I moved to Houston and after a few barbershops that weren't the best experiences I stumbled across Ms. Nish on Instagram. I was able to book an appointment effortlessly. From the beginning to the end the experience was welcoming and pleasant. She is friendly, professional and on time, which a lot of barber's struggle with per my experience. Her prices are very reasonable for the level of service she provides. You can always tell when a person loves what they do, and she clearly loves her craft. Haircut was fine. But I had a horrible experience with the lady with red hair. She wouldn't listen to me and after telling her that I did not want my beard trimmed she decided to do it anyway.. I never trim my beard and am extremely angry right now, I have stuff to do today and I am currently embarrassed to be seen in public. So now I have to drive over an hour back to my house just to shave this BS off my face, only to have to drive back to Houston. The worst part is that she ran her razor over parts of my face that I purposely never shave because I do not want to grow hair there!! This was not the only thing she ignored me on, I will never return here.. I would post a picture to show how stupid I look if I was not so embarrassed. You need to listen to your customers, not ignore them. Despite this, I still tipped both lady's that helped me $5 each and I am hoping that the other nice lady actually receives her tip. read more

Fran was very friendly and sympathetic when I told her about my bad experiences with male barbers in the past. She did a great job on giving me a natural but still stylish low cut. The Hot Towel is a great concept. Great barbers with great service. Every barber is talented and they each have their special skill-sets. I'm thinking no problem, but they have four barber working of which three don't do hot towel shaves. They seemed to have a nasty attitude because I wanted a shave.
