Dr J caused pain in areas that I had no issue with prior to my visits. After the 2nd visit, I had knee pain. After the third visit, I had to go to my Dr for shoulder pain just to make sure it wasn't anything serious after a week and half of it hurting. Luckily, it was just an inflamed joint from Dr J pressing too hard. Dr Brooke was dismissive and basically said Dr J couldn't have caused it. I had no pain with my knees and shoulder prior to my visits. I miss Dr. Aguilar. read more

The first adjustment was not fulfilled how I needed it but I will admit on the second adjustment a different chiropractor there fixed and adjusted my lower back troubles a lot better and I was satisfied with the immediate results. I went to the joint on the 10 of May as a belated Mother's Day gift. I am extremely dissatisfied with my service and want a full refund. This was my first time ever going to a chiropractor ever and I had no idea what to expect. There was about a 40 min wait, then the total consultation took less than 5 minutes. Through the introduction of meeting Dr. Weever (or weeber?) I felt he fear mongered me. He told me "he's a doctor so he knows what he's talking about", then proceeded to tell me all the things that's wrong with my body and showed me a scary photo of what my bones will look like if I don't come twice a week, then once a week to get adjusted till who knows when. I felt pressured to get on their "flex plan" which charged you $19/mo plus $15/mo for ever visit ($34 total vs their normal price of $39). My husband initially came expecting to pay $29 for a new client walk in special but due to us being fearful for my health, and no prior experience or knowledge of chiropractors/red flags, we agreed and ended up paying $48. The actual adjustment was honestly a painful and felt like he was forcing certain positions just to get a "crack or pop". I am a petite woman and didn't know how it's supposed to feel so I just went with it. After my experience I looked up "chiropractic red flags" on google and I found out that my experience highlighted a bunch that were listed on the internet. 2 days later and my back is hurting more than when I went in. Also, a lady had came in during our wait and said that she wanted to see a "Dr. Chris because the last time she went someone jacked her up". I should have took that as a sign and ran or asked for that doctor. Needless to say, do your research- don't just go to any place or chiropractor. Don't just let anyone adjust you! I don't recommend the doc I went to or this place honestly as I am a little scarred now from any type of body adjustments. read more

TLDR version: Don't go here if you're worried about COVID-19 and staying safe amidst the pandemic this year. My fiancée and I went here today so she could get an adjustment. We have been extremely careful since the pandemic started to observe social distancing measures and face protection guidelines released by healthcare organizations and the government. We both have risk factors that would make it harder to fight the virus if we contracted it. The receptionist upon arrival had a face mask but it was not on her mouth and nose instead she had it tucked under her chin, so pretty pointless. The lobby is small and usually crowded so you'd think their staff would at least set a constant example of wearing a face covering. Not the case. About 5 minutes after arriving 3 more people arrived together all not wearing masks, which IMO the responsible thing to do would be to require face coverings when frequenting an establishment where so many bodies are touching so many of the same surfaces. That or provide some kind of cloth face covering to those who do not have one upon arrival. They have a piece of paper taped next to the door that says they suggest facial coverings but there evidently is no enforcement on their part to make sure this occurs amongst patients or their staff. Once my fiancée went back for her adjustment the chiropractor who took care of her did thoroughly wipe down the equipment and table before starting the adjustment...hence the 2 stars. However, when the chiropractor asked her why she hadn't been in for an adjustment in awhile she expressed that she had been concerned about the virus and trying to limit how much she frequented social places while the number of new cases were still growing. He basically said that was dumb and she should have come in sooner, that he thought people were overreacting to the virus, it wasn't that dangerous and that the stress she was feeling about the situation was probably more harmful to her health than the virus would be....and that she maybe should try to relax a little. Besides the ridiculousness of a business owner having an attitude that excuses their own negligence by telling someone they shouldn't be worried about catching a virus, this is a blatant disregard for the duty this medical "professional" has to protect their patients by spreading misinformation. We are being told by the top medical experts in the country to social distance and be very cautious in regards to social interaction to prevent the spread of this virus, and here's a chiropractor that feels they know better than the leading virologists and doctors of the world. We will likely be reporting this to corporate. Unacceptable and we will not be returning. read more

These chiropractors are knowledgeable, kind, gentle and highly effective! They've gotten me back from gripping pain and wonky back issues. Pretty bummed by my experience with this place. Called to schedule an appt to find out that it's walk in only and their last new patient appointment was at 6 PM. Got off work early canceled all my appointments to get there by 5:15 just for them to tell me that they had no spots available. Please be transparent with your customers when they call in. I'm not a big chiropractor person but I'm pregnant and developed carpal tunnel syndrome. It's pretty common and typically gets progressively worse. Mine started around 20 weeks and was so bad - I'd wake up with my entire right hand asleep and cramping. I struggled to even squeeze shampoo bottles when washing my hair! Wearing a wrist brace didn't really help at all and some other moms suggested prenatal chiropractic care. It has been such a game changer! Within a few weeks, I saw almost complete improvement - no more pain or cramping and only the mildest tingling. I've also had pretty much no other aches and pains at 33 weeks and I think weekly chiropractic care has played a huge role in that. I've seen all three doctors at some point but go to Dr. Cole most regularly. Definitely recommend this and I plan on incorporating this into my routine after pregnancy as well because I'm realizing what a difference alignment makes in our health and well-being!! read more

I called this morning to ask for the wait time and was told by Barbara that the wait was 30 minutes. When I was dropped off, I was asked if I was a new patient I said yes and filled all my paperwork out. About 10 minutes after I turned it all in, the "Dr" came out and said that because I was a new patient all of the other people there would go in front of me. He said he couldn't tell me if it I would be waiting 30 minutes or 90 minutes. When I asked why I wasn't told this when I called or when I got there his response was "Our turnover is high and I have been able to find time to explain it to her yet." Beware..Dr.'s made my conditions worse. They are sloppy, out of integrity, and need to re-evaluate their business plan. Spend a little more money and go see "real" chiropractors! They had a sign in the window which said face masks are recommended, but of the five of us in the lobby, two didn't bother to wear masks. Nope, I turned around at the door and left. I certainly won't be going back to ANY The Joint until there is a vaccine for Covid-19, if then. Oh well, life in a pandemic! While state Covid-19 guidelines do not require people to wear masks, this guideline is politically motivated. CDC guidelines stress the importance of wearing masks and social distancing. Okay. So they just opened and they are awesome! We've never been to a chiropractor. My husband has a pretty physical job and works out quite a bit. He always tells me that his back/shoulders/everything are sore. He went on Thursday and feels so much better already, same day and next day and day after. He signed up for the "Wellness Plan" because it made the most sense for him. I didn't know it could make such a difference! The practice is clean, sharp and the staff are just so darn happy to be there. The prices are great and the doctors are great. It's a really accessible format for chiropractic. read more

I have been seeing these doctors for over a year and I always come out less stressed and feeling better than when I walked in. It is convenient as they have offices all over town, so no matter where you are at you can pop in and get adjusted. This place is fabulous!! I somehow hurt my lower back and it was so difficult for me to walk/ do any daily activities. I definitely couldn't work. So I turned to Yelp to find a good chiropractic spot and this place had excellent reviews. I stopped in and there was a little bit of a wait but they were getting people in and out really quick. The doctor worked on my back and instantly I was already starting to feel a little better. Still sore. I would've given 5 stars because I love the service and the chiropractors are really good and I feel so much better each time I go. However after my first session I was given 3 free appointments, I paid for my first session and signed up for their flex plan, the next time I went I used one of my free appointment cards. Today I went in again and used another card and was told I wasn't supposed to get the free appointment cards and she took my third one and said I can't use it. I am very disappointed with one the way the receptionist didn't even smile, but then instead of just allowing me to keep the other free appointment since I was given it my first time and was able to use it my second time. My first experience at the joint was excellent. My wife and I were greeted warmly, checked in quickly, and we got to see a chiropractor within minutes. My experience with the chiropractor was also excellent. he was very knowledgeable and really helped my back and neck pain. After the adjustment, my chiropractor talked with me about exercises I could do at home to help alleviate the pain. When I heard about the cost for a membership there, I was blown away by how cheap and inexpensive it was considering the excellent service I received. I first visited The Joint-Southpark shortly after they opened their doors in December 2013, and continue to be impressed with each visit. I have received adjustments by Dr. Meadors and Dr. Ponce, both are excellent and most professional. I recently irritated a lower back injury (herniated disc), which is what led me into chiropractic care a few years ago. I was in terrible discomfort-OK, PAIN and went immediately to The Joint and met with Dr. Ponce, he listened to what was bothering me and what I had been doing do likely cause the flare-up. I really feel he took all my information and focused on giving me some relief, my back was so locked up he was not able to get much movement on that adjustment; however, he sent me home feeling better for sure. I followed up with him 2 days later for another adjustment and after the 3rd (since this flare-up) he has made me feel so much better & put me on the path to recovery/wellness. "This Joint" is most affordable with the greatest staff- everyone is professional, friendly and most welcoming!
