Field & Stream is a great superstore for outdoors, fishing, hunting and camping enthusiasts!…read more This Field & Stream store is located on the former Wal-Mart site at Consumer Square in Big Flats. This outdoors superstore has a great selection of outdoor gear and supplies with several departments under one roof including: camping, outdoors apparel, camo gear, hunting, dog training supplies, auto accessories, electronics, guns, archery, knives, binoculars, fishing & tackle, footwear, food, snacks, souvenirs, gifts, kayaks, and more. There are several clearance of items on sale throughout the store. Name brands such as North Face, Columbia, Under Armour, Carhartt, and more are sold here. Field & Stream is also fun place to visit too with stuffed game displays (elk, bull moose, bear, deer, buffalo & others) throughout the store including the large mountain of animals in the back of the store. There is a warm fireplace with comfortable chairs at the front entrance, though the cold draft from outside blows in too. This place is very similar to Cabela's and Bass Pro Shops, but on the smaller scale here. No aquarium or shooting gallery, and no snack bar here, but they sell food such as beef jerky, candy, fudge, dried camping food, jar goods, and spices. I shopped here for some shirts and pants and there were some decent styles in the clearance racks, but most of the good stuff was for really big guys XL-4XXL. In all, I like this big outdoors store and it gives me another option between Cabela's and Bass Pro Shops. I also shopped at the Field & Stream store in Altoona, PA, which has an identical layout and very similar decorations.

Great selection of various essentials and excellent client service. Will definitely make the drive…read moreagain.

I would say I end up here once every 2-3 years for a big seasonal overhaul, or if I am in need of…read moresome specific brand. Yes, there's some empty storefronts as the future of IRL retail continues to evolve and change. However, you cannot deny the convenience of a complex like this, typically with great prices. I went recently and had quite the list of things I needed to grab. I really detest shopping, which often means I wind up going without things I may need updated, and Waterloo is an easy solution to that. I grabbed well-priced sports bras at the UA outlet, sweaters at the LOFT outlet (much better selection than the Henrietta outlet), had luck at the H&M, and also made stops into Nike, Levi, Banana, and more. I love that you can enjoy the great outdoors as you shop, though I wouldn't make big plans to dine anywhere here as the options are scarce. A great stop and easy drive from Rochester if you're looking to find what you need!

There's nothing premium about these outlets. I wouldn't go out of my way to come here. It's the…read moremost average set of typical outlet mall stores in a sort of below average set of buildings. The contents of the stores are the same as you'd find anywhere, but the atmosphere is unappealing and a little despondent. Out of all the Premium Outlets I've visited this one has probably been the most meh. The various store employees were mixed. There were some that were helpful, and other that sort of helped begrudgingly like they were doing you a favor. The upsides are that there is a lot of parking available, you're probably not going to have to deal with lines, and the stores all seemed well-stocked. The Shake Shack is not in the outlet mall, it's on the other side of the highway.
