Old school barber shop. Noah is personable and fast. Super haircut and would highly recommend.

I almost did not want to write this review because I don't want the secret to get out! (but Noe is the type of businessman I will gladly support!) Quick, affordable, and just the right vibe. Quick: first come, first serve, quick enough to be done on a lunch break, not too quick as to feel he's rushing. Affordable: I don't know about you, but I am sick of massive charges for basic haircuts. Noe has found a dedicated customer who appreciates his skill, and is happy to pay what he asks, even as the cheapo I am. Social vibe: Noe is a stunning personality. He matches personality very well, and is a the exact kind of comfortable presence you want from a barber. There are days when I have gone in grumpy, and he's been perfectly content to work in silence, and days I felt like chatting it up. Noe is a consummate professional in either circumstance. read more

Have to give a 2-star. Not sure if it was my communication, asked for a bald fade and maybe received a 3 guard. I like fast haircuts, but 4 minutes. Seemed to want to turn and burn. Just be crystal clear about what you want. read more

Noe has been cutting my hair for over 20 years Great guy and great location. It is like a barber shop from the 60's 70's.

All good. No BS, not overpriced, Noe is a nice guy and cute hair well. Warning: clippers cut, cash only, check the hours for open days. read more

Great barber shop. First come first serve. Fantastic haircut! Really good price as well. He is very personal and real. Go see Noe!

Nice little barbershop in an industrial section. Noah is professional, good at what he does and is very efficient and quick. I actually like the dive bar decor look of the place. Happy to support this local business. Igor haircut I decided to go with shadow fade, he not only fixed my hair, the fade was blended very nicely. In and out in 15 minutes. Be prepared to wait in line, first come first serve cash only business. I arrived at opening time and there was already two ahead of me. Happy to come here every time I travel thru H town read more

I bring my 1.5 year old to get his hair cut and he does such a great job with him! he's super friendly, patient, and my toddler always walks away looking like a little stud despite wiggling the whole time. 10/10 recommend coming here for boys and men's hair cuts! (: read more

My SO has been coming to Noe for over 20 plus years. The cuts are fast and always look spot on. Never a bad experience coming to see Noe. Be patient as there is normally a wait. Not long but Noe is super popular. This last trip we also had our little ones hair trimmed with layers. I mean, why not? We were already there. Noe did an excellent job on her long hair. Highly recommend trying this shop out. read more

Masters Barber Shop - Noe cutting my daughters hair - Barbers Near Me - Houston, Texas

Noe is great, my husband couldn't find anyone in Houston that would cut his crew cut short enough.

Simply amazing cut. Noe knew exactly what to do without me really explaining what I wanted. He went right to it and delivered one of the best cuts I've got in a LONG time. You will not be disappointed, try this place out! read more

See all

I just got a fresh cut from there, I will definitely be going back! The barber is really nice and the shop is really good looking

Great barber and barbershop, goes above and beyond, all styles. A must experience, Noe is the best barber hands down !!!

Noe is quick, friendly, and skilled. Today I was a first timer; from now on I'll be a regular.

At some point I will be moving out of Houston. My brother's family is a few hours away in Lufkin. I have made my brother fully aware I will be timing my trips back to see them with when I need to get my hair cut. Hard to mess with perfection. read more

Tip: Only accepts cash or check, so be sure to bring those. No-e was awesome. He has a very relaxing presence and made me feel very confident he knew what he was doing. I showed him a picture of what I was looking for and he said "Oh yeah. No problem. This will be fun!" He even gave me an idea of how many times I'll need to come in for my hair to grow out to the length in the photo. The cut was fast, he even gave me a shave. The location isn't pretty but don't let that deter you. If you go to Masters Barber Shop, you'll never want to go to another barber shop. read more

Masters Barber Shop - Killer haircut from Noe! - Barbers Near Me - Houston, Texas

Super cool barber, old school traditional feel, in a small cottage building that is hidden a few blocks away from Karbach brewery- off 290 freeway. My boyfriend went in unannounced looking for a quick haircut-whilst wearing a hat which is apparently taboo- and Noe was still very accommodating. He cut My boyfriend's hair quick-within 5 minutes; yet highly exact. It was a close cut, very clean and he looked super cute. Affordable. Noe also trimmed my side shave and didn't charge me. Overall, the service is high quality, quick and Noe is super skilled. We're both returning to Noe when we're back in Houston. read more

Awesome barber & shop. My hubby gets his hair cut here. Before he starting going here he went to the same place for 8 years. He's very happy with the change and definitely recommend! read more

A laidback experience. With how rave his reviews are I expected a long wait but around 11am there was only one person in front of me. He deserves the rave, just bring cash. read more

Noee never fails to give a fast friendly cut with a smile Even with a line of 3 people ahead of you be prepared to be in and out in 20 minutes... Place has great character.. THIS IS NOT A FLUFFY HAIR SALON. This is where a man goes to get just a normal man haircut.. Where you are asked what number you want not what style you want read more

Quick cut, great price. I used to pay $40 base charge at good salons for a pomp. This guy charges less than half that for a better cut. Good place, good people. Beer in the fridge for those that can dig it. Always pleased walking out of this place. read more

Simple no frills. Great haircut and great conversation. I highly recommend Noe for all styles of haircuts. You won't be disappointed

Surprised I haven't left a review yet for him. He's got to be the best barber in Houston. First of all, he charges a very reasonable $15 for haircut. Second, he's extremely fast. He's probably the fastest barber in the world. Third and most important, does a good quality hair cut and you get out the chair looking good and feeling better. Lastly he certainly is a gentleman I treats everyone with respect. I would recommend him above all if you want a haircut no matter who you are. read more

Good, fast, and cheap. Usually you've gotta settle for two out of three. Not here! Noe is a cool guy, super nice, and he gets your hair cut quickly and does a great job doing so. What else could you ask for?! What's the one thing you can't replace? TIME. Yours won't be wasted here. I can leave my office and be be back in 30 minutes. So glad I found Noe's shop! read more

Noe is a great professional barber. Nice guy and doesn't waste your time. Been using him for a couple of years. Never disappointed.

Impressed. It was quick and perfect. I explained to Now what I wanted and asked for advice about my curly wild hair and he cut my hair beautifully! The shop is small and it feels like a jump in the past. read more

Noe is a super cool guy!! Shop is awesome. I do hair as well and had no idea where to go and so many places were closed and I'm glad they were cuz I ended up here. Exactly what I wanted, great guy to talk to, fast, and still good priced! Will definitely be making the 20 minute drive every time I need a cut. read more

Found this badass barbershop! When I walked in there were only two guys in front of me, then eight other dudes walked in right after me. The gentleman cut my hair three times faster than any other lady at Great Clips without any more touch ups. read more

Great cut for a fair price. I was treated with respect and communication was clear. Just a little outside the highway loop.

Amazing little spot right by the karbach brewery. Noe is absolutely on point, great guy with style. Makes it happen for me every time. Quick with a good price , if your considering swinging by, just do it ! read more

Writing on behalf of my SO - we decided to stop in on a Saturday around noon because of all the great reviews. Previously my SO refused to go to an actual modern barber or salon (usually because of price) so he would go to very cheap chain places each time getting his hair butchered and vowing never to return. Watching Noe work is pretty impressive, we had 3 people in front of us when we arrived and he got through them in maybe 20 minutes. He is quick yet precise. My SO does a pretty basic military-style haircut but the people in front of us had a range of styles. My SO's haircut was nicely faded and Noe even shaved his neck a bit during the final clean up. Bottom line: If you want an affordable, non-pretentious, GOOD haircut from a friendly guy who knows what he's doing, go see Noe. We will be back! "Know before you go" Parking can be an issue - there is a business in the back of the building and if they are there that day the tiny parking lot will probably be full so you'll have to park on the street. The place is CASH OR CHECK ONLY. Lastly, the lowest on the list, is that the place is pretty cluttered and dusty. It's cute because most of it is family pictures and memorabilia, but all that stuff is a huge magnet for dust. Not a big deal, just an observation from a weirdo with OCD wanting to potentially prep other weirdos. This is not a reflection on his services however - his equipment looks to be properly sanitized and I did see him clean the clippers after each use so no worries there. Literally just talking about the surroundings. read more

Awesome haircut, friendly service, great price, and you are in and out quick

When you walk away from a hair cut, it, without fail, affects you. No doubt you either feel like you just got scammed, or you've got that extra pop in your step, head held high, ready to take on the world and a hot date. A quick stop at Masters will leave you feeling the latter every time! This shop is exactly what I'm looking for when I hunt for a good barber! Very reasonably priced, and styled precisely how you like it. Down to earth, no fuss, good ol' reliable hair cut from a pro. Good luck finding a good straight edge neck clean up at the end anywhere else. Tip: Go during mid a.m. or afternoon on the weekdays for a super quick cut with no wait. read more

What a hidden gem! An awesome, old-timey barbershop with a Mexican twist. Noe is "the Dude." He demands respect with his sick flow and runs the place as the only barber. A former salon barber, following in his father's footsteps, know is a master. One of the quickest haircuts I've ever had yet one of the best. On top of that, he's the nicest guy. When I told him I wanted it cut an inch shorter, he said no problem. Not only are the haircuts awesome, but the vibe is great. Plus the haircut was only $10 for us college students. I would highly recommend this place to anyone in Houston. Plus, there are great restaurants in the area (we went to Houston Panini & Provisions afterwards). read more

I tried this place out because it was near my office and the reviews were good....and the reviews were completely accurate. This is a simple, no frills barber shop and the guy running the place is super cool. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes and my hair looks great. I think it's cash only, but mention seeing him on Yelp and he will give you 20% off. read more

Very Skeptical 2 Very Impressed. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the place is rough around the edges. But I'll be a regular. Bring Cash - Credit Cards Not Accepted. Parking could be a little difficult. The first time I came I realized cash only just before I got in the chair, I said "I need to go get some cash, I'll be back." He insisted I sit down and get a hair cut and just bring it back to him later. WOW. read more
