This is a fun boutique that has incredible gifts for anyone, including yourself. We went for stickers and Spurs items but they have so much to offer such as hair accessories, notepads, bags, hats, artwork, napkins, books and a wall of stickers! Updating my review (from my last review 5 years ago!): Still the best local spot to find all of the best local artisans who really capture the best of all things San Antonio. I love coming here whenever I am in town to even just buy a handful of quirky and one-of-a kind stickers. But trust me - they got more than stickers. They got puzzles, cute keychains, the sassiest earrings, beautiful big and small art prints, hair clips, stationary, unique cards (birthday, thank you, congrats, y mas), and even pet items and home decor! Any item I get from here (big or small) always gets complimented or someone is curious about where I got it. Things like eraser tops, tea towels, or even holiday decor, you will find something super unique and fresh here. I come here often for birthday gifts and this really is your one-stop shop because you can even get the staff to help you remove/cover the price tags AND gift wrap it up for you. I love all of the unique and bright/vibrant colors and options you have here. Parking always easy here and curbside order/ordering online is always super easy and probaby the best bet if you already know what you want. Their online inventory is pretty spot on and always accurate. I still recommend going into the shop anyway so you can see the cutest curated shelves to see what they have. read more

What's not to love about Feliz Modern? This is ultimately and indisputably the best local shop in all San Antonio. I've been a loyal customer of Feliz Modern for years. Their original store in Olmos Park is so dreamy and the perfect place to find very unique gifts. I love that they support local artists and artisans and carry a wide variety of local brands. They sell everything from home items, party supplies, paper goods, games, you name it! This store has something for everyone. Whenever I have family visiting and they want to buy a local souvenir I always take them to Feliz Modern. They have the cutest San Antonio merch which is way better than those made in china items you find in downtown. Last but definitely not least, you can also buy through their website and you can pick-up in store or have it shipped to your home. I am a big supporter of local business, especially those that celebrate my culture. After a few minutes inside browsing I was approached and asked if I needed assistance. I was the only person in the shop who was approached, I purposely stuck around a little longer just to see if anyone else would be asked too(they weren't). I could feel her behind me just staring at me and when I finally looked directly at her she started moving around trying to play it off. I went badk to viewing items and tried to give her benefit of the doubt but when I looked back again, she was in a different spot still looking my way. Maybe the employee didn't realize how obvious it was, I came in with the intent of supporting small local business but left feeling unwelcomed. I hope the business reflects on how customers are treated, because no one should be made to feel that way. The only highlight came from the vendors selling outside, all of them were great. I attended a book signing for a fellow food writer at this location and was so tempted to buy all the cosas! The staff are very helpful and engaging, so you actually feel wanted. I loved how they have the different sections arranged by color and theme. For someone who is a obsessed with organization, it allowed me to shop in peace. The prices were a smidge on the higher side, but not so much that you feel like they're gouging. I also loved that they have a rewards program for shoppers, which you can also use at their Pearl location (something else the staff let me know). read more

I just love to peruse this venue. They are stocked full of fun and unique gifts and treasures. Handbags, candles, stickers, pillows, vases, t-shirts, mugs, books, etc.... There's something unique and sweet for everyone and at various price points. My favorite is the Whiskey and Sequoia Paddywax candle. Not photographed, of course. It smells divine and the glass jar can definitely be reused for trinkets or even for serving. Don't forget to check out the sticker wall where you'll find several sticker packs and individual stickers made by my sister (Flynn Craft House)! Sorry for the shameless plug! I've been a fan of Feliz Modern for a few years; they have a shop at the Pearl that I have visited several times. But I was driving to the nearby HEB and saw this location and practically slammed on my breaks. How did I not know that this Olmos Drive location was here? How did I not visit it before? It's larger or at least feels larger than the Pearl location and has similarly wonderful goods for purchase! Art, tchotchkes, t-shirts, books, decor, cards, gifts, and more. On this visit, I got myself a Spanglish day planner for 2024 and a Christmas ornament (Hot Cheetos) as a gift for a foodie friend, and my mom got a t-shirt. So not only do their products make it super fun to shop here, but their staff are FANTASTIC. Seriously, wonderful people work at this shop. I think I spent 30 minutes here, wandering, chatting, talking about art. It's a great store - definitely stop in if you're looking for a gift for someone else or a treat for yourself. read more

With Love from San Diego...my virtual postcard to the people of Feliz Modern in San Antonio. One of my favorite cities in the US. When you can't shop local, at least shop small. I first heard about Feliz Modern via a Yelp Sweet 16 Birthday Event. I just cannot resist a store with a colorful decor, filled with celebratory magic and local products that are hard to find somewhere else. It's just plain fun and unique. When I visited the website, I came across the Pandemic Loteria game, made by a local San Antonio artist. The shop was currently out of stock, but had it back re-stocked in no time. Can you say faster than a bottle of rubbing alcohol during COVID19. I'm ready to host that Zoom Loteria game. Who's on board? I also could not resist picking up the most appropriate bandana for our fur babe. I ordered in the PM, the items were shipped the next AM, and I received the most merry thank you message from the shop! I ordered the "Pawty Box" online from here to celebrate Yelp's Sweet 16 birthday celebration. The box was absolutely adorable and super simple to order. The box came in under a week and the checkout process online was easy-peasy. Inside the box- all the goodies to celebrate a birthday! To start your visit, there is plenty of available parking either right in front of the store or to the side in a parking lot, for those who don't want to back out into traffic. When you walk in, you are greeted warmly by the employees (owners?). The store is so bright and fun! It is strategically laid out to be appealing to the eye and to be able to easily move around throughout the store to find the items you are looking for, or to just discover something awesome! There is a large main room that has similar items grouped together and there are two smaller rooms to explore as well. One is a room full of party supplies and the other has a large table and houses items from rotating artists, and I believe it is available to rent. They have seasonal decor and party items, so right now they have a lot of Halloween decor at the front of the store and a few Thanksgiving items. You can find something for pretty much anyone here and to fit any budget (I found multiple items around the $10 mark!) Being a science nerd, some things that stood out to me were 3-d printed earrings, sets of periodic table baby blocks, and science themed notebooks. They even have a (clean) public restroom! On my way to use it, I found these wooden pennants that have many of the neighborhoods around SA on them; I wanted to buy one as a gift for my friend, but her neighborhood wasn't available. They were able to special ordered one for me in the color of my choice. Nice! Feliz Modern is the kind of picturesque shop you would see in a movie or on a TV show--too whimsical to not be a product of Hollywood magic. They had us at that purple door, blue brick, Otomi window mural, drinking station for dogs, and free library. Little did we know what awaited us inside! As soon as you open those beautiful purple doors, you're greeted with a bright space filled to the brim with every color imaginable. Upon closer look, you discover that everything in the shop is hand-selected for YOU. Yes, you! And this is the best feeling in the world. It's like walking into a dream. I went there the other day on my lunch break. I was stressed and having a sad day. As soon as I walked by the windows on the outside I was in awe of all the cool and unique displays. I walked in and was greeted professionally. Mind you I get a lil anxiety at times. The girl followed me around for a sec but I understand. She did ask if was looking for anything in particular but I was just browsing. Everything in there is so precious and so much to look at. I ended up buying something for my office to cheer me up. The funnest gift shop/party prep/San Antonio store in the city. Feliz has become my first destination when I'm shopping for a unique gift or card for special occasions. It is also a great place for a just because gift for your homegirl/boy/bae that needs something that will put a smile on their face. It is also a great place when you're shopping for your own damn self (soaps, T-shirt's, bags, corkcicle cups). The store changes seasonally. Right now they currently have the cutest easter/bunny items out. Not your thing, the other items are always whimsical yet practical. Candles, kitchen things, desk accessories, unique art, decorative accents for your home, and puppy supplies abound. Towards the back is a party supply room. Buying anything in this room will make your next party fashionable and unique. The other small room towards the back is fantastic. T-shirt's that are uniquely San Antonio - for babies and big ppl alike. Word of caution: I literally dropped a cute bean and cheese onesie because the price was ridiculous but hey...some people are ok with spending that much on baby gifts. (Not I) Back up front there are earrings and an awesome selection of cards. I'm a stationary junkie so this is fun for me.
