HOT TO TROT After hours at this this sports bar can heat up the night life. On Saturdays the music spinning is classic club hits from the early 2000s to 2010's. There is a 'DJ' but he is more like an MC, because the music is on a preset playlist that syncs with the respective music video playing on all the TVs in the venue. The songs are only played a minute of the track before it plays the next tune, but it still gets the people moving. There is no dance floor , perse, but people will just find a corner or open space to do all their twerking. It is really casual, yet I did see a bachelorette party in there shaking bridesmaid booties. Be ready for when they play 'SHOTS' by LMFAO and Lil Jon, because that's when the waitresses stand on the bar counter and start pouring free liquor down anyone one's mouth who is willing get alcohol dripped all over them in the process. It is much like the bars in Mexico without the annoying whistles and gropey men, thank goodness! It stays warm throughout the bar, but there is some relief with misters on the patio and big industrial fans placed here and there on the inside. Working up a sweat will definitely make you want to drink more. Usually there is a line to get in but it goes fast. I was so impressed and surprised by this restaurant! We came here with some friends before going out in the downtown area. I truthfully was not expecting much, but the food was delicious, tons of flavor on the chicken and the sandwiches were unique. I got the side chick sandwich and my husband got the hot chick. The addition of the arugula and pimento cheese on the side chick made the sandwich so fresh tasting and full of flavor. We ordered one basket of fries to split and it was a large enough for the two of us. We did come early enough that it was not crowded with people yet, but after about an hour this place was packed! We've visited a handful of times over the years and more often than not, are met by rude security manning the entrance. Amazing food!!!! I was obsessed with everything we ordered. We sat ourselves and were brought drinks by a server. Any food we wanted, we ordered at the counter. The half chicken bucket was deliciously crispy and hot. The house salad was fresh and filling. The grilled chicken was juicy too. The nachos!!! So filling and tasty. The melty cheese was amazing, and I loved that they put baked beans on them. They were perfectly topped with pickled onions. The prices were the best I've seen in Scottsdale. Very reasonable food and drinks. We went for "bottomless" mimosas. It was really $10 for a bottle of Champaign and unlimited juice, but that was a pretty good price. The Hot Chick is such a fun, lively spot to hang with friends all day or night long in Old Town Scottsdale. You can enjoy cocktails at a great price, play tons of different games with friends, or just sit and enjoy music. You can expect it to be crowded and loud, but full of great vibes. Service is always great. I've never gotten food there, but I've always heard and seen that it looks great. We had participated in a pedal pub and this was one of our stops. Literally AMAZING. I'm so glad we had made this stop. The music was AMAZING and we had a large amount of space to dance in front of the bar. I had tried a pootie tang drink and I could honestly drink so much more of it. It was amazing: goose vodka, peach schnapps, coconut rum, and tang. The bartenders were so attentive and made sure drinks were up to par. Came here on a Halloween bar crawl and this was one of the last stops where I joined in. Place is pretty big, lots of indoor and outdoor seating. I also managed to play some Skeeball, which I haven't done in ages. Fun, circular bar and bartenders were helpful and easy to order a drink. Food is ordered at another window, options looked like bar food. I chose to pass, maybe will give it a try next time. I loved that many people were dressed up for Halloween. I even saw a group of Asians dressed as bananas! That totally made my night! The Hot Chick is basically an R&R replacement. I went with a two friends and it took about ten minutes to have someone acknowledge our existence. It seems that there's more managers on the floor than troops. The wait staff and managers seem to spend more time conversing than hustling. The bartenders are the real work horses here. The layout is spacious with seating indoors and outdoors. Televisions are plentiful. I ordered a Bavarian pretzel and the chicken sandwich. Both flavorful and saving this place from two stars. Bingo was a blast! The DJ was great! Food was overall ok and the cookie was amazing!! The table bus staff worked hard & earned the tip. Cocktail service was one of the oddest service experiences. 1 drink ordered & delivered with zero issues, she seemed nice. She never returned & actively worked to ignore our table. No idea why. Our bill was small and it was so difficult to get our bill & pay we considered just leaving. The cash out process was 30 minutes of trying to get my bill & cash out. What we did do was drink! The bartenders never made us wait too long for a drink despite the big crowds and were super friendly. Drinks were fairly reasonably priced and tasted great, and they definitely did not skimp on the alcohol - the tequila shots we took were massive in a good way! The main room has arcade games around the perimeter. Our highlights included skee-ball and DDR, but they also had some classic arcade shooting games if those are more your jam. The outdoor area had a nice little dancefloor and there was a DJ playing some great music - extra points from us when we heard some Bay Area Rap over the speakers! If you're in Scottsdale, do yourself a favor and check this place out. It blows a lot of the other bars out of the water! read more

Just overall a meh experience. Walked in- they were not busy at all. Took over 5 minutes for the bartenders to acknowledge us from their own personal conversations. There were only four other people at the bar and they already had drinks. Got our first drinks and headed outside to play games. Good for a while, went in for drinks and waited again while the bar was NOT busy. Asked for Lalo tequila shots and it was definitely NOT Lalo tequila that we received. At the end of the night, we never got a last call. At 1:59 security came and yelled "we're closed!". We downed our drinks and walked outside. One of our group left a purse, and when we tried to go back and get it, they wouldn't let us in. Had to call and ask for it to have to brought out and they were just super rude about it. One of the security people actually called one of our group "brace face" because he has braces. Like wtf? Seriously? I'm spending my money in this establishment and we're being ridiculed like middle school? Overall not great experience for our group of 7, who spent over $1000 on drinks. Do better read more

Exciting! This restaurant is not for introverts. It's wild, loud, proud and only for 21+. They have a champagne special for $5 bottles (yes, I said bottles) of champagne with a meal. The food is self order at a window and it's kind of meh. We got a breakfast sandwich with chicken and egg on a biscuit. I thought it was going to come with gravy so it was a little boring. We got a waffle with spicy chicken nuggets which was decent. A hamburger. And a breakfast burrito. Plastic cutlery. We were told we could not make a reservation without committing to $30/pp in alcohol only. Since everyone in our group was driving we decided to forgo that table and got a great place at the round bar in the center of the action (got there right when it opened).
