You HAVE to come inside this store. It is an experience. The cutest most friendly and warm store. They have everything you could possibly need for sewing, crocheting, any art project of the sort. Fabric, buttons, lace, ribbons, tools, etc. while their prices are definitely higher, it is clear it is because of the quality of all of their items! If you value quality over price then definitely shop here. Very important when you want to create lasting items :) they also serve lunch from 11-2 I believe and it's in their little dining area which looks like a grandma's wooden kitchen. We are taking the weekly sewing classes and are having a blast so far. Thank you to Rossanna for being an incredible instructor and hilarious as well. We are sewing pajama pants and learning so much! I love Piecemakers store and classes. Everyone there is so nice. I even had my special needs son take an apple pie making class there. It was amazing. They are all so very helpful and seek to make customers feel valued. I certainly hope that they open a new facility where I can go and take classes again. They are missed by many people. read more

WOW!! This place was soo darling!!! There's really no other place I've seen like it. Its definitely more of a "country home" then just a "country store". I definitely felt like I was in someone's country home who happened to have things for sale. Everything was placed so aesthetically pleasing to the eye. Such a home-y feel all around, from the craft area, to the homemade chocolate and pastry area, the pottery area, the thrift area ( which by the way was amazing! It was great stuff for thrift store prices! I bought 3 shirts, and a bag for 30 dollars), the hair salon, and the small "restaurant" ( which really was like eating in someone's home, I loved it!). The food was great, my daughter decided to do the peanut butter and jelly sandwich with cheezits, and I did the chicken salad sandwich with chicken noodle and chips with homemade dip, SO DELICIOUS. Oh and the carrot cake they had WOWWWW really wish I had bought two! So moistttt, best carrot cake I've had. They also offer sooo many classes here, if you want to learn how to make quilts, sew, knit, etc! I really enjoyed the quilts they had on display, they were stunning and finely crafted. This country store is an amazing place to take classes, find fabric or fibers for your next craft project. I found it on Yelp and loved browsing. It was like being in a throwback to the 70s. They even serve snacks that class attendees were purchasing. Upstairs is a store of antiques. Quilts. Furniture. Knick knacks. I found some nice Christmas fabric for a cushion cover project of mine. A class was going on to make jewelry with shrinky dinks and special molds to make flowers with them I just realized I forgot to use my Yelp coupon on my purchase!!! read more

This is as good as it gets!!! I can shop here for one of a kind and always find it. I can have tea or coffee and a scone for breakfast or a great lunch. Folks are very nice and kind and no drama to be found ever! Classes...a chance to learn something you don't know how to, or get better at something you know. Most of the classes you will not see anyplace else because a lot of the teachers are keeping very old forms of art alive by passing it on. The entire place is wonderful, and don't even get me started on the construction crew, they do everything from electrical to rebuilds and beyond. They have also done work for our condo complex. This place is so quriky adorable. My friend and I were in the area and we decided we'd check out this spot. Honestly, I wanted to go check out their tea room, specifically for the scones. The moment my friend and I walked in, we were welcomed by such friendly staff. All the ladies were so sweet and so welcoming. Each cranny and nook we explored, there was someone welcoming us and explaining the projects they were working on. I expected for such a lovely place to have extravagant prices, but everything seemed so fair, from thy jewelry to the beautiful handmade soaps. My friend and I saved the best part for last and sat down to enjoy scones with lemon curd cream ( I think?), shortbread, and a chocolate chip cookie. It was all so so good. You can totally tell these are homemade baked goods on the premise, which made it extra amazing. Even the reciept is handwritten old school, which to us was cute! I want to come back to try their lunch! But it's hard to explain the feeling of how cute and quaint this place is, so if you crave scones, stop by. The people are all so kind. read more

Whoa... what era am I in? Piecemakers is one of those places that makes you scratch your head and reflect on whether you've gone back in time. Nope, you can access everything on your cell phone, so all is not lost! A combination of JoAnns and Knotts Berry Farm Craft Fair, this craft shop has a really homey old fashioned quality about it. The decor is very a bit schizophrenic, but it works! They offer a wide range of fabric, applique, buttons you name it. It's a one stop shop for all your craft needs though a bit expensive for my taste. Yet, I've still given them 4 stars. Listen here and listen good... These women bake a mean apple pie. *drools* I will even go as far to say that they make better pies than any franchise shop. Verdict: GO BUY AN APPLE PIE!!! ($12 each) You're welcome :) read more

I found an absolute gem! I was looking for patches to cover up some holes I have in my clothing and found various designs, I bought floral and nautical themed patches. They have drawers full of unique beads, gemstones, sandblasted, antique. I eventually felt so inspired and bought the beads to make bracelets. Excellent customer service as well. Everything you read is about the country store, which is lovely, but my applause is for the construction site. They are amazing. They completely remodeled our horrible looking bathroom, and made it perfect. Two years later I asked them to remodel the kitchen. Amazing!! Demolition was down to the studs. They gave us a perfect kitchen in 32 days. They are so kind and wonderful to have in the house. My husband and I hated to see them leave. They are perfectionist in every way. The attention to detail, wow! Far more picky than I am. They arrive exactly when the say they will, and when they leave everything is cleaner than when they arrived. Get this, they came in under budget. I'd feel perfectly comfortable handing them the house keys and going out of state until they were through. Don't use Piecemakers for construction work if you plan to leave your home and buy a new one out of the area. Went looking at houses in San Diego and nothing could suit us. Piecemakers did everything so perfectly and with such precision that everything we looked at paled. We found fault and the tours were peppered "Well Piecemakers certainly wouldn't have left this wall looking like this, or left this cupboard not closing properly." In other words, there are no comparisons, and we are totally spoiled. read more

I always thought Piecemakers was for quilting classes and knitting, even baking classes plus quality tools. But I recently needed a real clean outside the house. The weeds were just out of control and the regular gardener didn't want to deal with it. A friend recommended them also for their connected company, PIECEMAKERS CONSTRUCTION! They do all kinds of jobs. First Dougcame out and inspected the property and then they gave me a bid. And we agreed. They arrived exactly 10 minutes before they were due in order for the crew of three men who spent five hours clearing the land flat!!! they took everything out the roots and all it was totally clean except for the two plants that I asked them to go around and it didn't even show that it was different! I am so impressed that I am going to ask them to help me with my porch revival this summer! Another landscaper came two years ago & Cut it down flat but didn't pull out the roots. Piecemakers cost me more than that fella did but the job they did was absolutely worth every single penny!!! Highly Recommend!!! read more

I love this store!!!!! This is my first visit and it's soso cute! The staff is so nice and friendly, I felt very welcome there and I was allowed to look around at my own pace. The fabric selection was huge and many I haven't seen before! It was so hard to choose just one! They have a small wall of nicer yarn, you won't find red heart here! It's notions galore and I enjoyed every minute of it they even had plenty of yarn scraps and fat quarters and cool beads!!! There's even crafting books and magazines in perfect condition. I was also told they have food there, I did see candies for sale and they smelled so good....I regret not picking one up. The muffins looked really good though. Oh! i love supporting independent shops, yet while my arms were full of crafting supplies a group of ladies/employees in the "crafting" room were literally slut-shaming & victim-blaming, as they carried on about all the sexual harassment claims in the world. :( I was in the farthest corner and could hear "well...what was she wearing?!?" I would cringe to bring my children here to be taught by such offensiveness. NO THANK YOU. As an adult woman it was hard enough to hear. Too bad, i used to love this store. But I would rather spend my $$ somewhere else. I know these ladies feel like they are alone... but if it is a public establishment, then maybe keep your ugly political rhetoric to yourselves or at least under your breath. read more

I visited this place last month in December. I was looking for some material and a seamstress to make a dress for me for an event I'm attending in January. I looked this store up on the internet while searching for a fabric store near me and they showed up in the search. On the website they post a bunch of arts and crafts classes they host including sewing classes, so I thought I'd check it out and find a seamstress there. Upon driving up, I saw that they have plenty of parking and the outside of the store looked very cozy and inviting. When I went in, the store was so pretty. It's definitely in country style and they decorated for Christmas. So cute! They have so many items to see and buy including fabric, crafts for jewelry, tea and accessories, cookbooks and items for cooking, an abundance of scents and other things to make soap, and a lot of other stuff for other projects. They sell beautifully finished quilts, throws and other handmade items. They have a small selection of secondhand retro clothing as well. They sell candy at their candy counter and if you're hungry, they have a small tea room where you can order homemade food and desserts. If you love arts and crafts or shopping for something unique, this is the place to visit. Oh, and back to my original thought, they recommend a seamstress for me, who is one of the teachers there that gives sewing lessons. I really do love this place. read more
