Switching my initial review after my experience today. They put my friend and I in the couples…read moremassage room. My massage was great and I was asked before hand if I wanted medium or hard. However, my friend next to me was never asked. The guy was really rough and she said multiple times to go softer because he was really hurting her. Her body language also was showing how painful it was. My lady even had to stop and tell him to go lighter and asked my friend if she was ok. He never went softer. She almost told him to just stop the massage all together. What really got me was after the massage I tipped my lady as I was satisfied. My friend did not tip because she was extremely dissatisfied. And he had the audacity to ask her TWICE for a tip. Saying she needs to tip him. Just because of that I will not be coming back and will no longer recommend this place again.

I found this spa through Groupon and booked a couple's massage for my partner's birthday. When I initially called to confirm the booking (since I hadn't selected a specific date on Groupon), there seemed to be some confusion about how the Groupon reservation worked. We did end up getting a time on the calendar over the phone. However, on the day of our appointment when we arrived, we were told after going back and forth in person that we didn't actually have anything scheduled. We then had to reschedule on the spot for about an hour and a half later based on their availability, so we left and came back at the new time. When we arrived again, we had the wait for about 20 minutes. The couple's massage setup was not what we expected--we were placed in separate spaces with a curtain between us, whereas in past experiences at other spas, couples massages have always been in the same room. The Groupon also listed four add-ons, but we only received two during the service. The front desk explained that we would receive those add-ons. During the massage, I noticed that she only did two of the add-ons. We didn't argue and just finished the appointment as scheduled. Unfortunately, the massage itself was disappointing for both of us. My massage therapist seemed to focus more on areas that weren't tense and applied pressure in a way that felt more on bone than muscle. I left with soreness rather than relief, and I also developed headaches afterward, which is not typical for me after a massage. My partner also shared that his massage did not feel properly targeted or effective. Another concern was that my massage therapist appeared to be unwell during the session, coughing and heavily breathing throughout. At one point, she had to step out briefly. Shortly after returning home, I began feeling sick with a fever and have been unwell for about a week since. Overall, I left feeling disappointed with the experience and would not return or recommend based on my personal visit.

I came on a Monday around 10:00 am and not surprisingly, I was the only customer. I did their combo 90 minute massage which was 45 min feet massage and 45 min full body massage. I liked the overall atmosphere. The red lights combined with the asian instrumentals playing in the background made it relaxing. I don't normally get feet massages but to my surprise I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I think many people underestimate feet massages and focus a lot on full body massages but our feet contain a lot of muscles and nerves that do need to be worked on. For me, personally, the pressure applied was perfect. The moment it started to get a bit sore from working on knots and pressure points the masseuse would basically comb over the entire surface of what was being worked on to kind of give it like a "reset" and work on another area before coming back to the same knot. I could feel the blood circulation flowing more smoothly and everything. After the feet massage, he gave me a pair of slippers and walked me to the back of the seats where there's a divider for body massages. This was my favorite part because my body was lathered in massage oil which made the experience better. Some other massages I've been to had lotion that would dry up within minutes or just worked dry and that's just not something I prefer. Same thing here, my back had lots of knots that was worked on and when I started thinking "man he's getting deep in there" he would then do the "reset" I mentioned earlier, work on another section, before eventually coming back again to loosen the knots. The ONLY complaint I have is that I was not turned over and I didn't get a nice short head/neck combo massage. But that's no biggie. I enjoyed everything else.
