues. After just one visit, our boy slept better than he ever had before. As well, he only had a few colic fits after that versus a few a day prior to any treatment. He also likely had a mild case of torticollis and that seems to have improved as well. We're a believer and a fan. Wonderful people! I have had a really rough pregnancy, and about halfway through I could barely walk. After seeing Dr B for only 3 visits, my pain was almost completely controlled. Today I enjoyed the best prenatal massage I have had to date. Mackenzie is great! She took the time to really explain their prenatal table ( they can be quite confusing) and the massage itself was relaxing and addressed all the areas that I really needed some tlc. Dr. Goodman is amazing. I started seeing her to relieve nerve pain during pregnancy and it was wonderful! I went from literally crawling up the stairs to jogging again after 3 treatments. I continued seeing her postpartum to combat some tension headaches and her TMJ adjustments really did the trick! I've also had several massages with Amanda that were relaxing and beneficial long term in releasing muscle tension. Finally, I took my 8 week old to her after being advised by her pediatrician to do so as her cranial bones weren't flexing properly. She went from crying all. the. time. to normally socially interacting after 4 appointments. I cannot say enough good things about this practice. Everyone is kind and helpful and extremely qualified and knowledgable. Wash Park Chiropractic is a great practice. After experiencing hip and back discomfort for years, I was referred to Dr. Goodman for an exam. After arriving to a welcoming office with exceptional staff, I met with Dr. Goodman. I had my initial visit/exam, and Dr. Goodman quickly recommended that I receive an x-ray or an MRI because she could not justify what she was seeing from my alignment. I was admittedly confused by her suggestion, but trusted her opinion and immediately agreed. She set up the x-ray right then and there while I waited in her office, and I had the results within an hour of her initial request. The results were not good, but I would not have been made aware of the situation without her expertise and genuine care for my health. With Dr. Goodman and Wash Park Chiropractic walking me through the process, I was provided with professional referrals, insurance guidance, and reassurance that my issue would be resolved. I was able to deal with a large tumor that had developed on my pelvis, which had been causing pain that nobody could pinpoint for years. I still have no idea how Dr. Goodman so quickly, and so professionally, helped to diagnose my issue and provided the support and guidance necessary to step through something that had been prohibiting my health for quite some time. Going on 3 years, so it seemed time to write an update. Not only do i continue to go to Wash Park Chiro for routine spinal adjustments, i really do consider them my overall sports doc. They've helped me recover from a shoulder injury after a bike crash, a HUGE hip bruise after a snowboarding crash (check out the pics on their facebook page!), a torn calf muscle after a different snowboarding crash, and a myriad of other little aches and pains as my body nears the end of its fifth decade. No, i haven't considered giving up snowboarding or biking ... i just go see Dr. G. more often! :) In addition to all that cracking and twisting stuff that chiropractors do, she's a master at Rock-tape (the sexy tape that beach volleyball players like to wear) and Graston (some sort of "mechanical massage" process that helps reduce inflammation and speed healing ... although it hurts like hell!). I am new to the Denver area and I recently had problems with my upper back. While I was working out I tweaked something and my upper back was in a great deal of pain and my range of motion was limited. I saw Dr. Kati Schwabe, DC at Wash park Chiropractic and she was excellent. I'd say the best chiropractor I've been to, and i've been to a verity of different chiropractors in a few different states, since I have been relocated a lot recently. I really enjoyed her approach to chiropractic and she was very personable, she made it a great experience. I was pain free and back to normal a couple days after. I was in a pretty severe car accident in December and have been able to feel almost back to normal within two months. I take my almost 2 year old daughter to Dr. B for her persistent ear infections and it has worked wonders for her. It really helps her drain and she hasn't had an ear infection for two months when she had them constantly prior. If it is possible to change someone's neck, Dr. Buzek has done it. After being in a car accident at 16 and suffering from neck pain and migraines for the 13 years that followed, Dr. Buzek's adjustments and techniques have impacted and changed my neck in ways that no other chiropractor was able to. I actually went on a 7-year chiropractor hiatus for the majority of my 20's after having repeatedly unhelpful chiropractic experiences where my neck never got better. But then I found my way to Dr. Buzek and Wash Park Chiropractic a few months ago, after yet another tweaking of my neck where I couldn't move my head to the right for a week - and things began instantly getting better.
