Front desk receptionist is extremely unprofessional and incredibly rude. I brought my teenage daughter here when she was having neck pain and the doctor was great with her but we really almost left before seeing him due to the receptionist. Later, my husband was having back problems and called for a same-day appointment. Again the receptionist was curt, unhelpful and rude but because we'd had a good experience with the doctor, he made an appointment anyway. He asked what times available and was told 6:30pm, so he booked it. That was the extent of the conversation- she said 6:30, he said ok I'll take it, she asked for his name, call over. At no point did she ask him any other questions or give any other information. When he arrived, the receptionist- the same one who booked his appointment a few hours before - started yelling at him, telling him HE screwed up and that new patients have to be seen by 5:45. It was so unbelievably rude, aggressive and inappropriate he was just floored and turned around and walked out. How would a new patient know to come ANY OTHER TIME than the time YOU made an appointment for them??! We will NOT be returning. Too bad because the one chiropractor we saw with our daughter seemed highly competent, as well as kind and patient. read more

I was terrified of going to a chiropractor. Worried I would get hurt and how it would feel etc. I believe Ashley was the one who adjusted me, and she was terrific!! She helped keep me calm and talked me through the whole process and explained everything she was doing so I'd feel more comfortable. I felt great after the adjustment and so glad I gave it a try. The receptionist seemed clueless as to what it takes to do her job. The placed opened at 10 and there was people waiting outside. She opened the door and then closed it back and walked away. Wow, really I was the first person in the door but watch three people go before me because of renewal paperwork that the receptionist could have gave me from the beginning. I'd give this place zero stars if I could. Immediately upon entering the receptionist kept saying to patients "total chaos. It's chaotic." Okay...maybe a busy day. I'll give her that... we all have our days. The vibe in this place just felt off.. They have you fill out a little questionnaire about why you're there, any complaints, etc. I was just in the car for 16+ hours from LA to Denver.. after sleeping for a bit, my son and I were playing outside. I wasn't paying attention and the basketball hit me hard in the face/jaw. I wrote that I was there for jaw pain/possible misalignment and just a general adjustment after being in the car for so long. I waited about 10 minutes for my turn- again, not that big of a deal. But when the chiropractor, Dr. Josh (they wouldn't give me his last name or his business card...which I thought was sketch), came out he didn't even acknowledge me. He asked the receptionist who he saw before me and told her he thought he saw Karissa (me). So not only did the woman before me get treated based on MY symptoms, when the receptionist said "no, this is Karissa" (points at me), Dr.Josh literally faced the wall and slammed his head against the wall and rolled his head back and forth while the receptionist just looked at me kind of shocked. Uh.... wtf? I thought it was very weird and unprofessional. Anger issues? Save that for when you're home alone, bud. No need to bang the wall in front of patients. Then Dr. Josh walked to the back and with his back to me said "let's go". I sat there for a second wondering if I should even go with this guy because he was so unprofessional... did I really want him adjusting me? I then get the most mediocre standard b.s adjustment. He didn't even mention my jaw. I said to him, "that's it? I came in for my jaw pain..." Dr.Josh then rolls his eyes and tells me to lay back down. I had to ask him to readjust it. So apparently he doesn't look at the notes or maybe he just doesn't care. I'm going to assume both. He then proceeds to tell me about their monthly plans and I had to remind him (it's in the notes that I wrote 5 minutes prior) No thank you, I do not live here... to which he interrupts "there are locations all over." Mhm, yes Josh I know.. but I already have a chiropractor where I live. A great one actually. You can really tell the difference in the chiropractors who love their job and care about their patients and those who couldn't find a job anywhere else and half ass their part time work at The Joint. I've been to quite a few Joint locations throughout the years and none have ever been this bad or unprofessional. If you do decide to seek treatment here - see anyone OTHER THAN Dr.Josh. Unless you like being adjusted by miserable white dudes with anger issues. read more

Always accommodating! Walk in wait time is 20 minutes or less. Doctors are all great and ask good questions to make sure treatment is appropriate. Package deals are reasonable, but more important, they keep you in regularly to make sure adjustments become muscle memory and last. read more

One of the Doctors is still not changing the plastic where patient's faces go. I can't say which; since Yelp in all their wisdom does not permit us to use names. I think that is so stupid. Not changing the plastic is obviously a risk. A doctor that used to change the plastic is also now not changing it. I was adjusted tiday by the Doctor who used to change it and now is not. Luckily, I was his first patient. I have sent this concern to corporate and obviously it did not matter. I will be canceling my membership. read more

Just had a very unwelcoming experience at this location. Was rudely treated my the receptionist who rolled her eyes & had to put her phone done to assist me. No intro just threw some paperwork at me. Nothing when I brought it back. When I didn't fill out areas that didn't apply to me she highlighted them and told me I had to fill them out. I'm not a robot. Ugh. When she shoved yet another piece of paperwork at me that I had to fill out her way I left. Not for me. Can't speak to the drs as I never got that far because of the way I was received at the front. Called the aurora location talked to the receptionist. She was telling ,me to go on the website but couldn't even guide me through it. Didn't seem like she had enough knowledge and was probably hired because she's bilingual. She couldn't help me what's so ever sounded like she was a bit frustrated. She then told me she'd be right back and totally blew me off by making me hold more than 30 min. Looking at their hours I called at the least busiest time as well. I've been using The Joint Chiropractic, and I really loved it until today. Went to Colorado Aurora location, a receptionist lady Michelle was very rude. I have been charged "youth rate" but It was actually they did it when I returned to wellness plan a while ago. then she said, "Who said that!?" that is an irrelevant question to start with and she treated me as if I forced them to charge the rate, no apology or anything. It was actually started when the wellness plan was that low price. Very poor customer service. Also, automatically paid was on March 25, it was for April. This location was closed due to covid19 on March 28, she rudely said I went 3 times, but how if they closed from March 28 and reopen recently? What a joke!! I am very sad that I was treated poorly. As an English as a second language people sometimes get these poor services. I do customer service myself at a very busy place. I never treated people like that even though they cursed at me, and especially it was the company's fault. I never go back although I wanted to continue and loved all doctors there. I had a snowboard accident and started having neck pain so I came here because someone recommended this place. Chiropracters at The Joint were very professional, they checked me and they told me I had to go to the ER to get Xrays done before they could see if they could help me, and they didn't charge me for that evaluation. After they made sure I didn't have any fractures I started coming once a week, for almost 3 months now, and I can honestly say the chiropractors here are very professional and honest. In my experience they won't just get you in to get clients, they will only if they can help you. Doctor Mark has been great, he answers every question I have and I can tell he truly cares about his patients. Everything here is very simple, if you select a montly plan (very affordable) they give you a card, and every time you come you just have to scan it, get a quick ajustment and in less than 10 minutes you are out of here. The staff is very friendly and all the paperwork is easy. I just wish there was water, especially during summer! read more

Although the Doctors who provide care are excellent, the front desk/billing/ policies of the Joint are totally in contradiction to the concept of providing care and healing. I prepaid for a year, and due to a medical escalation of my condition and a diagnosis of scoliosis, I had to stop my visits. I asked for and was given a 'freeze', on my account, with the hope that I would be able to continue services at a later date. Unfortunately, this was not the case. Contrary to their own policies of not treating a patient if they are under the medical care of a licensed medical doctor, they stated that my 'freeze' used up all of my prepayment months, (what was the freeze for then??) and that they did not owe me anything. When I repeatedly tried to contact them to request the refund, they blocked my email. THEN, to make matters worse, they took a payment from my bank account without authorization! I was immediately notified of this by my bank, due to my account having recently being hacked, and I reversed this. I see a lawsuit in my future!! Policies and procedures contradict the concept of healing and providing care. Do not allow these thieves access to your finances!! read more

Walked in with severe back pain at 3:30pm exactly. Was told that "paperwork takes too long" and therefore they couldn't see me as a first time patient today. Gave me paperwork and said "fill this out and go to our other location tomorrow." If you won't see someone at 3:30, why say you are open until 4?? I really like this place. Been a member since Jan '15 and no longer having migraines as often as I was. All the Drs are very good but Dr.Cy (sp?) is the best in my opinion though. Do NOT go here! I have been going to this location for almost a year. I was in the middle of getting an adjustment and had to tell the chiropractor on more then one occasion that she was hurting me. She wouldn't listen so I walked out. I called the next business day to freeze my account and the snotty gal that answers the phone told me my transaction had already gone thru and that they would NOT reverse it, didn't matter that I was injured by the chiropractor. I've been coming to this location for a few months now and always been super happy with my adjustments, until recently and I am pretty disappointed I am not getting the adjustments I have paid up for. Every time I come there's a new front desk, the older lady seems pretty rude. And the female chiropractor is just not giving the adjustment I need. I even told her what dr Cy does and she is like I pretty much did that but this way. I just always thought customer satisfaction came first. The chiropractors are good but double check your bank statements if you're in a contract with them. They tell me they're charging me one thing and charge my bank a different amount. We had just moved from California and found The Joint by chance. At first I thought $19 for an adjustment is this a real chiropractor! We walked in (my son and I) and were amazed that this was true and they were open 6 days a week until 7pm too boot (moving to 7 days a week now which is even better) so that we both could come on a weekly basis or as needed without having to worry about making it in time from work. The staff is profesisonal and give excellent individualized care.....at this cost and schedule there is no reason why everyone cannot make this the first stop in preventative health care....I know it has done wonders for both myself and my son and now my mother has started coming regularly as well.
