Overall impression after trying a burger, some chicken, cheese fries, shake and a special sauce: Average. Nothing stands out as a must-come-back-for dish.
The burger had a small piece of tomato that was still whole after 2/3 of burger eaten. A burger should give a complete taste each bite.
The meat was bland in flavour, couldn't tell if that was the meat quality or lack of seasoning. Maybe both.
The chicken was moist and had some nice herbs in the coating but for $6.50 one piece is a rip off. That works out to be $45 for a whole chook! WTF!
The shake certainly tastes like New York Cheesecake but after a few slurps the flavour is too much. I suggest the owners try a Malt or Milo shake from Ribs N Burgers to get the can't-stop-drinking-shake idea.
The cheese on the fries is all wrong. Southern comfort food would never have pungent Spanish sheep cheese like a Manchego.
Everything was edible but it all just needs tweaking.
