Don't do it, artists! They make very nice product, packed beautifully and fast shipping. Great! That's all fine and dandy. However, their website is terrible and their customer service is awful. I paid a lot for 3 huge canvases with the extra color correction. Two are perfect. The third- I like to do my own borders. It's very easy to last second knock it off center in illustrator. Since there's no way to zoom into their tiny mockup of your work without complete pixelation it's hard to see how your work is going to look. You'd think the person doing the color correction would have noticed it's not centered. Nope! There's no human to talk to- you are at the mercy of Angela who takes forever and a day to return an email. I was willing to take responsibility and needed to reprint. I had my canvases created two days before a 20% canvas sale, so I asked if I reprinted and did another huge one could I have the discount. That's fair, right? Angela couldn't even read the email correctly! Two days later (I'm on a time crunch) I get the answer "no refunds". I didn't ask for one! Still waiting on return email. For these prices there needs to be a human on a phone who can deal with artists' issues and a much better website. Moving on to another printer who has a human I can call and a much more professional website. read more

1. Customer service is terrible. You can't reach them by phone even if messages are left multiple times and IF they respond to emails they are unhelpful. Problems can't be resolved and one is left trying to figure it out alone. 2. Their Note Card feature does not work well. If trying to print Christmas cards or Artist cards to sell, attaching a front and back image/text works fine but the inside insert does not work at all. It's impossible to attach anything to the inside of the card despite what they say online. Their system is flawed. 3. The color on my proofs looked fine but because of these other issues, I have decided to pass in working with this company. And from the negative reviews about color irregularity, as an artist I'm not going to risk being further disappointed. read more

Ordering is easy, turn around time is fabulous, packaging is wonderful. However, their color matching has gotten much worse since I started working with them. When a customer holds the print up to the original painting, it's ridiculously noticeable. The print is either lighter or darker than the original. Color matching is extremely important for artists. I've had to send pictures that I creased or tore up the prints in order to get a "credit." Used the credit to try again. The color matching was still horrible. This time I specified that I wanted a refund as opposed to a credit since I will not be using them anymore. Now they expect me to pay shipping and make a special trip to the post office? For their inadequate work? For them to just destroy the prints I'm sending back anyway? What's the point? Now I'm embarrassed that I had recommended them to so many other artists. Time to find a new printing company that actually cares about the customer and the quality of their work. Definitely would NOT recommend using them for professional reproductions. read more

I have several hundred images I want to sell via POD, and after reviewing Finerworks' Shopify integration and receiving several excellent 20x30-inch fine art giclée test prints, I was eager to build my business with them. Unfortunately, inconsistencies with their server's ability to accept uploads--and their reluctance to address problems on their end--made that impossible. After deciding to move forward with Finerworks, I began uploading additional images to my virtual inventory on their server. That's when things went wrong. A particular file was rejected with a "filename too long" error that couldn't be resolved to my satisfaction. I followed their suggestions, shortening the filename and removing hyphens and parentheses, but the server still wouldn't accept the file. Worse, their customer service team appeared not to read my detailed responses or review the screenshots I provided. Instead, they continued to blame my naming conventions or the browser I was using--despite the fact that I had already successfully uploaded and printed 200MB+ TIFF files using similar filenames, and had tried the browser they recommended. The filename in question is fully compatible with macOS, Windows, and even my Linux server--yet Finerworks declined to investigate the issue on their end. As a quick test, I signed up with Creativehub and uploaded the same file without issue. In short: while Finerworks' print quality is solid, their customer support experience was extremely disappointing. read more

I ordered a print of an oil painting sending the same jpg. to Finerworks and to Printful. Fireworks was over 4 times the cost but I thought the quality might be worth the investment. The color quality from Finerworks was terrible, not even in the ballpark, nothing to do with the uploaded art. Printful was much better printing and a fraction of the cost. read more

Very poor customer service. I placed an order for 3 prints and then before it shipped reached out to the customer service asking them to make it 4 instead. Their customer service just rudely said they wont do it. Then I placed a separate order for one extra print and paid for it including shipping and reached out again asking them to at least send them out together since it's exact same print that needed to be printed out 4 times instead of 3. Their customer service response was 'this is not how we process our orders'. Thank you Finerworks for your nonexistent customer service, way to go! read more

I used to print all my stuff at Finerworks. I won't be doing it any more. I had a show that came up with very little notice (1 week), I paid extra for rush service, paid for two day shipping. My piece wasn't even printed for 5 days and I got it 1 day after the framed piece was due. The color was muddy, nothing like the file sent in. This business used to be amazing, but I can no longer recommend Finerworks for anything. read more

I have been a customer of FinerWorks since 2012, when I was printing my own photograph. back then, I would call and the "man" answered and I would have so many questions back about the different print types. very patient and even sent me so I could see how different photography paper would look for me to decide. He was very nice and his business obviously was a small Texas printer and I liked that. A few years later I moved from the Cape, and I uploaded an artwork piece for printing on the FinerWorks site and it was noticed (by whom idk) and it was quickly added to my own gallery page that GEO GALLERIES had just formed and it really lite a spark with me. I'm dedicated and proudly emphasis that FinerWorks is and will forever be MY PRINTING COMPANY. Everything I have ordered or selected for a buyer has been beautifully printed and in some cases for a donation I had a piece, printed, matted and framed. The woman running the silent auction was in awe. It's bidding price exceeds my expectations and was bought from a person who loved it as well. It was a beautiful piece, created by me, printed by FinerWorks and now hanging in a home in Cape Cod, MA. Some products are good, some are mediocre. I complained about the quality of some prints. Their policy states customers can ask for a refund or replacement. They kept putting me off- would not give me an answer, pretended they had not received my request- Ridiculous! If they had just said "no" to my request for a refund I would have respected them more. Very poor customer service. Wrong print made by mistake. They were not willing to even compromise for a reprint. The response was rude. "Your request (87856) has been marked as solved." I would never recommend this company to anyone. The company on Etsy where I purchased the download from will no longer be recommending this print shop. read more

These guys are awesome. Absolutely unbeatable prices, quality, and shipping costs. I have made dumb mistakes in my order and was able to modify with their help when other companies would have charged me and forced me to reorder. Can't say enough about how good their service and print quality is. One suggestion, make sure you order their sampler kit as you can get a feel for each of the types of print media ahead of time. $25 but it includes a $20 gift card, it will save you time overall. Will continue to use them as the best high quality printing source I know of. read more

These guys are excellent both in quality work and customer support. USPS marked my order as delivered even though the package failed to show up (surprise). I began trying to track down the package and called Finer Works just to make sure it shipped. It had, and I explained the situation over the phone to the customer service rep (wish I caught her name). She was genuinely nice and helpful. And while no fault of their own, she put in a new order for me free of charge. If you need an example of good customer service, give Finer Works a call. Sometimes things lost in the mail just materialize out of thin air a few days later, which happened to me. The prints I got looked great. The paper was just as they described online, the colors were exactly as I expected, and they packaged everything up very nicely. Quality = great. Price = great. I will definitely use Finer Works in the future (and, unfortunately, our stupid post office). read more
