Brett and Angela are the best, super personable and knowledgeable, and I always look forward to seeing them. Since I tore a muscle in my lower back playing basketball four years ago, I was never able to fully recover and get back to my active lifestyle of working out and playing sports. I was always in some degree of discomfort and was constantly terrified of re-injuring my back. I would see some slow recovery and then just a slight mis-movement would undo all of my progress. I had worked with chiropractors and massage therapists for a few years and would have short-term benefits but would eventually end up re-injuring myself doing the slightest things. I had never worked with a physical therapist before because honestly I just didn't know what they would do besides have me do things I already know (do some stretches and lift some light weights). I ultimately went to Atlas because I was starting to lose hope and was thinking back surgery may be inevitable. I could not be MORE GRATEFUL for coming to Atlas! It has been life-changing, and that isn't an exaggeration. My back is PAIN-FREE for the first time in YEARS and my lower back mobility and strength is probably better than when I got injured. I have had a couple small setbacks over the last few months but my body recovered so much quicker and it has never gone back to where it was before. Today, I feel great and can't believe that I'm only going in every other week and typically show up without any pain. I'm fully on the path to recovery and have full confidence - for the first time in years - that I will get my life back and have a stronger, more flexible, back than before. It's possible & I highly encourage going to Atlas if you are in the same boat that I was. Thanks Brett and Angela! See you in a couple weeks!

They have a staff member who has no idea what they are doing putting people in and out of the chambers, the chamber itself didn't even work, it never stabilized at pressure which is a serious safety issue, I also told the tech to make sure to go slow to pressure and depressurization due to medical conditions. What did she do? She yanked on the pressure switch when it was time to end the session and I almost passed out in the chamber. I was sick from that. I also told her that the chamber never stabilized and was constantly climbing (the pressure gage is inside the chamber) and she laughed it off and said "oh its just broken!" no it isn't. I've done A LOT of HBOT at different clinics, that should never happen in a chamber. And if it's broken, FIX IT! Fix your staff too. They also advertise red light. therapy which was a tiny mat looking thing that wouldnt stay turned on for more than 30 seconds. Poorly run clinic, dangerous to be using these tools without knowledgable staff, supposed to take vitals too and they never did. I reported this incident to the clinic and they never responded. While yes, I am unrestrained, and a glutton for pastries (pun intended), even at my best of eating habits the terror would still pop up. Through friends of friends, I found Axon and in a conversation it was suggested that I have a GI-MAP done to understand the gut biome, and see if there is any true indication of celiac. As it turns out, there was not, and instead the villains were two different kind of parasites and bad gut bacteria to max. I'm now about four months into the protocol, and I feel significantly better. Most importantly, I've had a level of consistency in my digestion that I haven't experienced in literal years. The team has been excellent about explaining the process, answering questions, and adjusting the approach based on my feedback and how I'm responding. Enter phase two, as during the GI-MAP process I discussed my recent visits to a psychiatrist and new therapists for parallel mental health issues. While they shared that this actually could be partially caused but the gut-brain connection, they also suggested some alternatives to medication and explained a lot of the science behind various treatment paths. After another mapping exercise, this time for my brain, I have so much clarity on what's going on, and again, a protocol to make adjustments and change my baseline, passively and actively. Last, throughout both of these processes, every single one of their staff members has been an absolute delight to work with. They are all so friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable and willing to talk you through any questions you have. Obviously, everyone's situation is different, and this is just my personal experience. But after years of trying to figure out what was going on, I've been genuinely impressed with the level of attention, explanation, and individualized care I've received. I'd very much recommend Axon to anyone looking for a more comprehensive approach to gut and brain health.
