Good to know: She is VERY VERY EXPENSIVE! She is not a chiro you can just get a one off adjustment from and be on your way. You have to get x-rays and undergo a complete exam first, then her treatments are around $3,500+ for a 3-week treatment course. Then you might be able to move to a maintenance plan if she deems appropriate, or a second/third round of treatment. She does not accept any insurance and if you ask her for a super bill to submit for your out-of-network deductible, she raises your rates. Pros: Dr J is very knowledgeable, committed, and will get you in if you're in dire pain. She has a TON of different offerings: eStim, AllCore, hydrogen therapy, orthotics, shock wave therapy, pillows, kinesio tape, and supplements. She also has lots of references and links to things she recommends, she is a great resource and she cares about her patients. Her office is easy to get to and parking is free and easy. She will also take your calls and texts after-hours if needed. Cons: She does everything by micro-measurements from your x-ray. This might be good for some people, but in my experience, the micro-millimeter-measurements on my x-ray and her attempt over a year to get my spine perfect were not correlate to my quality of life, ability to live, nor my level of pain (not to mention it cost me tens of thousands of dollars out of pocket to figure out). Her rules and processes for treatment/living life are very rigid...if you show an imbalance on your x-ray, to her its the end-all be-all to your problems. And if it doesn't show on your x-ray then it doesn't matter to her. In my experience, she would not listen to my intuition about my body ("she's my doctor and I need to listen to her" is how she put it). When I deviated from her protocol after 15 months of treatment, she scolded me like I was a child, exaggerated my condition, threatened that my entire spine would collapse, and then removed me from treatment for "non-compliance". This was the best thing for me as I was already planning to stop seeing her, but it was hurtful the way it ended. I started noticing a pattern that whenever I went long periods of time without seeing her (because she was ill, injured, or out of town), those were the times I made my best progress, I started feeling normal and like I could have a normal life, but then when I saw her again she would remind me of how fragile I am, all the things I can't do (can't stand a certain way, can't sleep a certain way, can dance a certain way, can't go barefoot, must to this and that....the list goes on). My life was dictated by fear....fear of moving wrong, fear of injuring myself, fear of causing damage to my body by living my life. But after a while I realized that the psychological effect of her telling me I was broken was perpetuating my flare ups....I generally dont have flare ups when I'm not around her for an extended period of time. I can do everything anyone else can do, I'm completely fine and she had me convinced that I needed her. Sometimes I felt like she made business decisions over clinical decisions. I purchased orthotics from her (spent over $300) and I HATED them, absolutely hated them but she wouldn't let me return them because she thought I should be wearing them. Her AllCore membership is set up to fulfill her business needs, not to be flexible with the needs of her patients. You have to opt in for a 6 month minimum contract and pay for 6 visits a month. If you dont use them you still have to pay for them, but if you use more you have to pay for more. When AllCore was hurting my body, she wouldn't listen to me. She brushed off the pain and my comments about it. It was finally my PT who called her to get my membership cancelled, it was the most frustrating experience to have to fight my own doctor to let me out of a contract that was causing harm to my body and realize that she would never listen to me, my thoughts, my intuition, and my desires about my body. In addition, her billing is not transparent. She keeps your CC on file and charges you randomly when she feels like it, the amount she wants to charge you, but she never sends out a visit summary, invoice, or anything. I have requested multiple times to know what I'm paying for and she would send me a receipt (nothing more than my credit card statement tells me). Its very frustrating to have your card charged without your permission for up-charges you thought were included in your visit. She carries very good supplements, BUT they are grossly overpriced. I made the mistake of buying once, she couldn't tell me the prices on them because apparently the prices fluctuate every day, but I trusted her and then all of a sudden, a month later she billed my credit card around $500. Of course I had to call her to ask what the charge was for and when I found out it was supplements, I immediately started getting them on Amazon or from my PCP office and paid a fraction of the cost for the exact same items. read more

I have honestly never met a Chiropractor that was as thorough and compassionate at she is. Finally better - Thanks Dr. Jen. I hurt my back a year ago shoveling heavy wet snow. You know, lift a lot, stretch out, then twist and throw.... Owww, pop, pain, and my back was OUT. My PC doctor told me I was looking at surgery! I came in for an exam at fluid and Dr. Jen was very up front with me. She said I had a long road to recovery, but their was a good chance I could heal without doing spinal surgery's. I thought what do I have to loose, the surgeon can always cut me later. Plus Ive heard really bad horror story's about going back in every couple years for more surgeries. Well, Great news!! I've been dancing since the age of 3 and became professional at the age of 16. When I turned 20 I started traveling to compete and teach all over the world and have been doing it for 25 years now. I travel between 35 to 46 weekends out of the year. As you can imagine dancing as well as traveling on planes can stress out your body. Dr. Jen is hands down the best. When I came into her office the first time I couldnt sit or stand or bend or do anything for that matter. I was 25 and had herniated a disc in my lower back and had scoliosis. She got me up and moving and I now no longer have scoliosis! I have been to chiropractors in multiple different states and have never been to anyone with the skill or knowledge or just the general concern for their patients that Dr. Jen has. Dr. Jenn is very knowledgeable and is constantly researching. Her care focuses on the whole body and requires consistency in appointments. She will educate you throughout the appointment so if you want a quick fix and no education, then this is not the treatment plan for you. Appointments are always on time and end on time. She has committed her life to "healing" people. Word of caution, at some point she will recommend a supplement plan or other services. I have been to her a few years ago and again recently and this was my experience in both situations. Note - I am a very healthy person with no medications or medical issues. I've spent 20 years searching for answers for chronic lower back pain. After consulting countless number of MD's, back pain specialists, chiropractors, massage therapists, acupuncturists, surgeons, I FINALLY found where I need to be. I spent more money than I'd like to admit on stem cell injections last year on L-4, L-5-S1 and my shoulder, which didn't provide the relief I hoped for. When I had my initial consultation with Dr Jennifer following xrays, she explained everything going on with my spine and her confidence in being able to help. I was skeptical and had heard this so many times. How did I know this would be different? It was a leap of faith, guided by a strong intuition that this was where I needed to be. The amount of time she spent going over my x-rays, explaining things I'd never heard before was so valuable. I'm shocked no one ever put all of this together! Instead, everything was looked at in isolation. I also remember Dr Jennifer repeatedly commenting during my consultation and subsequent treatments that the spine wants to heal. I thought to myself not THIS body. I had become so convinced I was an exception to that, but I can say with confidence my spine and body IS healing and in ways I never thought possible. In less than a few months, measurements for my pelvis, hip and sacrum imbalances have improved substantially to within acceptable range. Through regular chiropractor treatments and building a lift into my right shoe to support the changes, my body is changing and realigning. Curves are correcting. My neck and shoulders, which were rigid knots, have relaxed and are continuing to improve with the help of electric stimulation and shockwave therapies. I didn't even know what it felt like not to be one big mass of tension and knots everywhere. My low back isn't feeling twisted and in constant awkward discomfort. I can stand for more than 20 minutes without pain, sneezing doesn't send pain down my low back. I never even knew I had foot and elbow/wrist issues until I saw Dr Jennifer. Truly, everything required attention, not just my low back, which was always targeted previously. My sleep and mood has improved, which has been an unexpected bonus benefit! Dr. Jennifer is the most effective chiropractor I've ever seen. I suffered from chronic SI joint pain for about 4 solid years. I was in constant, crippling pain. I went to my primary care doctor who sent me to physical trainer who suggested stretching and core strengthening. That didn't work. Then I went to a rheumatologist who had x-rays taken and then sent me to a different PT. That didn't work. I went back to my primary care who then suggested I see a counselor for depression. I knew I was sad because I hurt so badly! It was a low, low point for me because I assumed I'd live the rest of my life with this pain.
