The facility had an updated modern decor, with relaxing background music playing softly. There wasn't a receptionist but signage indicated that - you just walk in & sit down. Within a few minutes my Massage Therapist, Darlin came out & brought me back to a massage room. When I made the appointment it was required to book with a credit card & the price included a 20% tip. I paid in total $114 for a 60 minute massage, however the actual massage was about 50 minutes. The 60 minutes included a few minutes of discussion, the time for me to prepare plus the massage. My appointment was at 11:45 AM & the massage ended at 12:45PM. Darlin's massage was absolutely amazing - very skilled & a great listener! She was really able to work on my problem areas. Darlin was quiet during the massage, which I appreciated. Some therapists talk a lot & that can make it hard to relax. After my massage I felt great! I highly recommend Darlin & plan on returning for another massage.

This put me in a bit of a predicament. I needed to find a new chiropractor but I also kind of wasn't in a hurry. It's terrifying looking for someone to manipulate your joints when you have a bizarre genetic disorder that affects your joints. (Thanks, Mom!) So, I waited until I hurt myself and was FORCED to find a new chiropractor. Great, huh? My elbow was really bothering me and I couldn't even shower without help. Ugh. We searched around on Yelp for a five star chiropractor and we found Allie. We called her and due to a miracle (she is always crazy booked and can rarely take same day appointments) she was able to see me! As this was a new doc, I was terrified. If you're chronically ill you understand. You're sitting there thinking "How do I explain my complicated disease in thirty seconds or less, so that I don't get injured etc." Before my adjustment I explained that I had Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, and you know what Allie said "Oh, I've adjusted people with that." I actually did a happy dance! (She laughed). Allie is incredibly caring and kind. She wants you to feel your best and it is obvious. My husband, who has had back problems for years, lets her adjust him. He never liked adjustments before! Don't let the fact that this isn't a walk-in place put you off. Dr. Allie is WELL worth the wait and you will be so glad you went.
