Sometimes it looks like there aren't enough tables/tools in there with all the customers but it always seems to work out! I would give 5 stars because we have continually gone back but I feel like more can be done to show what products are available. It's a silly complaint but I'm always a little bummed when I don't see a piece I would like to work on so I settle for something affordable. (Which in my experience range from $18, 22, 28, 34, etc. I am sure there are ones more/less costly) I also understand some items maybe seasonal or limited but I think snapping a couple pictures and updating their "inventory" on Facebook/Instagram a little more often could go a long way. Lastly, we have found ourselves wanting to go to the store a few times but arrive and realize they are only open Friday, Saturday and Sunday. This is key to remember when you go back to pick up the pieces you painted and paid for. Photos below are from August 2022.

The only downside is that it can be very crowded, but I would definitely come back again.

The staff were ALL…read morereally friendly, very helpful and appropriate in their 'checking in' to see if we were good or needed anything. There was a good variety of items to choose from to paint. My wife took a a platter, and using their wide variety of stencils and the patterns that the staff printed out for her, made a really awesome Christmas cookie platter. She also made a very colorful spoon rest. My eyes were bigger than my hands and I chose a large old fashioned pickup truck with a Christmas tree in the back. It took me about 4 hours to get my piece painted with the detail that I wanted. The items will all be given a glaze and fired by the staff this week and will be ready to pickup in 4 days. The Christmas tree in my piece will have miniature Christmas lights placed in them and lit up before I pick it up. I will edit my post to include pictures once the items are finished. The pieces available to paint have a wide price range so there is probably something for any budget. We will be bring our grandkids during Thanksgiving break. Not sure if it was due to people being off for Veteran's Day but the place was fairly busy the entire time we were there. It would be a fun activity for date night; family activity; or even a group of friends. It was fun!

Soon as we walked in we were greeted by Ashley. This location was really busy, but still great vibes! Ashely was nice however not attentive. She did asked had we been here before, I advised we been to the one on Houston. She gave us quick instructions on picking out the pottery pieces. However once seated we never received our water jar, or the necessary things needed to begin. One my daughter picked out her colors and went to find help, located Hope, who was an absolute doll!! Very very helpful! Four stars for Hope!

SCREEN PRINTING CLASS was excellent. I live way out and drove in for the class and it was worth…read moreboth the drive and the cost. Tons of information, lots of explanation about why you should use one product over another, very hands on, and walks through the whole process from start to finish. It is a class with a focus on business/pro-level screen printing, NOT hobbyist stuff so the information is not simply a generic "how to" but a "how to" with equipment and supplies that would make the most sense in a professional setting. THE STORE seems oriented toward professional artists and crafters, less toward hobbyists. There were multiple sections that really surprised me in terms of selection - I haven't seen some of that kind of supply on hand outside of specialty shops I've visited in other large cities. Specifically, the selection of vinyl, HTC, etc for shirts and jerseys was outstanding. The screen printing supplies (ink and chem selection) and equipment (presses, tools, etc) were impressive. And the quality and variation in fine painting was great, as well as the multiple options for easels, art tables, brushes, etc. Finally, I got the impression that this is absolutely the kind of place that would be able and willing to order supplies or equipment on request, which is gold. *Really valuable resource to the regional arts community.*

I have followed Assemble Cocktail Workshop on Instagram and have always thought it looked super…read morefun, so when a friend wanted to do a private party for her birthday - it was a no brainer! We arrived a bit early and Lillian quickly whipped us up a welcome cocktail which she called "A Walk in the Garden". It was a prosecco based cocktail and absolutely delicious (and pretty). While we enjoyed this cocktail and looked around the shop... she prepared the workshop space for the lesson. The birthday girl had been given a list of cocktails in advance and was able to select the ones she wanted to learn how to make (she selected the Blackberry Smash & Bee's Knees). One thing I loved about this class is that Lillian gave options with each cocktail so that everyone would end up with a drink they loved. For example, if you don't like bourbon which is typically in a Bee's Knees... you could use gin instead! Then we had the options to make it spicy/sweet/herbal/ etc. By the end of the class... we all had different and personalized cocktails. In addition to the cocktails, Lillian prepared a large bowl of popcorn with specialty seasonings and showed us some of the fun tools that can be used for different prep methods. We also had downtime between making each drink to enjoy them and chat amongst ourselves. This class made for the perfect outing... we're already talking about doing another for the next girl's weekend. I cannot recommend this class enough and will absolutely be back!

I was doing a birthday weekend with friends in Boerne and came across Assemble Cocktail via Visit Boerne. I booked a private Tiki session for 7 of us and it was the perfect way to celebrate with friends. If there's only one or two of you, you can book an open session that's available. We made Mai Tais and Painkillers - both were delicious. Since I had a couple of folks who were preggo, I notified Lillian and she made sure to have two setups with zero-proof "spirits." Lillian was a great teacher and host. She has aprons and leis so the vibes were perfect. The location is a cute bungalow tucked behind another business on Main Street (kind of easy to miss if you're looking for it right on Main Street). The business started at the beginning of the year, so it's fairly new, but add it to your list of things to do if you're in the Boerne area!
