While the staff initially helped me determine that the parts wouldn't fit my model, the experience took a sharp turn for the worse once I expressed interest in upgrading my machine. As a digital artist, I was genuinely excited by the modern digital displays and asked technical questions regarding firmware, Bluetooth connectivity, and the ability to upload my own vector-based artwork. Instead of answering, the senior saleswoman repeatedly cut me off. Her response to almost every question was a condescending, "Why can't you look that up on the website?" or "Did you know there's a website?" Her tone was arrogant and made me feel as though my questions were an inconvenience. A few major red flags for potential customers: Lack of Transparency: No prices or information are displayed on any of the machines. High-Pressure Tactics: I was verbally quoted $1,999 for a model and told if I didn't buy it by the end of the month, the price would jump to over $3,000. Poor Customer Service: When I thanked her upon leaving, she gave me zero reaction. I even called another location to report my experience, and the person on the phone seemed completely indifferent--not a single apology was offered. I am a sewer who helps teach beginners in a local senior group, and I was prepared to be a loyal customer. Instead, I left feeling irritated and dismissed. I will be looking into other brands like Juki or Janome and will certainly be advising my sewing community to avoid this establishment.

Rather than buying a new sofa, I researched places that sell the foam used for furniture seat cushions. Luckily, I found Alan Upholstery and Fabric during a web search and seeing if there were any Yelp reviews for this business. As almost in all cases, my fellow Yelpers did not steer me wrong!! My wife and I made the 60+ mile journey on a recent Saturday morning to see if Alan could help us replacing our flattened seat cushion. The business has no on-street parking in front, there is a driveway that leads to the rear of the store, but parking seems very limited, especially if the adjacent business is open. We ended up parking on the residential street west of the stores dn walking back to it. When we walked in, we were warmly greeted by Alan. This shop is crammed with all sorts of materials, thread spools, furniture pieces than one might find here when repairing furniture. I showed him our dilemma; he asked us to walk back with him to his work table were he then began taking measurements of our existing cushion. He began searching his work area which is stocked with many different types and sizes of foam. He recalled a piece of foam that was custom order but was never used by the original customer. As if the furniture gods were smiling on all of us, the foam piece he located was cut in the identical shape we actually needed. Just a couple inches were needed to be removed to fit our cushion cover. Happily, thanks to Alan Upholstery, we are able to get a few more years of life out of our sofa, and we know know where to go when we need any type of furniture repairs or upholstery needs, new seat cushions done!! Thanks again Alan!!
