With exception to the occasional friendly cash out girl, the rest of the staff always have a condescending attitude (especially the lumber counter) and get annoyed when asked for help. Someone should remind them that they work at a mom & pop hardware store for a living, not a 5-star resort in Las Vegas. Save yourself the hassle and shop at Carey's Lumber or just make the trip to Lowes or Home Depot. Avoid this place.

Don't expect a warm welcome or even a frosty nod when you walk into this very organized store. Not one person has ever said hello, good morning or thank you When I have shopped there. Retail is about service ...hospitality. The Chamber of Commerce should give this store a pep talk...Don't want to go to a TEA Party at Home Depot ...in a shop your politics vein. read more
