Probably one of the most talented barbers I have let cut my hair. Moe is clearly very skilled at working with all types of hair. He did a great job and I will be back. Thanks Moe. read more

I don't think this is open anymore. Called the place and I could barely understand the person who spoke on the phone with me. I received a text to an address totally different than what is on Yelp. It didn't say Mo's so I assume it was a mistake. read more

This was my first time as a client of Moe's. I needed a hair cut and edge up so I searched yelp for a black barber and his name came up with 5 stars with every review. The shop is located in the Richmond Plaza strip next to Richmond Pharmacy. Moe was very nice, and carried conversation throughout the visit and provided attentive, accurate and quick service with a razor sharp lineup. I will recommend him to anyone needing a sharp cut. Appointments are preferred but he does take walk in read more

Moe is a professional with elite skills. His edge ups are sharp and the fades are well-blended! He's one of the few barbers around that still uses a razor for the lines as well. I've been here several times, and I've never left disappointed. Also the shop is clean, and there's always some entertaining conversations going on. read more

Needed a barber pretty desperately on a Monday while I was going to pick up my son...and located Moe on Yelp...after giving him a call and letting him know that my young son would be the one getting his hair cut...he ask what time I wanted to meet...and that he would be there waiting for us...after picking up my son from school and arriving at the shop at the time we agreed on...we were greeted by Moe...he was very professional...and introduced himself to my son...so he could feel comfortable...once he knew my son was comfortable with him...he ask him what type of hair cut he wanted...my son explained what he wanted...and Moe did an amazing job...Moe stated he has been cutting hair professionally for over 15 years and that he does it for the love and doesn't look at it as just a job...I would definitely encourage people who live in the area to check out Moe... because if I'm ever back in the area...he will definitely be cutting my son's hair again. read more

Came to houston on business and wanted to get a cut from one of the best. Great shop. I enjoyed laughing and hanging out with the other clients and barbers. Typical barbershop talk and atmosphere. I rate it 3 stars b/c I made a 1pm appointment the day before, arrived at 12:40pm, but Moe didnt arrive until 1:40. By that time, I had already asked the other barber to just give me a line-up because i had another appointment in the city. I appreciate that Moe was still courteous enough to tell me he still appreciated me for coming. That was 1st class and 5 star within itself. When I visit the city again I will give him another try. Other than that, I would still recommend you give him a try as well. He has a good track record. Today must have just been "one of those days." Hey, we're all human. It happens. read more

After a flake from another barber (not associated with this shop), I was a bit frantic to find a barber at the last minute on a Saturday afternoon. Moe was originally booked, but he accommodated me and I must say, I've found my barber in Houston!! The shop has a good and chill vibe and you can tell that quality matters. It's been years since I've cut my hair off, and I'm honestly just glad that I have somewhere to come now. Hair looks great. Clean cut. Feminine like I wanted it. read more

Moe's an excellent barber who even has availability on Sunday's. The cut was quick and very fresh.

Amazing barber with skills!! Makes you feel at home while he does his thing. Competitive prices! Feeling like a million bucks after my cut.

Had to fly out to Houston from NY and needed a haircut last minute. Moe hooked it up and gave me a fresh ass cut and probably one of the best I've ever gotten. I highly recommend him for any Houston natives or those traveling there to give him a shot. P.S. don't forget to add the name of your shop to your Yelp account read more

First of all, I came to this place because of all the good ratings. 1) it has 5 stars. 2) it shows the prices are low. 3) reviews say they can do any type of hairs. 4) it's closer than my usual barber shop. I had a hard time finding the place because the sign doesn't says "Moe The Barber", ok whateva. I was seated by walk-in by a barber who wasn't Moe. Next, I've asked for simple instructions on how I want my hair to be cut. My dry, thick hair was getting cut as if I was African-American. He didn't moist it to help it from being puffy, but was cut like a bush. After all is done, I was left with an oval-shaped head, my back swirl was clipped, top front side was bulgy; I looked like Johnny Bravo. I've told the barber that he removed my swirl and trimmed too high on the back side. After I've instructed how to fix my bulginess because I had to make it flexible to change my style or modify it at home, I stayed relax cuz I can PROBABLY get it fixed somewhere else. I've asked for the price ( leaving with an oval-shaped and less bulged) I was charged $20+tip. For a Hispanic with dry, thick hair, this is not the place to go, so you're better off looking for another place. Now, my review is being attacked by an "apparent" employee and I want to make it clear that it's sad to see a honest review getting reported to false claim when, evidently, my presence can be proven. I'm was only going to not recommend this place to dry, thick hairs but i won't recommend it to nobody due to the lack of professionalism. read more

Came to town for business and needed an edge up so I reached out to my colleagues for a referral to a barber. I called a few of the referrals and left messages. However, after a few hours of waiting with no call backs I decided to look on yelp and found Moe. Moe was very understable and professional. He was able to get me in within the hour. Upon arrival I was greated with instant hospitality. His shop was very clean and well maintained. Moe didn't just give me an edge up, he got to know me and made me feel very at home and welcomed in an unfamiliar city. In regards to the cut itself, I'm very pleased with his work and I'm proud to call him my Houston barber. read more

Spent $40 on a hair cut and Moe the Barber spent more time watching a movie at the shop and talking on the phone while trying to cut my hair with one hand. Horrible experience!! Will not be going back and I don't recommend anyone to go either, unless expensive and bad customer service is your thing. Also I asked for a faid and got just levals f different size hair. NOT A FAID!! read more
