In the past few months (March, May July 2023), I have eaten there 3 times. Each and every time the food was excellent, the staff friendly and efficient. The restaurant is clean. You can't beat the prices. You'll love the simplicity of the basic meals that are consistently very good, down-to-earth home cooking. I don't understand the owner's talk of "dinner". They close at 1:00 and 2:00 p.m. so I'm thinking they serve just breakfast and lunch only, unless they serve salmon and other common dinner entries on Friday and Saturday before closing at the posted hour of 2:00 p.m. I did send them a suggestion that they post the time that they stop serving breakfast, because it is quite a drive out to the airport and by the time you get seated, you are ready for a great breakfast. It's a heartbreaker to hear "Oh I'm sorry, we quite serving breakfast 20 minutes ago". Especially when your heard is set on pancakes and sausage! Made me cry. But I went ahead with a lunch, and it was very good.

Tri-tip served was 5 small slices. I received 3 and one guy noticed and brought me a couple more on a plate. Texas small toast was lukewarm and hard. Waters were never refilled. Did not offer another cocktail and I had to ask to pay and he called me to the bar. Summary Place was clean, salads and drink was good but actually dinner was lukewarm. You could tell all was just reheated and did not check on us once we got food. I had to ask for silverware which is when noticed I only received partial slices of meat. Not the professional customer service I expect at a restaurant. I do realize not formal restaurant but I have received better service at a fast food restaurant. Will not recommend nor be back! My husband's tri-tip was filled with gristle and his seasoned fries were unbearably salty - and he over salts EVERYTHING. We came in during happy hour, then only ordered one thing that was discounted. From their website, it was difficult to ascertain the happy hour offerings, so I have included a photo of the happy hour menu. But don't let this detract from the quality preparations coming out of the kitchen. They are WOW! I started with the French 75, a champagne cocktail. It was light and fresh but ordinary, as expected. Husband ordered the Backyard Margarita which although $12 was strong and tasty with a nice tajin rimmer. Husband ordered the Cajun tots as an appetizer, while I went with the charred peach salad. For our entrees he ordered the steamed muscles spicy, and I had the scallops with risotto. The tots were crunchy and spicy, accompanied by ranch. The charred beach salad was a masterpiece of creamy burrata, grilled fruit, pecans and arugula. More please!!! A generous portion of mussels in an orange broth came with toast points. Slurping up the sauce with the mussels shells is always fun. The Seared Scallops & Corn Risotto was a beautiful presentation of five plump seared scallops over risotto garnished with balsamic glaze. The scallops were fabulous with a perfect sear. But the risotto didn't taste of corn or Parmesan, it was just one dimensional salty and a bit gummy. This dish really needs a green vegetable to break up the risotto, perhaps some asparagus? Finally, the bizarre horseradish cream blobs on the plate were tasted then ignored. It had an off-putting sour flavor which was completely out of place with this dish. Try again, this fluff was a fail. Our sweet but inexperienced server handled our check and we wandered off along Main Street to walk off our meal. It wasn't cheap, but it was definitely one of our nicer meals during a month in Oregon.
