I always bought my gear in the store, great staff. Moved to DC. I usually am in town frequently but things being the way they are, I'm hunkered down at home. Quite impressive service online. I'm 6' 170. Wanted a medium champion SU sweatshirt. I guess I somehow messed my order online horribly and ordered a small. Totally my fault. I ordered a small T-shirt as well. The place to buy Syracuse University (Orangemen) t-shirts, sweatshirts and sweatpants. This is a Marshall Street institution. When you go to the Syracuse University Campus you have to stop at Manny's. Last year I got a bunch of Syracuse Lacrosse t-shirts, sweatshirts and sweatpants for my daughter. My personal experience is that the QUALITY of items I've purchased at Manny's is POOR and pricing is average or below average. I do not recommend Manny's if you want a quality product, at a very competitive price, plus a hassle-free Returns Policy. SUMMARY: Stick with top brands or you're screwed. But then you'll pay more than average vs. other stores I've found with top brands and very good pricing (www.syracuseorangeshop.com and others). MY REVIEW OF MANNY'S... 1. Pricing - Manny's pricing is ok, but nothing to write home to Mom about. I've definitely found better overall. 2. Quality - Manny's overall quality of their products is poor (don't stray from the top name brands or you're screwed). 3. Manny's "Returns" policy will at times make you want to pull your hair out (Personally, I think that "if a sweatshirt is coming apart at the seams after one wash, that shouldn't be something that I have to battle with you about"... especially if I'm only asking for an exchange!!). 4. The on-street parking sucks: Very difficult to find a parking; and it's not free. BETTER OPTION... I've found a few very good shops for Syracuse gear (especially online). I am a Syracuse grad who lives in Chicago now. With Syracuse having a good season and on their way to play DePaul, I thought I would order a brand new Syracuse shirt to show off at the game. I remember Manny's from my days at Syracuse, so I went to their website to order a shirt. I selected one medium orange Syracuse shirt and typed in all my info to have it shipped to my house in Chicago. This was on a Friday afternoon. Flash forward to the following Wednesday morning when I receive an email to notify me that the item I ordered 5 days ago was not in stock and my order was canceled. It took them a whole five days to find out that my one shirt was not in stock! There was nothing on the website to indicate the item was out of stock, but if they notified me within 24 hours of placing the order I could have ordered another shit. Unfortunately, the SU-DePaul game was on that Saturday, so I had no time to place another order. I sent an email to Manny's Online telling them how there was no indication on the website that I was ordering an out of stock item and how it shouldn't take five days to tell a customer that an item is out of stock. Of course they never bothered to respond to this email and apologize to me for taking such a long time to tell me my item was out of stock. I guess Manny's really doesn't care about their online customers. That's fine with me because when Syracuse wins the NCAA Tournament this year, I plan on buying all my SU championship merchandise from another store. read more

Absolutely awesome customer service! They are nuts with the Final Four t-shirts and I wanted one that I saw on their website that they didn't have in stock yet. They were so helpful and took me back to where the boxes came in and went through and got the sizes I needed so I didn't have to go back later on and risk missing out. When I went to college Mannys was the place to get good apparel but DO NOT ever think about ordering anything online. The people filling the orders and the people in customer service are completely incompetent. You will be sorry. I ordered a sweatshirt in Dec. 08 for Christmas and found out when it was opened on Christmas morning that it was the wrong one. When I called to ask about this I was told on the phone that they were out of the one I ordered, so they just picked another one that was close to it to send to me??? First of all, how is this acceptable without asking first. And secondly, it was completely different. So I mailed the item back at my expense, and then had to battle with them to reimburse me. Once they finally did, they ended up charging me for the shipping AGAIN instead of crediting my account. To make matters worse, customer service never responds and when I call they have the nerve to be rude to ME on the phone. It is now the end of Marck and this problem is still not resolved. read more
