They were sold out of the Sushi for the day but still had a list of sandwiches. My wife had their Rueben and I had their BLT creation. Both were very good. We knew we would be back. In fact, returned tonight and had their NorCal Roll. Watched some of the NFL draft, enjoyed a couple delicious craft beers and took the Sushi home. The Sunday brunch menu is thoughtfully curated with a nice mix of savory and sweet options, all sounding fresh and seasonal. We started with a bottle of Campo dei Sassi Prosecco (extra dry, Treviso) and with pomegranate and orange juice mimosas. The Prosecco was crisp, bubbly, and perfect for brunch--light enough to pair with everything without being too sweet. For the main event, I went for the daily special: Crab Cake Benedict. It was outstanding. Two perfectly poached eggs sat atop a crispy crab cake and thick cut sourdough covered in a rich, glossy hollandaise sauce with capers.
