So I got on yelp and typed in black barbershops. Then a few popped up but 'The Fade Parlor' was close so I called and Victor promptly answered the phone. Very professional and courteous. He had a late appointment so he told me to come and he would clean me up. When I arrived it was a peaceful & intelligent atmosphere, very comfortable. It is a single chair studio with wood floors and a flat screen (I even think there is wifi). I received the utmost in personal attention, grooming and razor edging. The chair is very comfortable and spacious being that I am a Ex Football player. I was very impressed with my cut and even more impressed with the professionalism. Not one has ever suggested or attempted to do anything other than a straight all over even clipper buzz cut. What will keep me coming back to this place, to Jeannie as long as she works here, is that she took what I wanted and made it into something that looked nice. My hair grows very fast so I just get it cut as short as possible to avoid getting it cut. We talked about it and Jeannie says "I'm going to do it like this" she cut it just about one guard over and it looks much better for it. She paid close attention to detail and I think it looks wonderful. The price was very fair, and I accidentally tried to overtip by at least 20 dollars and instead of taking the money and keeping it, Jeannie let me knew and returned it. I couldn't be happier.
