Scott the owner contacted by phone me a couple of weeks back in response to my 1 star review of their company. He asked that I take down the negative review, in exchange for the refund of my $ and him letting me keep the jersey that was sent-which he admits was a mistake. He even offered me a free banner. I agreed to send him some comparison photos-authentic compared to his product. Fair enough I thought, he appealed to me being reasonable, which I usually am. To his credit he did refund my $ immediately! Well, life got in the way and my wife had some surgery which delayed my taking down of the review. Today I got around to e-mailing him back with the photos, and the return e-mail was chilly at best- "Marc, We're sorry that an error was sent to you. That is why we refunded your purchase. I ordered a jersey in January and emails have bounced. I have texted Scott and initially got a response that it was in production and then another that it could not be made. I asked for a refund and it went silent. I text daily and no response. Scott finally responded and said now the jersey is on its way but when asked for a tracking number no response. I placed an order back Nov 10-12 2019 for a Jersey for my husband for Christmas based on the images they provide on site to Winnipeg Manitoba Canada ..First time customer....few weeks later I still did not receive anything so I emailed them and got a response back saying due to a passing of a close army friend that was killed beside them (I have the email) they were behind in orders and shut the site down and were using DHL express on all orders. I was more then understanding but questioned why it was not shipped even end of November?? The response was it takes about 3weeks and with the holidays things are behind ....okay well I responded I need this for Christmas as to why I ordered way back in November... 1 week before Christmas now I email again asking the stat of my order , no response ,,,wait 24 hours then text Scott on the contact # , he responds that my order was sent express and GHL will contact me as they are overseas??? so I call GHL as they should have my mailing address and they had nothing and said they do not call... I then text Scott back few days before Christmas saying well I guess my husband won't be getting his gift, that this was unacceptable and I was more then understanding and I asked if they were a fraud company. After waiting TWO MONTHS (was told two weeks) since the order was placed, I received a jersey that looked absolutely nothing like the pictures they had shown on their website. Not even close. The team logo on the front looks as if it was drawn by a child in crayon. The stripes that are supposed to be on the jersey are again, not even close to the picture. Im truly blown away by all the bad reviews. My experience with The Jersey Barn has been nothing short of perfect. Before I even ordered Scott got me squared away with the correct sizing since online you cant try anything on. I ended up ordering 3 OHL hockey jerseys and the sizing ended up being perfect, better than even jerseys I have that I tried on in the store lol. As for quality it was even better than expected, the stitch work throughout the jersey was impeccable. As far as shipping goes the time frame was a little under 3 weeks from ordering them to them arriving at my door and thats during covid with 3 custom from scratch jerseys so I cant complain. Im super happy I didn't let the bad apples on here scare me from giving them a chance cause theres no where else I'll be ordering jersey from again. If I could give them 10 stars I would, from the customer service to the product quality you cant beat it, not even to mention the price. I have yet to see a better bang for your buck anywhere else.
