Outstanding place and docs! I literally could barely walk in and in less than 30 minutes I could stand upright and walk normally out of the office. Went back for a follow up the next day and they fined tuned the lower back and I can function normally. I am from out of state and was here on business when I torqued my back. Will not be joining as a member. Went in for my first visit today, and was immediately being pushed into paying a monthly fee before the doctor even wanted to discuss my issues with me. He then gave me attitude when I said I'd like to go home and consider my options before committing to a monthly membership. Went in on Wed due to injury carrying ladder. Painful upper back. Paperwork and being seen less than 10 minutes. Talked to Chiropractor for couple minutes, he said it was Rhomboid muscle and spine issue. Less than 2 minutes of adjustment. OUCH! Hurt worse. $29. Told to come back several times to get better. Came back next day, 2 minutes of adjustments $39, but he also used clicker and pulled my neck this time. My right elbow and forearm started to tingle and go numb. Not good. Skipped Friday as was in pain and arm tingling. Came in on Saturday, different Chiro. She adjusted me for less than 5 minutes as well $39 ($468/hr.) Results after 3 visits? My pain is still here, cannot sleep more than a few minutes before pain wakes me up, now arm also continually tingles and hurts and I paid $107. Not recommended. What a great option for those of us who know how important it is to have Chiropractic care, but maybe can't afford adjustments that cost $60+ a pop. This is not your typical Chiro office. You come here only to get manual adjustments. That's it. No x-rays, no massage, no listening for 20mins to your laundry list of symptoms. Is it possible to give Dr. Renee 10 stars?! During the last couple of years, I was unable to find a chiropractor who could adjust my rib successfully. Even when they accepted insurance, the price was between $45 - $75 per visit. I tried The Joint because of the economic value, but I'm here to tell you - Dr. Renee is my Rib Angel. Not only is she a caring person who wants to see you feel better, she's excellent at her profession! The cost per month - $49 which includes 4 adjustments. The hours of operation are fantastic - they are even open on weekends and until 7pm on weekdays. No appointments, no fuss - just great health benefits with two caring doctors. read more

Dr. Marie is the best! I love this place- they are quick and actually provide relief. I have visited many different Chiropractors over the past 20 years, and I left a high-priced one who provided no relief, took forever, and getting to the appt. every time was a pain in the #$% -- I love being able to walk in and get immediate relief. I've never been to this location personally, but had an exchange over the phone that was very disappointing. My card was charged without my permission, so I spoke with Melissa at the Arboretum location and she would not listen to a word I had to say, she just waited for her turn to speak. She interrupted me every single time I tried to speak and would not listen to a word. It seems Melissa never learned that "the customer is always right." I have worked in corporate customer service for years and would have NEVER treated a client the way I was treated. Even in a much more serious climate we go out of our way to make sure the client has the best experience possible and to to correct even the mistakes they make on their own. Melissa was argumentative and condescending-not concerned with the customer experience at all. Fortunately it seems this is not the norm for The Joint. I sent an email to their corporate office on Sunday evening and received a reply Monday morning. Dr. Larry Something (bad with names:) was very kind and listened well. I have seen both Dr. Renee and Dr. Le. Both are great chiropractors and there is usually little to no wait. $19 for the first adjustment, $24 each thereafter....our just pay $49/ month to get up to 4 adjustments/ month! Great price for great quality. I recommend trying both doctors. They are both great with different adjustment styles. read more

The arboretum one is wayyy better than the lake line one. The arboretum joint is actually owner by doctors and the lakeline one is investors, So I'm told... Trust me it shows. Based on the girls at the front, not the doctors. All chiropractic doctors are great. Hate the inconsistencies of the both of them. read more

First time ever at chiropractor and would never return after Dr Barras made me cry! Saw another doctor who was great -asking lots of questions about my injury and upon responding was told to shut my mouth by Dr Barras who wasn't even my doctor. It was horrible! I need help and future visits but prefer never to cry from getting yelled at by a complete stranger! My Dr was fantastic too bad she works with a verbally abusive man! So glad I belong to 3 gyms and can make sure no other women ever go to his workplace and they can not be verbally abused! If he's not in... other doctor was fantastic!!!! I'm still going once a week and I'm telling you it is saving me with my second pregnancy! My right SI joint keeps going out of whack and they keep on top of it so it doesn't totally screw me up in third trimester. I cannot recommend this place enough. Great experience here. I went in for the first time a couple of days ago, it was very close to closing time and of course since I have never been there I had to fill out all the paperwork and what not. I felt bad showing up as a new patient so late in the day, but the staff was amazing helpful and super fun. I felt important to them, and you would think that with the amount of people they probably see a day, that it would be hard for them to make you feel like you are their only patient, but you would be thinking wrong. On top of all that goodness....I feel Great!!! my back Kas been feeling crazy out of wack, these guys snapped me back into place, and thoroughly explained what was going on, what i should do. I thought that "you probably get what you pay for". However I have been very pleased with the quality of chiropractic treatments I have received here. A very good experience all around here! My shoulder has been out of whack for several months and I've been to my primary doctor to get it checked out to no avail. I finally got some relief after my first session and felt even better after the second. The spotlight of this place is the friendly service, the girl at the front dek was really nice and answered my questions since this was my first experience at the chiropractor. It may seem like they are trying to push packages and long term commitments on you to some people. I felt they were just really trying to give me as much information as they could so I could make an informed decision about my treatment plan. The cost was also incredibly affordable. Dr. Barras is great. I've always had adjustments when things went wrong. That changed this past year (finally realized at 52 yrs old) and have been going weekly for 10+months. Within the past 2 weeks I shoveled 2 yards of stone and 1 yard of mulch. In the past, would have lower back pain/issues for many future weeks. This time around, not so. I love this place! Doctors Barras, Fisher, and Christopher are always fantastic and attend to the issues I come to them for with good results. I live an active lifestyle and to have these chiros there to work on me and then recommend stretches or other such movements to help with my neck issues is a life saver! Typically, any time I need to get cracked, I am in and out. When there's a wait, I don't mind because I know I it wont be long and the reason its busy is because of the quality work the docs do. As if that isn't good enough, there is usually a blonde female receptionist who is always a joy to work with and has been helpful and super friendly to me on several occasions. One time for example, my HSA/insurance card declined and what could have easily been an embarrassing situation was made totally cool and smooth by her polite and friendly demeanor. The first time he adjusted me I wanted to vomit the whole next 48 hours but then I felt great. Since then, the weekly adjustments seem to be helping my shoulders and neck pain. Had some pretty significant back pain for about a week and finally broke down and went to see a Chiropractor. Got a walk in Saturday appointment. It was my first time ever to go to a Chiropractor, so first time at The Joint. The price was fair. Now, I'm a large man and the doc there was a smaller female and was upfront with me that she likely wouldn't be able to manipulate me the way that was needed due to my size and that I'd likely have better luck with a male that would come in later. However, I asked her to see what she could do. Got a few good cracks but not the immediate relief I was seeking. Then again, I don't really know if it works that way. Still had fairly considerable pain for another week and lingering for about maybe 2 afterwards..but only went to the one appt.. read more

The treatments can be as short as 5 minutes but if all you need is a quick adjustment it can be a good deal. If you sign up for the package read the whole contract carefully. It's a full page of fine print. I was told I could try it for one month and call and cancel anytime. Turns out there's a 2 month minimum and a 30 day cancellation notice required. You can't call to cancel either. You have to fill out and sign a form which says right under the signature that your credit card will be charged for another month. Why do they need to use these methods? It ruined an otherwise pleasant experience. read more

If you are looking for good, long term chiro care you need to find one that does xrays, consultations, treatment plan, cox table, etc. In Austin i'ts Michele Gerard...she's the best.
